HEY!

Yep...tis me. smile.gif

See the warm welcome your're getting? I told you this was a nice place to come to. smile.gif

And I've just finished the last cup of coffee from the pot I made this morning. Lets see....I think that has been about ten cups of strong coffee today. No decaf for this girl. wink.gif And its time to go make another pot of coffee.

So we meet again. Good to see old time "faces" again smile.gif

Yes, it feels very warm around this forum, Thanks for the invite

Between your studies and your decaf, you might want to check this site out

See you around

Toda.

Here is another one that an Orthodox guy I talk to told me about yesterday.

http://www.icejusa.org/site/PageServer

Know these guys?

Lord willing...I am thinking next summer to come. I can take a break in the summer from classes...but I pray that I could get away for a little time with work.

Outside of Jerusalem and some other key sites....I want to see Tzfat.

The picture in my profile is a picture of Tzfat.

It is the highest point in Israel from what I've read. I love the old look of the town from what I have seen in pictures.

Its also the Kabbalah center as you well know. But that is not why I'm wanting to go.

I just want to see it.

I've also read that the valley of Meggido is below the city. Is this true?

No I don't know anyone to do with this site . Sorry

Tzfat is just up the hill from where I live. We go there a lot. The old city of Tzfat is very picturesque and almost looks like it was created for photographers.
It's great just strolling the old city streets. Unfortunatly I know Tzfat mainly through the hospital. I used to go there often as an ambulance driver/medic

I don't know that it's the highest point. Probably the highest town. It is high and usually has snow several times in winter.

Yes, it was, and probably still is the Kabalah center. Jewish Mysticism which I studied for a while but it's not my cup-of-tea

The valley of Meggido is quite a ways south of Tzfat, about an hours drive I would say.

Chloe, if/when you get to Israel and especially Tzfat, you're right in my back yard so I hope to see you.
We have met 3 forum people, one even stayed over the night. It gives another dimention to forums

I must thank you again for telling me about this forum. Very good feeling so far smile.gif

God bless

Your very welcome brother.

It is a pleasure to have you join this forum. And there are a few people I intend on seeing when/if I get there.

But I hope you know....you are actually on the top of my list. smile.gif

I would like to take you up on your offer to show me around....and definately go to Tzfat. It looks so pretty.

And I'd like to go see that river that is near by your home also. The Jordan river?

You know what I have always wanted to do? Get baptised again in one of those rivers in Israel.

Just one of those things that is on my "to do" list in life if I get the chance.

Only the Lord knows. As I said....it would have to pretty much drop in my lap at this point for me to go.

Shalom brother.

And may God protect and be with you and your family and everyone in Israel.

Well Chloe,
The offer is real and standing, just tell us when. It's no big deal for God to drop this in your lap if He so wishes.
Tzfat is right up the hill from us.
The Jordan river is in our back yard
You can get baptized anywhere in the river, the lake of Galilee or at the Southern end of the Kinneret where it is assumed, John did His baptizing
That is where I was baptized with my daughter, back when......

Meanwhile praying can't hurt, can it? smile.gif
Descendant_of_Darkness
Umm... I guess that since I can't start a topic until after 2 posts, I should introduce myself here...
Here goes:

I'm Descendant_of_Darkness. In case you're wondering about my name, rest assured. I'm not Satanic or anything (I just thought the name sounded cool biggrin.gif). But yeah, I'm a Christian, I love to read, write, and play the piano (a little). Phantom of the Opera is my obsession! I absolutely love the book and the musical, and I'm trying to see/read as many adaptions as I can. I am politically neutral (in other words, I no longer claim any party).

Well, that's all I can really think to say about myself. I'm sure I'll enjoy meeting all of you. smile.gif
Latter Rain Adam
Welcome Descent of Darkness. I hope you can become more of a ascended to the Father type of name someday, Lol. Interesting name, I am Ellie, spelled Eli. Nice to meet you. I will change myname to flashlight to help you out someday. biggrin.gif

Hello Descent in Darkness...

I'm like Eli...

Perhaps I'll change my name to lamplight so I can help show you the way to Yeshua (and out of the darkness where we do not want to descend).

Welcome to the forum.

Shalom lovers of our Lord Jesus Christ. I decided to join for a number of reasons, mainly because I'm home a lot, so therefore I have time to spend and what better way to spend it than freely giving to those of the body of Christ! I read the Bible all the time and I know the Lord has given me much, which means much will be required and I happily accept that road, whatever road He so chooses.

I am eager also to learn from you. I believe our God is intimate and has made it this way through His Word/Bible, so there are passages within His Word He has me concentrated on *for His reason* and perhaps He has you somewhere else, so together we make the perfect harmony of The Body or Church/Bride.

I have been very blessed with His name Yahshua and so I prefer to call Him this name, knowing it is the pure Hebrew name (various spellings) of our Creator. But I read from the KJV and quote from there as well; so I keep it just how it is written therein smile.gif

I believe we are nearing the end of this cruel world system which is at complete emnity with Yahshua, but I know that before "it is finished" there is one BIG climatic moment for the enemy and it will no doubt be very difficult for those of us who believe in God's Word and stand with Him no matter what; it will be the enemies last stance to deceive and as The Bible say's "Satan knows his time is short" and when a person knows their time is short, they do some pretty far out things, so expect that in the final moments prior to our KING's Arrival! Halleluyah!

I should confess also I believe Jesus Christ came in the flesh; born of a virgin, conceived of the Holy Spirit, crucified and resurrected and ascended at the right hand of God (Authority) But do not be deceived, even the "false believers" can confess this to a certain degree, so tests all spirits to see if they are in fact of and from God, I will not be offended by any of your queries pertaining to me and my belief. And I have a little...or a medium size story/situation to share with you at a later time about my confrontation with a false believer; even I was nearly deceived had I not continued to test and seek the council of Yahshua...so it is TOUGH even now, and remember this, our struggle is not with John, Sally or Tom, it is not flesh we struggle with, it is principalities and powers and rulers of this very dark world. And also Paul states that it is no marvel that Satan himself is transformed in an angel of light, Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. ( 2 Corinth 11:14-15)

Whew! OK so that's me I suppose; but I'm just thankful that our Lord is ever increasing in me as I decrease out of this corruptable flesh/body. Guess I'll just have to read more to get to know you all and share more so we can get to know eachother better...and provided we still have pc/internet access I do hope we can help oneanother gear up for what is surely coming, until we meet eachother in the streets and then in the clouds, I pray for the Body of Messiah that we will be faithful unto the end and strengthened in His Word more and more and able to speak and defend the Biblical attacks from the enemies. Much love and grace to you all. ~Selah

Thank you and Shalom; I too really enjoy Selah's music although I chose this name or 'it' chose me several months back as I was reading King David's Psalms I noticed He would say "Selah" often and I just thought, wow I have no idea what that means but it sounds beautiful! So thank you King David! And I too am so excited about finding this site and meeting all of you that I'm still awake at 1:45 AM LOL!

Wow, I have never seen that video! It was both heartwrenching and uplifting!! Thank you so much. I always think of those in Ethiopia as becoming some of the greatest in The Kingdom because they've endured so much their whole lives here...much love and I think I'm off to bed now. Blessings in Yahshua's Magnificant Holy Name and G'night.

Hello. I'm Jason from Richland, PA. I've been a christian since I was five, and attended church all my life & grew up in a Christian family.

Recently I've felt God leading me to start a website on the Internet to help Christians study the bible, and share the message of Christ. I've started the website BibleWiki: http://biblewiki.us . It's using the same software as wikipedia, so it should be familiar to anyone who's ever worked on wikipedia. I'd be glad if anyone would check it out and contribute an article, or pray for the site.
