Why so many proffessing christians chassing after a badge ?



i dont know about the members hear but what i have observed is this today we have proffessing christians chassing after a badge more then equiping the saints today proffessing christians want the badge once they have the badge of honor thats it they can sit in the best seats hang out with like minded proffessing christians who also have a badge


mean while you have hurting people in genuine need of a savior new christians that could be encouraged to use the gifts god has given them so they can be effective with in their churches they belong to and with in their own communitys they live in


the proffessing christians that just chase after the badge of honor dont bother equipping the saints or giving a person the right tools to use you can say pauls old spirit is evident in these proffessing christians that are just chassing after the badge to be seen with the hip crowed


am i the only one that has noticed this or are the genuine members hear that have also noticed this with in their countrys they live in ?

churches today have become clubs no longer are churches reaching out or taking notice of what is going on around them to belong to these clubs you have to have the same badge of honor other wise you wil not be accepted

to be accepted in these churches that see them selves as clubs you have to do what is asked of you that means doing as the leader or pastor requires of you

i have seen were christians who dont use their brain do almost anything to be seen with the hip crowed some even alow them selves to be walked over some alow them selves to be abused some even dump their friends and family to fit into these churches that see them selves as clubs



do you feel alive when you are around a proffessing christian who preaches nothing but what he has acheived do you get inspired when you have some one bashing you over the head were you hear nothing but how much of a sinner you are to were you are told every sunday what hell is like what god wil do to the sinner who does not abide by the old laws ?


or do you want to kneck your self or escape and find another church were your needs will be met were you are with genuine real people who really care about you ?

see some one who is chassing after the badge wil not care about you or wil the one chassing after the badge to be seen with the hip crowed say i am worried about your walk i am worried about you how are you do you need any prayer do you need any encoragment have you fulley surrendered to jesus is jesus lord over your life


a genunine caring christian wil say this more than some one who is chassing after the badge to be seen with the hip crowed

can you pick the ones hear chassing the badge i have i will not name names i wil let you work it out for your selves


why chase after a badge what is so important having this badge ?



did the disciples have like a badge of honor were the disciples hanging out in the hip crowed sitting in the best seats ?



i have spotted about 45 members chassing after a badge more than doing what christ did while he was alive for the 3yrs that he was alive what he said impacted those that stopped to listen to him he showed compassion he cared for the out casts he loved his disciples he believed in them he encouraged them and told them what would happen when its his time to go to be with his father



i knew this one pastor who lost all his members he was only left with 3 members from a big church that had a lot of members he drove the orginol members away


with the old pastor the church was alive it was thriving the members were encouraged no one was ignored new familys were welcome soon as this new pastor took over he said i am gods anointed one i am an apostle you are to listen to me and if no one did what he said how he wanted them to do things when instructed because he is gods anointed one an apostle he would punish the members






what do you say to what i have said or have we got our heads burried in the sand to were we dont really care ?

"The power of His resurrection."—Philippians 3:10.

THE doctrine of a risen Saviour is exceedingly precious. The resurrection is the corner-stone of the entire building of Christianity. It is the key-stone of the arch of our salvation. It would take a volume to set forth all the streams of living water which flow from this one sacred source, the resurrection of our dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; but to know that He has risen, and to have fellowship with Him as such—communing with the risen Saviour by possessing a risen life—seeing Him leave the tomb by leaving the tomb of worldliness ourselves, this is even still more precious. The doctrine is the basis of the experience, but as the flower is more lovely than the root, so is the experience of fellowship with the risen Saviour more lovely than the doctrine itself. I would have you believe that Christ rose from the dead so as to sing of it, and derive all the consolation which it is possible for you to extract from this well-ascertained and well-witnessed fact; but I beseech you, rest not contented even there. Though you cannot, like the disciples, see Him visibly, yet I bid you aspire to see Christ Jesus by the eye of faith; and though, like Mary Magdalene, you may not "touch" Him, yet may you be privileged to converse with Him, and to know that He is risen, you yourselves being risen in Him to newness of life. To know a crucified Saviour as having crucified all my sins, is a high degree of knowledge; but to know a risen Saviour as having justified me, and to realize that He has bestowed upon me new life, having given me to be a new creature through His own newness of life, this is a noble style of experience: short of it, none ought to rest satisfied. May you both "know Him, and the power of His resurrection." Why should souls who are quickened with Jesus, wear the grave-clothes of worldliness and unbelief? Rise, for the Lord is risen.

i had to walk out the bed i had the owner came back for it today just as i came home from church so i had to help move the bed out of my place now i am sleeping on a single matress


i like charles spurgeon i have this set up were i get his daily devotions and i like every day with jesus i am not sure if you get every day with jesus by selywn Hughes

thes devotionals and what charles spurgeon adds helps you reflect and its good as a starter topic if you pray in a group


i am just wondering why so many proffessing christians today want the badge with out getting to know the real jesus why be seen with the hip crowed when you can develop a personal relationship with jesus he stretches out his arms he knocks and he weights for us to accept him today proffessing christians who chase only the badge dont want the personal relationship with the real saviour its like they want a relationship only with those who are like them


we were talking about this today and what my pastor wants to do he is stepping back and alowing the assistant pastor and his wife and another leader to take over wer he guides them gives them advice and focuses on the things he needs to do

we have sevral projects like setting up church in our neighbourhoods we live in

he is involved with cross link were pastors like my one share their ideas and resources


he believes in equipping new christians giving them the right tools to use so they can be effective with in their churches and their communities they live in


how is one to grow if they have nothing but some one bashing them over the head saying you must have the badge i have to be seen and accepted you just cant have that relationship with jesus unless you show me you have wisdom are mature and lack knowledge in the word

I believe it is part of the "human nature" to want to be considered great or to be a hero or legend etc.., even the disciples dealt with this:

Luke 9:46
Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.

But let's not forget what it means to be great, from our Saviours mouth He say's:

Matthew 18:4
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

And

Matthew 23:11
But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

So let us not forget the washing of the feet! If we cannot metaphorically or spiritually wash someones feet let alone physically do it...then that is a telling *sign* that we are not great at all, we only think we are in our own puffed up balloon head and it won't take much for that head to burst.
