I've had some dreams about bottles of perfume lately and I was wondering what this means or symbolises.
I have a Christian dream dictionary which says that perfumes symbolise somthing seductive, but when I think about perfume in the bible it seems more connected with prayer and worship... take for instance the woman who poured a whole bottle of expensive perfume over Jesus' feet. So I am unsure of this interpretation. Then we are told that our prayers are like a sweet perfume.
My dream last night was about a blonde woman, who had snatched a bottle of perfume from me. It was called "Tabu", a make which I don't own but have in rl seen promoted in the Christmas adverts. Anyhow, this woman was very beautiful, with long blonde hair and she was reclining and posing... and I think she was also after my DH! So I grabbed back the perfume from her and was talking to some guy about all the perfume I have and how I brought it to Australia with me when we moved, in a box (which is true, I do love perfume).
I also dreamt last night that DH wanted to rebuild my childhood home, he had the plans and he was working out where to put the beams, but it was a bit complicated.... I am also wondering why I am constantly dreaming about my childhood home... does it mean something symbolically or is it just because I spent so long there growing up?
I have had other dreams about perfume recently so it seems to be a recurring theme.
Here's another perfume/husband/childhood home dream-
I dreamt that there was perfume on my bed, it had my old pink candlewick bedcover on it... I was a bit disorientated but realised the perfume was a gift from my DH. Then I noticed that the bedroom window was open at the top, I tried to close it, but the wood was rotten and the window started coming away.
In another dream, which I haven't recorded... I dreamt that I was getting married, my Dh was the groom and he was very gentle but I was very sleepy and disorientated.... I was saying that I didn't have my makeup on, but he was saying not to worry because everything was ready. I think there was a gift of perfume in this dream too.
My DH's name is also Listening Prayer so I am wondering about the prayer / perfume connection more. Perhaps the blonde woman represents a spirit trying to steal prayer from me? Or trying to divide us?

I'm sorry but this is irrelevant for the use of perfume like men and women do in ordinary life. It's about other perfumes, for another occasion (I assume that the smell of holy oil of anointment was out of question in the dream, it would be only allowed for specific persons for specific occasions which are clearly described in the bible).
You would know what it means by what the perfum is being used by or for. Many things can be misused by those. Even things that are ment to be holy.
I feel that perfum in dreams are = to anointing, or the use of anointing, station, or calling by G-d.
oils are perfumed and used in the word to anoint!

Also perfume reminds me of the sweet smelling flowers God has created, the scents sometimes heal the soul.
If someone tried to steal that perfume it might have been because of their jealousy of how the scent is good to you like the sweetness of Our Lord which this world tries to turn into sourness and scent of rottenness. But greater is He that is in us that he that is in the world. Keep smelling his sweet scent sister.
