Hi - I've just found out one of my dearest friends from church has pneumonia. Not only that - during the xrays the docs discovered a cavity and a dark mass on her lungs. She's having tests on Tuesday (australiantime). Please please pray for her that it is nothing sinister - namely the big C! HEr name is Julie and she is the most wonderful example of what God can do. I've just had her added to a prayer chain at our church and in our prayer points in our church newsletter.

Can you also pray for me to give up smoking. My real name is Michelle - God knows I"m nutso - but giving up isn't easy....as anyone who's tried knows. A guy at our church prayed to give up smoking - and he hasn't touched one since - 20 years ago.

Please please please......more important though is my friend Julie.

Thanks in advance.

I stand in agreement with you for this great need and for the smoking as well. God is Love and love is able to... 1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Lord, bring this faith in confession of your name to pass. We call those things which be not as though they were.

Your word declares Lord,

Isa 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Amen! wub.gif

Dear sister,

You're not alone...I'll keep you both in my prayers!!!

I too am keeping you both in my prayers.

Lord help me to live from day to day
In such a self-forgetful way,
That even when I kneel to pray
My prayer shall be for others.

Help me in all the work I do
To ever be sincere and true;
And to know that all I do for Thee
Must needs be done for others.

Let self be crucified and slain,
And buried deep and all in vain
May efforts be to rise again,
Unless to live for others.

And when my work on earth is done,
And my new work in Heaven begun,
May I forget the crown I won
While thinking still of others.

Others, Lord, yes others,
Let this my motto be,
Help me to live for others
That I may live like Thee.

I most certainly will. Although God's will be done, we are certainly praying that His will is for everything to be fine.

Thankx

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you that Julia's health will recover. You are the healer of everything. I pray that you will do it for her.

I also pray that you help Michelle stop smoking. She needs your help. It is so difficult to stop addictions. Please give her strength to quit.

In Jesus name,
amen

Update for Julie.....

The CT scan she had Tuesday was 'inconclusive'. So they're trying to get her in to see a cardio-thoracic surgeon ugently.

I know it can happen, I've heard of it happening and I've visualised it happening....but I'd love to see another xray seeing her all clear - and compared to the first one showing something there. Julie is such a special person.

Thank you all for your prayers....for the record, I have cut back on the smoking - it's not cold turkey - but it's better than nothing.

Dear Lord,

Please hear our cries of desperation to heal our sister Julie! May the tests all prove negative... that she be found in wonderfully good health and bewilder the doctors so that they can truly say, "It's a Miracle"... and that anyone around that hears of this miracle will believe in YOU, Lord.

I ask in Jesus's name that Michelle is no more addicted to nicotine... that she wakes tomorrow with no regrets of having given up the drug and Thankful that you gave her the strength to never touch the stuff again. Amen.
