Chrisitian views (God's views) of issues of contemporary importance place a label of extreme right wing fundamentalism upon those who believe God. A local talk show host says in his startup blurb, "No room for intolerance." What a put down on the Christian ethic, which is known in the world for intolerance! (to their standard)
Same sex marriage, (homosexuality) euthenasia, cloning, political correctness, free speech (no matter the content) etc...it is early and I have no list..just a few thoughts to be added to.
Our biggest danger is to be viewed as radical to the degree we are not worthy of a hearing. I think that is the case today. How can it be otherwise? God is not welcome in society. There is no Merry Christmas, only Happy Holiday. I think the holiday is soon to be over.
I see the world and it's man made pretenses of correctness thusly.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

I have often wondered, could this tolerance issue of allowing all religions on an equal basis, be God's way of saying ,"If yours, then mine as well" and keeping us safe? Could it be used as a weapon to be able to practice our faith and not be persecuted? We would have the political argument of, "equality to worship" that they, themselves instituted to allow their own perversion, to make sure we could meet and worship the true God.
In Daniel, the king made a proclaimation that no one worshiped anyone but "X" (that being the king) and that was unacceptable to a Christian. However, this allows the open door to worship as long as everyone is treated equally.
Is that beneficial to the Christian? They are, in effect, making it posible for us to continue our worship under their own laws.
As people increase, horrors will increase....we may have to meet in secret becasue of hate crimes....but those will be crimes and punishable, will they not be?

That may be it...forced into a book of Acts church. Having all things common, persecution abounding, meeting in homes to hide..Rhoda coming to the door when one is let out of prison. Angellic administrations, miraculous healings. I would almost welcome it rather than this man pleasing generation. There will be whistle blowers like the unconverted Paul. There will be modern day "stonings."
