My dear little brother,

Over the years, I too had some problems figuring this out. But one day I came to the realization that all we have we have in Him. Using your example in praying for healing...we can pray in faith and know that we are healed according to His Word...God assures us that "He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our inquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed." (Isa 53:5). Whether He chooses for this to be here on earth or in Heaven is His choice, but regardless we know that we do have it because He is our Father and we are His children. I once heard a saying...God's delays are not necessarily God's denials...His timing and His plans for us and for the things which occur in our lives, we don't always know them ...or the reasons for things going as they do...but He knows and His ways are perfect!!!

There's a Scripture in Romans that has been such a source of help to me... Romans 8: 18-39...it says it all!!!

I don't know if this helps any...but it's what's always helped me. God bless you my brother!!!

Love in Him!!!
