Full Version: I Have A Confession To Make
Christian-Forum.net > General discussion > What do you say?

I think some of you noticed that my topics are not so pleasant. I mentioned this in my introduction but I would like to repeat in case some of you did not read it.

Everything I post here is my convictions that I learned since I became Christian 6 years ago. I believe the Lord wants me to use my experience to expose the truth I learned. I believe what is going on in the Christitian community is not so pretty in general. (both Catholics and Protestants.)

I don't want to be a party pooper but I believe Jesus wants us to be truthful in every aspect of our lives in His teaching. And I believe most of the spiritual leaders and churches are neglecting to do it. So I am doing what the Lord wants me to do.

In Jesus name,
Gingercat

gingercat,
Grace to you through the LORD Jesus Christ.

God bless you. You are Faithful with what Jesus has given you so you can expect
much more.
It is a very important principal of growing in Jesus. If you want more of Him you
must be Faithful with what He has given you.
It's not always popular but we're not here to be in a popularity contest. We're here
to serve Jesus. Beware of those that promote themselves rather than Jesus with
their flowery words and flattering tongues. Very deceitful.

you wrote..

Alot of the spiritual leaders are just like the worldly politicians. They love the high seats and the power. It's selfish self promotion..not promotion of what's right.
Keep doing what Jesus wants you to do. You have my support.

Peace, Tom

Oh, I agree completely, Gingercat. Most people in the churches bear the name "christian" in word only and their actions are a bold witness to just the opposite. It's been like this since the beginning of time (church history is full of atrocities like the Spanish Inquisition, etc-- all done in the name of "God".) However, this will get worse as time goes on. The dispicable actions of the majority does not make the faith of the minority a lie. Those of us who have true saving faith must shine our lights and set ourselves apart from all the hypocrisy.

Because the tone of the post takes a turn for the worst, and then the party's over!

When you delete something that reflects a persons true nature what does it benefit?
(I think Jeep knows this blush.gif )

I expressed outrage over something l deemed hideious. I've only expressed myself in this way a couple of times on this forum since l've been here in 03 and the one you deleted was worthy of a table turning event. I didn't get back to read the replies before you took it off.

I'm not mad (well sort of) just justifying myself.
I wonder what my Pastor would say? huh.gif blush.gif excl.gif blink.gif

Hi everyone,

I have decided to leave this CF. Thank your for letting me put some of my convictions what I have learned. (I have much much more biggrin.gif ) I have been spreading my convictions everywhere I go. I will be in deep trouble if what I am doing is a lie and evil. I believe God is supporting me because He is continually working in me and my family's lives. He is continually giving us joy and peace no matter what this world gives us.

I believe Christian community can do much better if God is with us. This country is so big and we have such a big Christian community. Free countries are materialy blessed but if we don't use it for His purpose it becomes curse instead.

In a nut shell, we are lucking wholehearted committment (tottal committment) for Him. That's the botom line of the cause of disaster. We have been praying for spiritual revival. It's not changing but it's getting worse instead. But I do my part no matter what. ( I hope this get posted.)

In Jesus love
