Hello to all:

I am new and I have never joined one of these forums so I am pretty much a novice also on the computer. I thought I would break the ice by just going ahead and jumping in head first!!! I live in Florida and have all grown children and six wonderful grandchildren that keep me very busy. I love the Lord and have been saved for about half of my life. I am in my 50's and going to Bible college. Just wanted to say hello to everyone.

Blessings,

Jura04

Hello and Welcome and be blessed while you are here! smile.gif

Don't let some of the topics of the week turn you out. We have our seasons. And basically we all are a team! smile.gif

Hugs and enjoy! smile.gif

Hiya
I'm not too keen on using my real name lol, its unusual and my anti-Christian brother has stalked online me before! Nothing bad but I would rather be incognito.
I am married to Little Faith, he isn't really of little faith, I have no idea why he chose that name.
I found the bible code forum after a bit of a spiritual trek and some prayer.
We are in Perth Australia, with 3 gorgeous kids. 1dsz5e4.gif

Welcome Bessie and may you be blessed here! Another Australian!!! Pinky is too and Damo7... you should have lots of friends here in no time! God bless you!!! I'll bet your kids are just sweetie pies! wink.gif

Hi everyone. I'm Julian from Malaysia. Hope everyone's fine and enjoying another day with the Lord. Does it take time to screen new members of the forum? Have some things to ask you guys. things that made me feel so low and useless in relating what believing in Jesus means.

Cheers!
IrishRose
Oh Julian... welcome!!! I am so happy you are here... I don't think it takes too long. You just have a to post a few times and start a topic or two (they will moderate them) and when they see you have come in peace, then you will be a certified member!!! In the meanwhile, you can always ask questions on the topics... you are allowed to post after your email is validated! Welcome and I pray you will enjoy your time here... Don't ever feel low, the Lord is with you ALWAYS! Be blessed, and feel free to ask questions. Don't know if you can PM (use the personal messenger yet), but you can always post a new topic and people will answer your questions. Just go to a forum and at the right it says start new topic.. then ask away! We're here!

Have a great day!

Hello, I am new here but hope to get more education about God and His Love. I have been around for a while (don't ask haha), and I am looking to make some friends as well as fellowship.

I love to be with my grandchildren and to enjoy what God has given me. I am a grandma of 2 beautiful girls and I garden in my spare time.

I look forward to meeting you. I thank the Lord for what He has done for me!

Scars,

I look forward in getting to know you. Many people on this forum and some posters you will feel closer with than other posters...and that's okay!

I look forward to reading your posts and learning from you. All of us have life experiences that we can bring to the table in which we can discuss. Sometimes we are teachers and sometimes we are students.

journey
Hello everyone! My name is journey, because I am on a journey with my Lord and Savior. I am on quite a few forums. I came across this one and decided to give it a try.

I love to discuss the Bible , I am seeking His face! I do not get offended if anyone disagrees with me, but I also am not easily persuaded without backing up everything in scriptures. God is in the process of delivering me from man-made religions and I do not want to be entangled with them again. I love my Lord with all my heart...I love to talk about Him and His word (which I believe to be one and the same).

I do not remember a time in my life that I did not know about God. I was raised in church all my life, I accepted Jesus as my Savior at 9 yrs. old. but since then my spiritual growth has been slow. As I stated I was filled with man made doctrines and now I am seeking truth...my teacher being the Holy Spirit. He has filled me and I am learning to walk with Him/in Him.

I look forward to sharing!!!

Ogmios
Hello everyone on this forum...... I am very interested in Bible Codes and have no idea to how to read them. However if anyone does have the ability to do so I think the should look for the names Ogmios..........and ThreePeace. I am not sure what part of this forum I should post this in. So hopefully someone can help me out. I watched a show where it said the future was hard to tell because we don't know what it is. I believe Ogmios and ThreePeace are a part of it. Can anyone let me know if these terms are found anywhere in the Bible Codes for the future. Thank you!

Hi Ogmios,

I think you need to speak to Shekel - he is the expert on bible codes.

I think you can pretty well find any name using "bible codes" because there is a massive amount of ways you can shuffle the maxrices to get there so I'm sure you could find Ogmios and ThreePeace if you looked for them. You can buy a computer package off the internet that will do this for you for about $30, but I don't think it has any real significance as you can probably find these names in most longish texts applying the same computer method.

I think Shekel has found some quite different codes, but I don't really understand it so best ask Shekel

Languages never was my strong point smile.gif

Hey all!

My name is Ian, and I am still in high school (guess that makes me part of the younger crowd here), and I live in Aiken, South Carolina. I always enjoy serious conversations about my faith with other believers, and this forum looks like a good place for that.

My goal here is to learn more about God and grow closer to Him.

I guess that is about it for now, I will share my testimony later.
HeIsFaithful
Welcome, igarrett!

there IS alot to learn here.. pray for discernment when reading..
but most important.. develop your relationship with the Lord thru prayer
and His Word.. HE is sooooo wonderfully Faithful.. and loves us
more than we could imagine!

I am sooo blessed by young ones like you who care to know the Lord!

And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Hello all:

I thought I would start an introduction thread since there have been so many new people! It has been exciting seeing this discussion board grow and listening and learning from every new person on here!

It seems a lot of times so many people check out the board, but don't join or post? I feel that we should get to know each other and learn from one another! Whaddya say? huh.gif

So....I'll start, I am 31, female, divorced, born in Texas and currently live in Indianapolis.

You? cool.gif

Hello one and all, I am new here, I think, the site's format is so familiar to me, anyway I am a Christian and I am living in the New York City aria and I have been a Christian since 1985. I am looking forward to reading some of the post on this board, and I will be posting a few myself. I would like to say that I don’t like to get into seemingly endless arguments/debates, so if there is something that I say there is disagreement(s), I generally allow the other person to have the last word, since I am not here to force what I have to say down anyone throat….I let it rest after I have responded as best I can. I also don’t take disagreements personally because it does not affect my salvation one way or the other.

So all the best to everyone, and I hope we can be Christlike towards each other.
Remembrance
Hi BFSmith,

I just answered one of your posts and happy you are here. I don't like disagreements either. I find there are some that like to do that here, but I have learned even on the first day what posts to steer away from. The Lord bless you today.

Hello All!

My name is Dee. I live in North Carolina, but originally came from CA. I have been one of the quiet ones, just reading and trying to see if this was a place that could help me grow. I have two children...grown, boys. I am divorced. I am 39 years old. I came to this site after listening to one of Chuck Missler's lessons on Bible Codes. It seemed strange to me and I never accept anything I am told without research. That brought me to Shekels bible code website and then here. I must say that this has been an enjoyable experience. I do not believe anything happens by chance and I know without a doubt that the Lord has sent me here. Just a side note, when I Googled bible codes, Shekels site was the first one I picked after looking at several pages. The Holy Spirit was/is leading.

Love to All!!
Dee
Looking Up
Hello, and thanks for the welcome.

I am 41 and married with 6 children, 5 of them teenagers (God help me). We're what you call a "blended family."

Anyway I live in Florida (so I consider praying about hurricanes part of my job description, ha!). I was born and raised in Germany and have been in the States since 1989. And have been born again since 1992.

I'm still trying to find my way around. And trying to not get discouraged by all the "heated discussions." So, like BF, I'm trying to just leave well enough alone after I've posted something I had on my heart, and leave it at that. I'm not here to convince anyone of my personal opinions or views. I'm satisfied if I've made someone think a little bit, and I enjoy reading responses that make me think and pray and draw closer to God so I can get a better understanding of how God wants us to do things.

I've never gotten into Bible codes, and so a lot of what is said confuses me a lot. I'm not sure if it's a subject I want to know more about. Oh well, as the Lord leads.

An example; After many years as a Christian, I was strickened with a health issue about 2 plus years ago.
Today, someone made an intercession for me, for healing and understanding. I thank God for her. She is on this thread.

By the way, your scripture of Isaiah is also the daily scripture I live by.
May God Bless you and your family.

See the warm welcome your're getting? I told you this was a nice place to come to. smile.gif

And yes, I think it would be very nice to have your personal view and news on what is happening there.

I get the medias perspective all the time from here. But then you talk to someone from a particular nation and you get a different take on whats happening.

Well its going on 4:30 in the morning and I have not been to bed yet. I just have to get this paper done. Its bothering me.

And I've just finished the last cup of coffee from the pot I made this morning. Lets see....I think that has been about ten cups of strong coffee today. No decaf for this girl. wink.gif And its time to go make another pot of coffee.

Today is going to be an awesome day....I can already tell.
