Can men who have had a sex change operation be saved?

God's Word Translation.

Deuteronomy 23
1 A man whose testicles are crushed or whose penis is cut off may never join the assembly of the LORD.

What do you think?

Sure if they repent........

O what kinda bibole you got dude I gotta go now but consider this Deuteronomy 23:1 "He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord."

These are laws that deal with persons both in the community and in the military. The condition of a man's physical body has nothing to do with whether a man goes to heaven or not. But this law concerns the injury that deals comes to the congregation of the Christian community of today, called the church. It is talking about taking a person and elevating him or her to a position of authority within the church.

I'm not at all certain but have been taught that scripture refers to the priesthood in a leadership role.

Christ commented about eunuchs here.

Matthew 19
12 For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it."

It is clear that the eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake have done it willingly without mutilation.

Act 8:27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

Eunuchs were men purposefully castrated so they could be trustfully in charge of women in the palace. This cannot be compared to a sex-change operation, whereby bodily parts are not only removed, but added. A sex-change operation is done for carnal gratification and cannot be compared to eunuichs.

One having a sex change operation would seem to be in very serious dispute against the sovereignty of God and His perfect will.
Yet, many sin and do things contrary to God's will and purpose. This is the nature of those in the "world"; that their lives be driven by their sexual nature instead of their focus being on God.

"Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient"

If the body becomes defrauded by purpose, due to sin, there is only one sin that
cannot be forgiven.

But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin.
—Mark 3:29, NIV

Sex change or not, additional implants, surgical enhancements, cannot be blasphemes.

The body is eaten by worms, in the ground upon death.

So the soul, can still be saved, even if they have marred, maimed, self-inflicted while
in sin.

The determining factor here is not simply whether the body is corruptible. We know it is... the Bible tells us so. Simply knowing this does not give us authority to do whatever we will with the body. If one is a true believer, his body is the temple of God's Spirit (1 Cor.3:16)

The matter of importance here, is the reasoning behind desiring such an operation. Is it something that God would purpose in the life of one of His elect?

- - - I know several breast cancer survivors, who should not read this and think that
a reconstructive surgery is sinful.

Here Am I
Breast cancer replacement surgery resulting from the effects of the disease can, in no way, be compared to a sex-change operation. The purpose and intention is to restore; not to distort.

As in response to a distortion of the original intent of the male body, transforming it to distort the intended purpose of God is carnality... or to transform the body for intentional misuse of what God purposefully intended is an abomination.

The abominations, . . . when I forgive you all that you have done, says the Lord God.

58You must bear the penalty of your lewdness and your abominations, says the Lord.

59 Yes, thus says the Lord God: I will deal with you as you have done, you who have despised the oath, breaking the covenant; 60yet I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish with you an everlasting covenant. 61Then you will remember your ways, and be ashamed when I* take your sisters, both your elder and your younger, and give them to you as daughters, but not on account of my* covenant with you. 62I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall know that I am the Lord, 63in order that you may remember and be confounded, and never open your mouth again because of your shame, when I forgive you all that you have done, says the Lord God.

Taking it upon oneself to distort God's purposeful intention of His creation for the purpose of self-gratification .... it is an abomination.

This would be enought to show that isnt true, that one can be saved with out being intacked! I found that when studing the laws that that part along with others was to set up those ment that was to serve G-d in the temple, PRESTS!!!

I agree that this doesnt cover that sin of trying to turn on self into a women. If a man was to wear clothes as a women, it would far well for that man in those days. I think you would have been killed! Anyways, sin is sin, is SIN! If we brake one part of the law, than we broke all of it. As humans we but sins on levels to show less guilt apart from others. All have fallen short of the glory of G-d, so we all are in the same boat. The only way out is through what Jesus did on the Cross, even for that MAN, acting as a women. Or a Women that acts as a man. They might be fooling themselves in their choise of sin, but they cant fool G-d.

It would be as bad as if someone took my of my paintings and desided to cut it up, or try to fool others into making it the art work of someone elses. But My eye will be able to see my work and that harm done to it! There is NO fooling the MASTERS eye! He knows his own work, when he sees it. There is not changing that fact, no matter how much one wants to hide from it.

But even more the point that if we as christians would put more time in showing true love to those that do harm to themselves in this way, we might reach them much better!
