What the Lord Is Saying Today

November 30, 2008. Yesterday I received a prophetic word from a mature and faithful prophet friend of mine. His word was addressed “To the Prophets of God.” But I took it as a word for me personally. For the last 24 hours I have been before the Lord seeking that my heart would be good, clean and pure before Him. The exercise in prayer and supplication has been good, though painful too. I told my friend that daily before dawn, I seek two things. I seek to offer thanksgiving and praise to my God for all He has done and for who He is to me. Secondly, I seek to hear what He has to say to the nations and me. I promise to give Him all the credit and glory and take none to myself. Then I see to write down what I have heard Him say. Sometimes I tremble, weep and sit humbly in silence before Him. I have sought to seek Him with all my heart, but these last eight years since beginning January 6, 2001, I have humbly sought Him daily for His correction, instruction and encouragement. Hallelujah!
Psalms 51:10-12 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.” Ras Robinson*

November 30, 2008. Much is going well with you, in work, within the family, in your Church, and it seems somewhat better in the world. But there is one area where you have a stumbling block. You are not taking care of your personal time and relationship with Me. Your mind is so much on other things, you are forgetting alone time with Me. If you continue neglecting this it will begin to cause problems in the other arenas of life. You need wholeness in all areas. When we are together you will remember how good this is. Don’t let anything take precedent over time with Me. I miss you My child and friend.
Acts 3:19-20 “Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. Bev Robinson**

Make me know you, O Lord
In the depths of my soul.
Purify me and I will be clean.
Wash me whiter than snow.

Create in me a clean heart, O God
And renew your Spirit within me.
Create in me a clean heart, O God
And renew your Spirit within me.

The sacrifices acceptable to you,
O Lord, are a broken spirit.
A broken heart, a contrite heart,
O God, you will not despise.

Create in me a clean heart, O God
And renew your Spirit within me.
Create in me a clean heart, O God
And renew your Spirit within me.

Suddenly, Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. Matthew 28:9

Our neighbors had been out fishing. What a beautiful day. The good catch made it all the better. Tired, happy hands threw the fish out of the cooler, up onto the dock. One guy started cleaning the boat, another started cleaning the fish.

The coconut telegraph was buzzing. Pelicans flew in, and floated over, to be in reach of the fish scraps being tossed out. An expected and familiar site. They always know, somehow, when and where there is fish-cleaning going on.

So later in the week, out for a short boat ride, I was unprepared to see pelicans, in an unexpected place. I did a double-take when we zipped by the mangroves, where several were roosting. I would expect to see them in the water, by the dock. But not up in the trees!

God comes to us in unexpected ways all the time. He is the God of the suddenlies (a few examples, below). There are many incidences, in the Bible, that tell of the Lord suddenly doing something.

Yes, He comes in expected and unexpected ways. He breaks through into our day, and whispers, Here I am! With you!.

Lord, today, please help me to see you in unexpected ways and places. Amen.

Matthew 8:26 Then he (Jesus) got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.
Luke 2:13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
Luke 23:45 The light from the sun was gone. And suddenly, the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn down the middle.
Luke 24:4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them.
John 6:19 They had rowed three or four miles when suddenly they saw Jesus walking on the water toward the boat.
Acts 2:2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
Acts 9:3 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for the time we spent together this morning. I saw you as the Good Shepherd walking through the hills and valleys calling your sheep. A few are right behind you, following you wherever you may lead. Some were lost and out of the range of your voice. But the ones that are breaking your heart are the sheep that are penned up and can't follow you. They are penned up behind man-made fences that were contructed with help from the devil. These sheep are really lost but they thought they were safe and secure. They are depending on someone else letting them out when the right messiah comes along. They are depending on someone else telling them who their true Shepherd is. The man-made fences are demoninations, legalism and dependence on church ministers. The sheep behind these fences are content. The little ones have wanted to get out for a long time, but the older ones are so used to their pen that don't even think about it anymore. They are being fed man-made food from troughs instead of your sweet, free grass. They don't realize that there is a huge difference. Their stomachs are full so they are content. But they are about to miss out because you are coming for all of your sheep. You want to lead them out.

Jesus please shout out in your glorious, beautiful, mightly voice. Let the sheep that are astray hear your voice. Let the ones penned hear you and know that it is truly you. You said your sheep will know you by your voice. Tell them it is time, that you, our true Shepherd has come to lead us out! Let the ones behind weak fences sense your presence and get excited. Through the work of your Holy Spirit let them know that they can knock their fences down by themselves if they work together. Your mighty shout will tear down their fences that are too heavily reinforced. Jesus your mighty shout will break down anything that the devil has constructed.

But your heart breaks because all of the penned sheep will not follow because they are too used to their pens. They are afraid that they might miss being fed from their troughs. They will stay behind where their fences used to be. Waiting to be told by their familiar voices that it is okay to go instead of listening to their own spirits.

Please Lord, speak to our spirits before it is too late! Please help us listen so that we will know your beautiful voice so that when you call for us we know it is you. We need you help. Please stir our spirits with your Holy Spirit. The time is short and there is little time left to prepare.

Today's meditation is taken from:

The Call of the Cross
by Chip Brogden

The Call Of The Cross
"And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after Me, is not worthy of Me (Matthew 10:38)."

Are you worthy of the Lord Jesus Christ? Hear what the Lord is saying here. "If you do not take up your Cross and follow Me, you do not deserve Me."

http://www.theschoolofchrist.org/articles/cross_call.html
"But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world" (Galatians 6:14).

Unfortunately, salvation as preached today results not in death, but in "swooning". There is an ecstatic joy and the "near death experience" of a token surrender, but it is not real death. The convert merely changes his conduct, cries a few tears, yet he still lives. The outward deportment may be different, but he has not died. He commences to follow the Lord and fill his life with spiritual activity, but his many failures and shortcomings prove something is missing in his experience. What is it?

He knows the Cross only as something Jesus died on for him. The Cross does not represent his own death, but his Lord's death. It is seldom presented as anything other than the means of atonement and forgiveness of sins. Few realize it is the means by which we enter, as well as live, the Christian life.

I am packing my suitcase. I am hoping.

Lead me out of the pen, My Shepherd. Lead me to green pastures and still waters...

zeetz
Signet, I believe with all my heart you will be freed from the pen soon...I want to go with you! We have to keep hoping, and believing help will come... it will, it must...can't go on like this forever without relief/rest of some lasting sort.
Love you
zeetz

PS...I took my suitcase out but haven't packed it. It is like an act of faith I guess, because I just see it sitting on the floor empty. It symbolizes a spiritual suitcase for me I think. I looked inside it and found things I forgot where in there...there were pieces of broken pottery I found when I visited the "Tree of Life" when i was in Bahrain. The pieces have a layer of bluegreen glaze on them, and alot of detailed decorations and some sort of ancient writing on them. There is also a sharp piece of glass like rock that looks like a broken arrowhead. And a fossilized vertabre of an animal - whole yet turned to stone. I gathered them up out of the sand at the base of the tree and took them all the way home here to the US, and now just found them, along with desert sand I collected in bottles. And sand and shells from the Pacific islands too...

EDITED ADDITION: The arrowhead it is light mocha brown, and upon closer inspection, it looks like it's an unfinished arrowhead possibly ... I can see where they were chipping away on it to form it...it is flint I think..glassy smooth yet sharp. With a sharp point but bottom curved slightly across. I say unfinished because the bottom had not been formed to attach to the arrow shaft yet.

As God establishes...please come. My heart is open and my door will be open as
Yeshua has opened His very heart to me...

Pray for that certain place and the inner garden...see that you are that garden
that inner garden is flourishing while that outer shell of flesh submits...

Lovely and beautiful are the feet of Him that brings good tidings, sisters.

Your tears water the holy ground of your garden and it becomes a fertile
valley for the work of the Holy Spirit.

Shalom,

Josepha...

I saw you deleted a post.

I don't have a house and own very little. But my Father has a mansion with many
rooms...I also believe that He will give a blessing in the land of the living as we come
into agreement with our destiny in Yeshua, yes?

I am asking for prayer about work and ministry in Texas. If you feel led I would dearly love it. And I look forward to your input and that of others that seek God for their future.

Be blessed, sister.

Shalom,

Great Victories and Great Outbursts of My Glory

The Spirit of the Lord says, "Tonight, I am pointing arrows in the right direction. All you gotta do is stretch the bow and shoot the arrows." For God said, "You are not short of ammunition. You are not short of arrows. You are short of direction.

"And the prophet Elisha came to the king and placed his hands on top of the king's hands and sent the arrows in the right direction. He said, 'Shoot.'" For the Spirit of God said, "I have given unto you arrows, I have given unto you ammunition. You don't need any more," says the Spirit. "I'm gonna take these arrows, this that you have, the words that you have, the truth that you have; point it in the right direction. And when you shoot," says the Spirit of God, "it shall be in the right place that it shall land.

"Then I want to tell you something. For those that are in this territory - it has been ravaged; it has been set apart to be announced as a catastrophe never to be resurrected spiritually again." And the Spirit of the Lord said, "Who would say these words to defy the words that have been spoken in this region and territory? Though you have seen the hurricane come, it has also gone.

"Now watch spiritually what I intend doing in this region - in your homes, in your business. I'm linking you together so that you'd understand that these days of catastrophe have to be translated into days and years of great victories and great outbursts of My glory," says the Spirit of God.

Small Straws In A Soft Wind by Marsha Burns -- December 1, 2008:
Be alert for circumstances that present tests of faithfulness and loyalty, and know that in the midst of trials and great tribulation that even if those around you are faithless, I remain faithful. I will not allow the enemy to wreak utter havoc, for I have placed a hedge of protection around you. These tests are not to bring destruction, but are to bring clarity and understanding that will help you see your own level of faithfulness and loyalty to others and to Me, says the Lord.
2 Corinthians 4:6-10 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed--always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

I say to you, My people, watch! For, the fourth watch is coming in the very season ahead of you. I have spoken to you that I would come to you as the rain. I will come to you not only as the rain, the flowing down of My Spirit upon the land, but I will walk upon that rain, and I will walk to you and enter into union with you. When I come to you, I will translate you into the reality of My kingdom. When My kingdom comes upon you the power will come and be demonstrated in the land among My people because of your desires and the willingness of your hearts. I shall come to those of you who have remained faithful even as I came to Moses and to Abraham and to David and those who have gone before you. I will have fellowship with you and restore, renew and empower you to fulfill your destiny that you may walk forth in the grace and knowledge of My presence. Then, I say, your joy shall be restored, and peace shall be the path before you where I will walk with you. Behold, study and learn, for now My Church is entering into the fourth watch, and that revelation will be in My communion with you as My Spirit will teach you all things that pertain to that watch. The watchmen will say, "What of the night?" But, I say, the morning comes -- the night is far spent and the day is at hand. These are days of My power and glory, so be aware spiritually of this new watch, and position yourselves by faith to see, says the Lord.
