Full Version: Needing Prayers Regarding A Job...

Hi...I always have a struggle when writing a new post (responding though I'm OK with)...hope you'll be patient with me as I'm not really used to doing it yet.

First of all, I want to say that I hope everyone here had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving....that it went well and that the time was a real blessing for you and yours. I apologize that it's been a few days since I was here, but between school commitments (both my own and helping out with some things at my little one's school for Thanksgiving), looking for a job and things at the house, it's been a bit hectic.

I'm writing today to ask for continued prayer that the Lord will help me to find a job..and soon. Things are becoming rather critical and while I know God will provide, I also know that Jesus tells us that agreement in prayers with other brothers and sisters in Him brings results. I've sold just about everything that I have that's of any value...I've put out all kinds of applications and sent out resumes...and I feel like I'm at the end of my rope. Plus, I have to say that when I've came here, asking for prayer in the past, it has made a GREAT difference...not always in big ways, but in the strength, encouragement and support that they've blessed me with. So if you would all please pray that God'll help me find something or help me with my bill collectors, I would really appreciate it!
Thanks!!!

Love in Him!!!!

Selene,

Thank you for your post and hoping you had a nice Thanksgiving as well.

I will be keeping you in my prayers that a job will be found soon. I pray you find favor with all those you sent resumes to and that the phone will be ringing all week with offers so many that you will not be able to contain the joy!

All this I ask and pray fervently in the name of our Dear Lord Jesus!
Amen

Dear heavenly Father,

I pray that you help Selene find a job that glorifys you. We know that we feel insecure when we don't have a job especially if our family depending on us. You give her patience, courage and strength to go through this difficult time.

In Jesus name

Thank you for joining with me in prayer! I so love this site...even though we're all stationed all over the world, I can feel in my spirit God's presence here! And being able to connect with other brothers and sisters in the Lord is such a help!

You so hit the nail on the head...in His eyes I know I'm not a failure but the world has a knack of making you feel so lousy when going through this kind of situation...and Satan has a way of trying to put all kinds of fears in your head (often using bill collectors to stir them up even more!)...thank you for your prayers!!!!
