Hi Peeps
My name is Tim and of course I'm a newb as you may have guessed. I live in Maine am 42, married, and feel that People here are sincere in what they believe and post in these forums. I do however feel confused and a bit overwhelmed by all the views and beliefs of all you people. I dont want to rub anyones fur the wrong way but history is full of well meaning do gooders that only quote the lord in the best way that serves their purpose and discard the rest as irelevant. wacko.gif

Hi shekel

Yes it was my post that you answered and thank you and others for the replys.

I posted intro to be part of something I believe the LORD has led me to. I'm a

young christian and have lots of questians but the LORD answers them all,

sometimes right away. It reallys blows me away how HE does that but also gives

me comfort.

1Jo 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that would lead you astray.
1Jo 2:27 And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any one teach you; but as his anointing teacheth you; concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye abide in him. smile.gif

smile.gif Hello, my name is Terri. I am married to a wonderful man, have 2 energetic and healthy little boys which I love beyond description.
I was just looking for information about current events and Revelation. A lot of the sites are just trying to make the all-mighty dollar ( laugh.gif  which is silly if this really is the endtimes). I just happened to find this site which had many interesting topics and discussion groups.
The discussion about parents and their children having government control over medications, treatment and evaluations is downright scary.
I'll be sticking with your website for further info and discussions.  You guys are awesome.

Welcome Terri!

Yes, you will find this to be a safe and kind forum to discuss things with. We don't always agree, but the joy is in discussing things. And if one does not have the love to listen to their brother on a subject than that one lacks sound doctrine, for sound doctrine is more than a creed, it is action!

1Ti 6:3 If any man teacheth a different doctrine, and consenteth not to sound words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
1Ti 6:4 he is puffed up, knowing nothing, but doting about questionings and disputes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
1Ti 6:5 wranglings of men corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, supposing that godliness is a way of gain.
1Ti 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain:
1Ti 6:7 for we brought nothing into the world, for neither can we carry anything out;
1Ti 6:8 but having food and covering we shall be therewith content.
1Ti 6:9 But they that are minded to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and hurtful lusts, such as drown men in destruction and perdition.
1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

And unto man [God] said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. (Job 28:28)

Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding. (Pr 3:13

And my [Paul's] speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (1Co 2:4-5)

I applied my [Solomon] heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness: (Ec 7:25)

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. (1Co 1:18-21)

Know you not that you [faithful] are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man defiles the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness. (1Co 3:16-19)

I will declare the decree: the LORD has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you. Ask of me, and I shall give you the nations for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O you kings: be instructed, you judges of the earth. (Ps 2:7-10)

Hi Everybody!!!
My name's Kenya and I've been coming to this forum for the past week or two. I must say, I am VERY pleased with what I've witnessed here. I commend all of GOD's children who gather here on your faith, courage, kindness, love, well the list could go on. Finally, I've found a place where GOD's Word and Will is discussed BOLDLY, tempered with love and kindness. May GOD bless all of you who stand on HIS side.

I publicly confessed Jesus as my Lord and Savior on Jan. 13, 1991, but all of my life I've been drawn to HIM. From dreams to hearing HIS voice...I feel honored that GOD heard my call and pitied me. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

I'm a newly wed and we are proud "parents" of a little black ball of kitten energy named 'Gypsy.' While my husband was raised Catholic and I was raised Protestant, GOD blessed us in that this has not been any issue. From the time we got married we've been attending my church (he moved here from California) and we've continued to grow together but more importantly, in GOD.

I look forward to chatting with everyone.

GOD Bless!!!

Hi, all! I am new and feel blessed to have been guided to this site. I, too, came from the Bible Codes website. I was saved when I was 12 but did not become wise enough to use all that He has given us for many years. I am a Prodigal daughter, but He welcomed me home. I have been a career driven lady in the past but God called on me to make a choice, what the world liked or what He wanted for me. I made the best choice. I have been drawing nearer to the Lord ever since! I am married to a wonderful man for four years now and we have four children and four grandchildren. My husband came from a Roman Catholic backround but accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and chose to find a shepherd that feeds his sheep. We pray for the balance of our families that have not found salvation, yet. I know that God will not let one be lost. We are currently ungoing training for deliverance ministry. Boy, does the evil one attack when you get serious about warfare! But, bless God, we are blessed and find everything we need in our Lord. biggrin.gif

All I can say is Jesus, you are my love and I am glad to meet these people that you love, too! I hope to speak with you all!

Ok, I thought it would be nice, after my heated entry onto this forum to explain a bit about me.
I live in sunny old Devon wink.gif in the UK. I once was a Christian, I found faith while at a Christian camp in Tintagel. But, soon after becoming a Christian I began to feel that this religion is as full of lies, opinions and arrogance as the rest of the world, so I renounced my faith in Christianity. I feel I then found out more about God, faith, and who I am after I had done this, I tried to listen to all sides of the argument, and continued to go to camp for quite a few years after. But I always felt that I could learn more, both mentally and spiritually, if I was not a Christian, and I found that I did learn more.
I have many reasons for the way I am, and I don't hate Christians as everyone has a right to choose who they want to be, and even the most arrogant or stupid of people can still have a good heart and can still teach you things.
I do believe in God, all though I am reluctant to call it that because people tend to have preconceived ideas about what God is, but I do not believe that the bible is his word or that Jesus was his son.
Anyway, quick story over and from now on I will try to be a bit more civilised smile.gif

Hi Sriontoc,

Are sure you were ever a Christian? A Christian is one who believes and follows Jesus Christ. There is no other way to God Almighty but the Lord Jesus Christ. There are many gods in this world but only one who is Almighty, Creator of the heavens and the Earth and giver of Life. Moreover, Christianity viewed as a world religion is not the same as the practice of true Christianity as a way of life in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

You better believe this. No one ever meets the Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God and one with God, Savior of mankind, Redeemer and Friend and remains the same thereafter.

You are yet to meet Jesus Christ my friend! That you made this post at all is a cry of the heart. May the Lord Jesus manifest Himself to you as only Him can do. Amen.

Love in Christ.

Hi Folks!

Was only recently prompted to open this introductions site. I think it is a wonderful initiative. For what its worth, here is my intro.

- Born in Nigeria on April 2, 1962 of now deceased parents.
- Have several degrees; including a doctorate in economics.
- Never been married; but all my siblings have! Never believed in marriage for the sake of marriage or in order to have children or to cure loneliness! Marriage to my mind is a union of man and woman with God. This strong conviction has stubbornly stuck in my mind for 20 years; ever since my mother of blessed memory, started pestering me about being the only child yet to provide her with grandchildren. Alas, I am still living with this strong conviction and is yet to come across such union for myself. Not to worry, I do not lose much sleep over it; not since my now deceased mother is no longer around to pester me. After all, I am a peculiar nation! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
- Have no children; but all my siblings have. I tell ya, I get enough stress looking after my numerous nephews and nieces from time to time!
- Currently stationed in Freetown – Sierra Leone.
- Loved God and the things of God since I can remember.
- Got first prize for bible knowledge at my high school graduation; but was not really committed until the Lord put me through a decade of refining by fire, shortly after earning my doctorate degree!
- Now I understand better who God is. I know God is Love and that He loves me dearly. But He is tough Love and I now make no mistake about it.
- GOD SPARES NO PUNCHES; ESPECIALLY IF HE IS INTERESTED IN YOUR LIFE - SO ALL WHO ARE STUBBORN BEWARE!
- For me, there is no choice but God and the redeeming love of Jesus Christ. I understand my life only when I consider Jesus Christ.

I am glad I was led to this forum. Took me a while to register as a member and a while yet to show some commitment but I guess I am now a committed member. Will partcipate as often as I can.

I am happy to know others on the network toiling in the vineyard of God. I pray we bear the necessary fruits.

Love of Christ.

My spirit weeps with the joy which is woven amidst all of these words. A practical approach to seed faith Christianity. I am glad you are so much at peace with who you are and who you will yet become. I am so glad you have such a grounded and settled understanding of the reality of Christian marriage. With this girding up in your spirit man, I would not hesitate in expressing that "if you want it" you will get it...(A Christian man who will satisfy the need of the Spirit which you carry in His name and in His righteousness. God bless you my dear!!! wub.gif

Nice to meet you all, i'm a newbie on this forum.

My real name is Aamon, i'm 24, i'm a law student at Chester college in the UK.

Converted from judaism to christianity with my family at the age of 10, which was 14 years ago.

Me and my family attend the st michael church in rishton.

I've joined the forum because there is no hostilaty here and you all seem friendly and down to earth. I've joined forums before, which where blasphemous, unwelcoming and very off putting. but i've been reading this forum on and off for the last three months and i thought it was time i joined
