Someone that is new to the forum lets give them a welcome like the one we would want when we started here.

Kim..
Since your post was directly after my
welcome to Maz I was just wondering if your words were directed at me?
I hope not but since you weren't clear as to who they were directed at and since
they were posted right after my post I feel as though they were directed at me.
If I'm wrong, please let me know. If I'm right then please explain why you feel
my post was out of line.
It is best to just come right out and reprove who you think needs reproving and then state why. That way no one has to read between the lines and no one will
mistake your intents.
As for my post to Maz..let's see how he responds. I have a hunch he and I are
ONE in the Holy Spirit but like the Word says..test the spirits.
Kim, I'll be looking forward to reading your reply.
Maz..I'll be looking forward to reading yours also.
Peace, Tom

Hi Tomcat
What I posted is for everyone who thinks the words were directed at them.
When a person walks in to our place of fellowship lets welcome them the way we would want to be welcome.
My first time here I was unsure and alittle afraid to post anything but thank to the wonerful people here I felt so welcome.
I would like to say thank you to so many here for making me feel welcomed. Marta, Dennis,Bz, oh my goodness I cant even begin to start with name because there are som many so I'll just say a big THANK YOU for treating me so nice and making me feel so welcome.

How did I not make Maz feel welcome? My first words to him were..
"Welcome to the forum."If you have a problem with me or any of my posts then please don't beat around
the bush. Come right out and address me
state your concerns and why and let's go from there. I did not say anything disrespectful to Maz.
He wrote..
"I am a "Word" man (Jesus is the word Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ) so let us sharpen our swords together! Pro 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend."In case you didn't understand what he was saying by quoting Pro.27:17 and saying,
"so let us sharpen our swords together!"..
He was inviting likeminded brethren to reason in the scriptures. I found that very
bold and refreshing. He certainly is not
"unsure and a little afraid to post".
I am a "Word man" also and like the scripture he quoted (Proverbs 27:17) Iron
sharpens Iron.
I also wrote to him..
"I look forward to having 27:17 fulfilled in my life with you. Please expect the same
and may the LORD Jesus be glorified in all of our communication."There are many different parts and callings in the body of Christ. Maz approached
this forum as a Word warrior. I not only respect that but I
"WELCOME" such
brethren.
To portray me as anyone not welcoming someone to this forum is wrong. If I had
come here for the first time and posted what he did and then got a response such
as I gave him I would be elated. He will be also.
And like I wrote to you, Kim..
"As for my post to Maz..let's see how he responds. I have a hunch he and I are
ONE in the Holy Spirit but like the Word says..test the spirits."Let's see how he responds. I think he and I are going to get along just fine.
Peace, Tom
