Hi all! biggrin.gif

It is great to have the opportunity to be able to get to know all of you.

I am 23, a single SAH mum of two small children (Jacob almost four, and Imogen, almost three). I am born-again, and I am a member of Christ Embassy (Gold Coast Australia Chapter).

I am a vital and active participant in the ministry, and love to talk about Jesus. I love reading, dancing (tho I am not so good at it, lol), going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.

hmm.... what else?? I am Australian, I love God, and I love life.

Hope to hear from u all around the 'boards.

Take care, God bless

Welcome AngieMama, and may God bless you!

Hi,

I have been lurking here for a few months and have been so blessed by the truth and the fruit of the Holy Spirit that is evident here among you!

My name is Nikkoly (Nicole-ee). We live near Seattle, WA. I stay at home and hubby is a firefighter in Seattle.
My dad met Jesus at a coffee shop in Cali., and told me about him when I was a kid.
I found HIM prior to my Senior year in High School in 1988 at a drillteam camp.
I stopped compromising and really chose to follow HIM when I went to college in 1989.
I went to a shehpherding church that controlled my life while I was in college until Jesus set me free in 1993-thank YOU JESUS!
I married my high school sweetie in 1994.
I taught grade school in the public and private sectors for six years.
We have five daughters total. The oldest is his from a previous marriage.
I homeschool four of them.
WE left the institutional church in 2002 and have been growing up and being refined here in the wilderness.
Our kingdom made of sand was thankfully blown away in Aug. 2006. We found the peace that only Jesus can give. He gives and takes away yet will we praise HIM>
We have a few wonderful people in our lives that are like minded and we are thankful for them!

We are waiting on HIM, learning to pray, learning to obey, learning to be led by the Spirit, learning to test the fruit and spirits of those around us, learning to HEAR HIS VOICE ALONE, learning, learning, learning....we used to think we knew so much, but have found that all we truly know is that HE came, HE died, He rose again, HE is coming back! WE are learning to love not our lives even unto death. We know our flesh stinks, so we hope it will burn away quickly. rolleyes.gif

I am glad to be here.

Hi Jouko, and welcome. Write wherever you like! biggrin.gif
You might start in the "How you became a Christian" area, but anywhere is fine. Jump in and enjoy. smile.gif
Piho
But I cannot write anywhere I like.
I would like to post in prophecy section, but I cannot. There will be a message that I have no permission to write there.
Then I read the rules and I understood that I must first make 2 postings in some Newbie group. But I could not find any such group.
I know that I may reply everywhere, but how could I make a new post whre I want without that message that I am not allowed to do that.

Oh yeah. The admin. will let you post something new after your first few replies anywhere on the forum. At least that's how it worked when I joined. I think it might take a day or two. I forget. I don't believe there is a "newbie" area to reply in. Anwhere you like is fine. Admin will see it. biggrin.gif

See you all out in the forum.

I have just joined the forum. It is good to be in a place where fellow Christians meet and are hungry for the Word.

Yesterday I was doing a Google search and found a discussion here about the Bible Wheel. I had some time to register today and now expect to participate in the discussions of interest. Now I'm heading to the Bible Wheel discussion! wink.gif

It seems a lot of times so many people check out the board, but don't join or post? I feel that we should get to know each other and learn from one another! Whaddya say? huh.gif

So....I'll start, I am 31, female, divorced, born in Texas and currently live in Indianapolis.

Hi everyone, I am new here. You can call me "Fere".

I am married with two boys, ages 3 and 9. I will get on here as much as I can to learn from all of you, but with a little guy (my 3-year-old), it is sometimes hard to find the time. I would tell you my age, but I am at the age when we begin to not like to tell. wink.gif I currently live in Indiana. (I have lived in several states - Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee & Georgia).

I look forward to getting to know you and learn from you. I was really excited when I found this site, it is exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for a Christian-based forum, so I can be with those who have similar views to myself. Before I came here, I was in another forum that had too many religious views (and even some anti-religious views) so I decided to leave.

From what I have seen here so far, this looks like a great place for me to be. biggrin.gif

Oppsie i forgot to say hi earlier.....

Hi everyone!

I'm 19 turning 20 in August, the big 2 0 woo!
I work in childcare, always dreamed of having 101 kids.
Never knew God, or heard much about Jesus for most my life.
Lived a party lifestyle, but something was always misssing....

Then i found God and it all made sense, and life is great now! Even if my friends do think i've become a weirdo because i don't want to drink, smoke, have sex with randoms anymore.

Well i'm just so glad i found Jesus, and here to just talk about what i know, and discover more from others who have found God too.
I've been here for a week or two, and it's really nice here, alot of open minded peeps, i love it! It's like having ears all over the world, with everyone speaking about what's going on.

Well it sure is a good time to be alive, lots of action worldwide, a great test i think, so i can show God he made a good choice in saving me =]

God Bless! smile.gif

I think this is the new people intro thread so I guess I should post here first. Not sure what to say about myself. I'm a dual US/UK citizen currently living in England with my husband and 2 sons at home, one in Uni and a daughter out and about in the world. I in my teens fell out not so much with God but more with organised religion due to reasons I won't go into here. I have still not found a church which is a bone of contention between my sister and I, but thankfully not a huge one! I have moved around quite alot in my life and am currently contemplating a move back to the states as my sons have never seen a firefly before nor heard crickets at night. Strange the things we take for granted sometimes don't you think? Anyway I guess I will get stuck in, I have alot of questions probably so I ask for your patience in advance. blush.gif

Oh My God, a lot of new people on the forum! Welcome to all, may your stay here be as pleasant as mine, and there will not be a bone of contention between brother and sister, like it is in heaven.

Malangel, you don't have crickets in England? I love the sound of crickets on a warm and lazy night. I also enjoy falling asleep to the sounds of the crickets.

Peace be with all of you.

There are crickets but for some reason they do not sing the way they do in the states. Even when we lived in Wales we did not hear them at night though we could hear the sheep on the hillsides. I miss the sound of crickets smile.gif
