RosielovesJesus
I haven't any pedigree,
I'm just a common cur;
I can't do tricks like circus dogs,
My life is-loving her,

I sleep outside her door at night,
My nose against the crack,
Sometimes her footsteps come my way,
I sigh when they turn baack,

We go for walks, and romp and play,
I carry sticks and stones
To make her laugh, and often I
Bring her my choicest boes,

Sometimes I soil her dainty dress
With my wet, muddy paws,
But I've stopped chasing neighbor's cats,
She cannot bear to have things hurt,

Everytime I come across one of your post I have to stop and read it. I think you are one of the sweetest people on earth. May God bless you

I love you too!

I think love is one of the greatest gifts-besides having Jesus walking with us.
Oh of course that is why we love-He is with us.

I am happy to be here!!!

I forgot I didn't finish my poem.
I went to get a chocolate- shhhhh, don't tell my husband or I'll have to exercise again.
Here is the rest of the poem

That time I caught a baby bird,
And bit it, and it died!

I've often heard her say that life
Was learning how to love,
And those who've learned it best will reap
The most rewards above;

AND SO i hope that when I go
With her up to the gate,
I'll not be left alone outside,
To wait and wait and wiat,

For don't you think, since all my life
Is just spent loving her,
They'll let me through the gate although
I'm just a common cur?

Rosie- That's wonderful! Is it an original? I'm guessing it is...... you are very talented!
RosielovesJesus
Oh I'm original alright LOL!!
I don't think I have much talent, but I sure do like to write.

Don't forget we are all original. Isn't that wonderful we are all
made special by our Father God.

Thanks Marta!!
RosielovesJesus
luv4all. I love your screen name. It is very appropriate for you. Thanks for the compliment. You radiate Christ's love on this board.

You are sweet!

I'd love to read more of your poetry
(Hint, hint, hint....... wink.gif )
RosielovesJesus
I didn't really answer your question yet.
I love to write but I am not great in poetry.
I did not write that one. It is from one of my
favourite books called742 Heart-Warming Poems

Believe me if I wrote one you would really know it
because you would probably say to yourself huh what was
that??

I meant I didn't finish my poem I was copying out of a book
because I went and got a chocolate. Now I can't tell a lie
and take credit for that poem. The 10 commandments is starring
me right in the eye from my poster on the wall and of course you
know the one jumping out right now
Thou shalt not lie

Lord I hear you. Thanks for helping me explain it.
I do have two toy poodles a tiny teacup white female
and a red toy poodle male. I was thinking of them and how
much joy all of God's creatures can give you and then I found
this poem about a dog's love.
RosielovesJesus
But I still like to send encouraging poems even if I didn't write them. If that is o.k to do sometime. I do find them uplifiting and are just what is needed at times.

I surely will let you know if it is one I wrote-so you can decide whether you
want to waste your time on reading it LOL!!

Have a great evening!!
