Dream about a Hotel and Obama

I dreamed this morning about standing in front of a large vertical marque (like an old theatre sign) that said "Benson" in big letters. The sign was next to a large building that had a uniformed man (like a doorman) in front of it. As I was standing there, I had the name Obama pop into my head and a sense of dread, and I thought, "Oh, no...just like Lincoln." I had never heard of anyplace named that so, I Googled it. I found out that there is a fancy hotel named "The Benson" (that would explain the fancy uniformed doorman) and that every U.S. President since Truman has stayed there! Obama stayed there back in May of this year!

Also during my search for that name, I found this Wikipedia about the TV series Benson (the black butler who ends up being Lt. Governor. and then running for Governor):

I had forgotten all about that TV show, but when you go to that link, read what it says under "series finale". Basically, the series finalle was them getting ready to announce who (Benson or the Governor) had won the election and the series was cancelled (so for all rights and puposes, no one was elected).

Just the other day I was driving back into town and I saw the most amazing thing, three huge cloud formations that looked like mushroom clouds!! I was sitting there like....um, ok...I went home, got a camera and took some pictures. I will post them later. I find that interesting with the timing of the India/Pakistan situation. The Lord is definately giving eyes to see and ears to hear.

I'm really feeling a heavy need to pray for this nation and the lost like never before. An ill wind is definately coming.

Thanks for sharing this. It's incredible the connections the Lord can put in dreams, like the "Benson" one you just had. Have you found Him revealing more to you since you posted this? Sometimes the message takes a while to unravel.

I think I know what the dream means. Like I said before Barrack Obama will not get into the White House. Michael S. Steele is the first Black President.

Michael S. Steele was the Lieutenant Governor Maryland from 2003 to 2007.
He ran for Senate in 2006 and lost but I do not beleive his political career is over.

... did you notice that? Lincoln's secretary used to live on site where this (Hay Adams) hotel is located. One wonders what the import of this dream is signifying???? VERY interesting... also, I pray for the full understanding of the dream to be made known... along with wisdom given for guidance in prayer.

If Obama does not become president, then before Jan 19 something will happen that triggers this.

But if we pray to God, that the time is come to show us His Mercy, Goodness and Power by intervention, then we know what to do: unite in prayer. Amen.

I've always strongly suspected Obama would be removed from presidency, and in the re-election the new president would be Arnold Schwarzenegger. Who better to lead America into war cheering, then everyone’s favourite bad boy muscle man. I mostly believe it is him because when I look into his eyes I see a man desperate for greater power, full of lust, who see love as a weapon of the weak willed, and truly believes his statement that 95% of the population should be told what to do with their day to day lives as they are incapable of making that decision for themselves. He's also born in Austria, located by Germany, the homeplace of many greatly famed "heroes" who have acted in the spirit of the antichrist.

In Obama however, I see a man who is genuinely attempting to do what is in the best interests of everyone. However he has rejected the fullness of the Word of God, and therefore has had no true rebirth in Christ. It appears he believes he is capable of creating a system of social order, which is self-sustaining and regulated by a "daddy" figure government. He tries very hard to be likeable, and to respond to questions he asks in the most acceptable and politically correct way possible. Here is a man who believes it is okay to lie to get into a position that he might be able to do greater good. He does not see that the world is an accurate representation of the souls within it, and that if you wish to change the external makeup of the world, you must first awaken the light within the hearts of the individual souls within.

True men speak the truth of God, despite what the crowd will think, because they know God will empower them to speak, and then also empower them to stand strong through the result of that speech, and also if he desires it, that he may lift them up still, by softening the hearts of the listeners and allowing them to understand the words being spoken to them.

But instead Obama speaks what the crowd wishes to hear, and so the crowd heres nothing except that promise their desires will be fulfilled, without coming to the realization that God is in control of their lives, and all they have is what he has given them, and no man can give more to them except he who has all things within him.

Many people seem to suspect Obama is a socialist; perhaps we are all picking up on the same fundamental attributes that make up his character. The believe that all should be shared reasonably fairly, with "fairly" be a concept created by the government, with the government considered to be the collective will of the people it governs.
However this is a bad thing.
The government should be established on the highest and most correct laws of God, not a combination of the many opinions made in ignorance by man. One story which comes to mind, is the story of Babylon. An example of how the collective will of man rose against God to testify to him that the people were beyond the control of God, and without need of his guidance or Authority, in this example they were showing this by attempting to enter into heaven by their own collective will.
With socialism it is a similar offence, we are attempting to state, that we do not need a God to guide us in our everyday lives, to make sure each man is given his portion fairly as determined by the Lord. But instead, that we are capable of creating an order for ourselves, with our on intelligence, and not based of the higher laws of God, and that we believe our system will be better then the alternative. A life spent trusting in the Lord and walking in faith. Accepting that whatever we have is all we need, and if we need more it shall be given.

However to be honest, I couldn't really care all that much whom the antichrist is.
What God wants me to know I know already, and will know more as he chooses to reveal it.

We are already in eternity and all the truth exist within and around us, you simply need to clear your head, and listen to the thoughts of your heart, believing God will guide your faith with sure signs and revelation in his time.

I apologize for having gone so far from the original topic, however it was very education for me to have written it.
During this article I attempted to write, "seek to share", but I accidentally wrote, "share to seek".
This had a very profound meaning for me, as it illuminated the fact, that in sharing my opinion, I have further developed it and have learned much in the process. It leads me to believe greater revelation comes not from seeking to share, but rather from simply sharing straight out, with trust in God that he will provide you with the thing you wish to give, and that to seek it first before sharing it, is to doubt in him that he is able to provide it for you. For truly we should not have to first see it, to believe it, did not Jesus tell us we are given all we ask for in his name with a clear conscience and good intention.

But to the original point, a train of thought which seems difficult for me to follow tonight.
Obama = very much misled, desire too much for himself and no glory for God, but with a desire to do what is in the common good for the masses for the sake of manifesting his rationality as law, so he feels safe believing he has a strong legacy to leave his family and the world.

But all this is just my opinion of course, we are all Christians here, and God speaks to us all, so I would love to hear more of your opinions. I've been reading this forum for months but this is the first time in quite awhile i've decided to involve myself in the conversation, I would appreciate it if my opinion wasn't calved up and served back to me in pieces, so please, be gentle.
The forum seems to have become a more friendly place in these last few weeks, its good to see some of the old tensions have calmed down abit.

I would only vote for Arnie if Silvester Stallone was VP.
