The Bible commands us to worship God.
It's NOT a Ego trip for Him. He is humble. Why is He humble? Because He loves us!
He IS love. He is NOT proud thoughts.
Worship is beneficial to us. So, .........God commanded us to worship Him.
Explanation, please?
How big is the Universe (Creation)?
No matter how powerful our telescopes are, there's always more Universe, beyond our vision, that we can't see.
Every time we invent a more powerful scope, we see more stuff beyond our previous knowledge.
Why did He make the Creation so LLAARRGGEE? He wants us to know that He can do such LARGE things. He's a BIG God.
Our natural tendency is to sin. Even when we're in-dwelt by the Spirit of Jesus, we must struggle to behave ourselves, in thoughts, words, and deeds. Paul said, "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling".
So,............... our natural tendency (even for Saints!) is to think PROUD thoughts. When we see how BIG the Creation is, we are humbled. (or we SHOULD be humbled).
So, ............... worship is Good for us. It helps us to be LESS proud, and more humble. And it helps us to love God more.
What is God's ULTIMATE PURPOSE? (as far as we know?)?
He wants to Love, and to Be Loved.
We Saints are the target of His Love.
He wants us to Love Him.
We love Him because He first loved us.

In the South, we teach our children to say "Yes, ma'am" and "Yes, Sir". I don't care if they are reaming you out, that respect will be there for anyone over you in position or age. Only your peer odn't get that homage.
Kinda freaks my parents out when we go back to California to visit. But I just smile and love the South all over again.

God has "endured" a massive inssurrection in the very courts of heaven. Satan has led 1/3 of the angels in open rebellion against God. Satan wants to take over the throne of God. He is still trying. It is not about us directly. As a result of all this Satan has fallen to the earth where he now goes about seeking whom he may devour.
But God created man to co-rule the universe with Him. He did it in the face of Satan. Satan is so jealous of men that he will stop at nothing to thwart the plan of God for men.
The reason for that is that when this thing is all done, we will be helping God rule the universe. God will give us that responsibility, and He will give it as an act of righteous judgment against Satan for trying to steal the same privelage.
We are in a battlefield between God and Satan, and we are going to be the victors. What we are having to do is prove our allegiance to God so that we will be willingly obedient to Him at the beginning of the new heavens and new earth. Then all will be in harmony, and God will be glorified.
Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Eph 2:6 And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Your approach is different from mine.
You're thinking of Glory, Victory, Righteous Judgement,
It's more about God and satan on the battlefield, than about us.
I'm thinking:
God's focus is on US! The Bride.
Satan is forgetable. Satan is not **THE BIG DEAL**.
The Bride is the Big Deal (in my opinion).
God is ( and we are ) looking forward to a sweet fellowship of Love . We're not concentrating on Satan. Satan is used by God to get to a LARGER purpose. The Marriage to the Bride.
God's focus is on Earth, and Earthlings. Satan was cast down to Earth, not Mars.
The Adamic Curse was put on the WHOLE UNIVERSE because man sinned, not when the Martians sinned.
God's focus is on man. and earth.
God's Son died ONE time on EARTH , not on Jupiter.
God's Son will rule the EARTH for the Mill Reign, not Neptune.
When Eternity Future begins, God creates a new EARTH, not the milky way.
God's focus is on Earth.
God will marry Earthlings, not satan.
Satan is not in the picture in Eternity Future (satan is cast into the lake of fire). Shudder!

This "reasoning":
I learned it from Dave Hunt.
And I agree with his reasoning. And we "deduce" our thoughts from common sense and , it's based on Scripture.
But, there is no place in Scripture where it says "There are no Martians or ETs anywhere. They don't exist."
The notion of ETs and Martians is just fantasy, which seems to contradict Scripture.
I have fantasies, some of which contradict the Scripture, BUT! I don't present them to other people as REAL possibilities. (in the REAL world)
Perhaps, one reason that people "want" to believe in ETs, is: It seems to contradict the Scripture, which is a "good" thing for Many people (the Many are un-saved and hate the Scripture. ........Only a Few people are saved, and love the Scripture)
This is another evidence of Satanic influence upon the un-believer's hearts and minds.
