The Anti-Christ And Mr. Obama

Since the election I’ve been asked a number of times to comment on the likelihood that Mr. Obama could be the anti-Christ. Let me begin by saying that having been elected President he’s Mr. Obama now, not just Obama. As for him being the anti-Christ I’ve discouraged that thought because I don’t believe it’s time for the anti-Christ to be revealed yet. But apart from that there’s no Biblical reason I can find that would absolutely disqualify him. And based on the things we know about the anti-Christ there’s a fit in several important places. The anti-Christ will have to burst on the scene quickly and powerfully to accomplish so much in the little time he has, so maybe he’ll need a head start. If that’s the case, maybe Mr. Obama is on his way to becoming the anti-Christ. Let’s find out.

We know that the anti-Christ will be a descendant of the people who made up the Roman Empire in Biblical times (Daniel 9:26), and he’ll arrive on the world scene as a peace maker (Daniel 8:25). He won’t be part of the world’s powerful elite at the beginning of his career (Daniel 7:8) but will rise up among them to eventually surpass them and become the leader of the entire world. (Rev. 13:7-8)

He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power. (Daniel 8:25)

This means that he’ll base his success on a lie, misrepresenting himself and his intentions, but people will want to believe him so badly that they’ll disregard his inconsistencies until it’s too late to stop him. Initially he’ll seem successful, but just when they’re saying “Peace and safety”, destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains to a pregnant woman, and they won’t escape (1 Thes. 5:3).

Deja Vu All Over Again?

Some of us remember when Jimmy Carter was elected President of the US. The country was fed up with Washington and even though he had no national leadership experience, we elected him because he was an outsider who promised "change". He said he would never lie to us, but after the election it turned out that he had. He had misrepresented his background and didn’t have the ability he needed when it came to governing. He said he was Christian and even orchestrated a land for peace deal between Israel and Egypt, but he proved to be anti-Israel. Soon we had a crisis in finance with interest rates at 20%, an energy crisis with our first gas shortages, and an administration that didn’t know how to work with Congress to fix things. The Iranians captured our embassy and held our citizens hostage. Thankfully he lasted only one term.

Mr. Obama could easily turn out to be just another Jimmy Carter, and if so America will suffer through the next four years and then he’ll be gone. But if he continues to be successful in convincing people all around the world that he’s on the right track even though everything seems to be falling apart, it could be a different story.

If my calculations are correct, American Christians have just voted in our last presidential elections and won’t be here to see if Mr. Obama turns out to be the anti-Christ or not. But someone with a lot more experience in accurately predicting the future has some interesting insight into the next few years. His name is Gerald Celente, CEO of Trends Research Institute, and he’s renowned the world over for his accuracy in predicting future world and economic events......

He accurately predicted the 1987 Stock market crash, the Fall of the Soviet Union, the 1997 Asian currency collapse, the sub-prime mortgage crisis, and one year before the fact predicted what he said would become known as the Panic of 2008, saying that giants would tumble to their deaths, which is what we’ve just seen in the fall of several of our oldest and biggest financial firms, and with the big three auto makers teetering on the brink. Celente is now forecasting revolution in America, food riots and tax rebellions - all within four years, cautioning that putting food on the table will be a more pressing concern than buying Christmas gifts by 2012.

* According to his recent Fox News interview, called “Predicting Obama’s Impact” (posted on YouTube on Nov. 10, 2008), by 2012 America will have become an undeveloped nation. There will be a revolution marked by food riots, squatter rebellions, tax revolts and job marches, and holidays will be more about obtaining food than gifts.

* “We’re going to see the end of the retail Christmas….we’re going to see a fundamental shift take place….putting food on the table is going to be more important that putting gifts under the Christmas tree,” said Celente, adding that the situation would be “worse than the great depression”.

* “America’s going to go through a transition the likes of which no one is prepared for,” he said, noting that people’s refusal to acknowledge that America was even in a recession highlights how big a problem denial is in being ready for the true scale of the crisis.

All this comes from a man with an international reputation for being right and whose continued success depends on it. If he’s right now like he has been so often in the past, then the next four years will be worse than the Carter Administration ever was, rather than the launching platform for a coming world leader.

(By the way, please take note that this is another independent expert pointing to the year 2012 as one of cataclysmic significance in bringing about the End of the Age.)

*** There’s a wild card that I hesitate to throw in here because I don’t even want to think about it. But if it’s true it could easily cause the problems that Mr. Celente is predicting. For some time now certain people, Republican and Democrat alike, have been saying that Mr. Obama isn’t legally qualified to be President because he’s not a natural born citizen of the US. I won’t go into the details but the point is that he could make this all go away by producing a legitimate birth certificate, something he’s been unwilling to do. A Supreme Court Justice has reportedly given him until Dec. 1, 2008 to do so, and if he does then the Electoral College vote will be certified and he’ll be the next President. But lawsuits in a dozen or so states have been or are being filed to prevent the certification until Mr. Obama proves he’s qualified. If the courts throw out the election who knows what could happen.


What Time Is It?

As many of you know, I’ve said that all of the End Times prophecies including the 2nd Coming could be fulfilled as early as 2018. I base this on the Lord’s promise that the generation being born at the time of the first End Times signs would still be alive when “all these things have happened” (Matt. 24:34) Most scholars view the re-birth of Israel in 1948 as the first of the end times signs. With an average lifespan being 70 years, according to Psalm 90:10, everything will have to come to pass by 2018. If the Rapture only just precedes the 70th Week of Daniel it could come 7 years earlier, in 2011, which is 2 ½ years from now, about half way through Mr. Obama’s first term, assuming the election stands.

So here’s how to tell if he’ll become the anti-Christ or not. If it seems like he can do no wrong, if people feel safe and it’s beginning to look like there’ll be peace in our time, then there’s a good chance he’s the one. But if Gerald Celente’s predictions are coming to pass, and the world’s in worse shape than ever, then he’s just another Jimmy Carter, an inexperienced outsider who had no business running for president in the first place, let alone being elected.

Time will tell, but either way we can look for some difficult days ahead for the Church. Because either way we are in the final phase of post Christian America and can expect the world around us to become more and more anti-Christian. And if the economy continues to self-destruct it will be just that much worse.

But whether Mr. Obama turns out to be the anti-Christ or not is really irrelevant to the Church. Our job in the short time we have left is to get ready to move to our new home. That means breaking our ties with the old one. Anything that can’t be put to kingdom use is excess baggage to us now. We should be sending whatever treasure we have up ahead. We should stop worrying about our career, our retirement fund, our lifestyle, and all those other worldly distractions and put all our resources to work for the benefit of our next life. After all it’s the real one. And one way or the other, this one is already gone.

Whether you believe in a pre-trib rapture or not you know, my advice is sound. After all I’m not just making this up. Everything I ‘ve been saying is straight from the Lord’s own mouth. He’s the one who said to quit storing up treasure on Earth where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. He’s the one who said to store up treasure in Heaven instead. (Matt. 6:19-20) And He’s the one who said not to worry about our lives here but seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and he’ll provide all our needs. (Matt. 6:31-34)

So whether you think we’re leaving here soon or not, it’s time to pay attention to what He’s been telling us. No matter how much time you think we have, you can almost hear the footsteps of the Messiah. 11-15-08

Zeetz… That’s what I’ve been saying all along, that President Bush was the last president of the U.S. as we knew it, and that Obama as president is a radical departure from the traditional presidency, based off my observation of a type of “Alpha and Omega Principle”, being that since our FIRST president was named “George”, then our LAST president will also be named “George”, and what comes afterwards is utterly formidable.

Gerald Celente’s insight into the coming national unrest and civil disobedience parallels the civil unrest conditions in America seen by a Christian visionary in the 90s, I don’t recollect the name, but the individual saw rioting in America of a “Civil War” nature, status, or on the verge, thereof, and he saw that the president was detracted by this domestic calamity and, simultaneously, a quagmire with China over Taiwan that prompts him to mobilize a great naval fleet to Taiwan. These two indicators are precursors to America’s thermal nuclear destruction that will immediately follow. God spoke to the visionary saying that China and Russia have a bilateral plan for global domination along with the support of rogue nations, a total of 10 nations (China, Russia, Iran, Syria, North Korean, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Cuba, Mexico, and Nicaragua). The visionary then saw the Statue of Liberty plummet into the Gulf of Mexico on the Tropic of Cancer where Russian submarines emerged and with a sweeping radial-arm range of target across the entire Continental U.S., and a the submarines launched a thermal nuclear ambush of all America’s great populated urban center from east to west. And God told the visionary this would occur “before” 2010. This will obviously be on Obama’s watch, he being the king of the “Daughter of Babylon” seen in Jeremiah 50 and 51 who becomes “feeble knee” at hearing the news of the enemy’s attack.

This parallel’s the 100 year old prophecy from Obama’s father’s Kenyan tribal religion, revealed by Johanwa Owalo, the founder of Kenya’s Nomiya Luo Church, and who among the Kenya people of the Luo religion is believed to be a prophet, and who in 1912 made this horrific prophecy about the United States:

“So far have they [the United States] strayed into wickedness in those [future] times that their destruction has been sealed by my [father]. Their great cities will burn, their crops and cattle will suffer disease and death, their children will perish from diseases never seen upon this Earth, and I reveal to you the greatest [mystery] of all as I have been allowed to see that their [the United States] destruction will come about through the vengeful hands of one of our very own sons.” [1]

All this is also parallels a 17th century prophecy from England:

“And Christian one fights Christian two
And nations sigh, yet nothing do

They fail to split the world in two (their bilateral domination of earth).
But from their acts a danger bred
An ague - leaving many dead (hemorrhagic fever, EBOLA, launched in missiles)
And physics find no remedy
For this is worse than leprosy.” (The Russians intentionally combined Level 2 Ebola with monkey pox as an “genetic entry portal” to integrate the Ebola in AMERICANS with great susceptible ease, knowing that American vaccination for any kind of pocks has been disabled since the 60s-70s, leaving Americans vulnerable.)

Sorcha Faal? Is that an Irish name? What was the background on this "Order" - I want to read more of that. I'm googling it now, but maybe you have a better link for me? I'd appreciate it very much. I have come across many ancient (well since 400-500 AD prophecies from monks, etc in Ireland, Scotland, Europe), and they are astonishingly similar to the Bible and yet the Bible as we know it wasn't that readily available to the masses at that time. I am trying to do a study but it keeps getting sidetracked.

And the info on the Luo Religion is amazing too - I did not know Obama has family heritage back to them, and there is another area I want to read more about. And the visionary from the 90's! I remember David Wilkerson published a book called "the Vision" in the 70's describing visions he was given for these last days and it is always along the same lines it seems. Nuclear attacks...the crazy rise and fall of the stock market, the hardening of hearts, on and on.

Anyway, thank you for your reply! Please could you either PM me or post any links that may help me gain some additional information into these prophecies? Putting everything alongside the Bible prophecies and seeing the simularties is amazing, if not upsetting...thank God for the hope Jesus gives us!

I forgot to add that from the vision I read in the 90s God told the visionary that China will lure the U.S. to Taiwan as a TRICK and RUSE to engage in war (that will never happen) so that America's naval defenses are absent from the North American Continent while Russian submarines position themselves around America for the nuclear ambush, particularly in the Gulf of Mexico (Tropic of Cancer) with the aid of Mexico, Nicaragua and Cuba. And I forgot to add that monkey pox merged with Ebola creates the appearance of leprosy, as documented in photos of Russian test victims.

Don't forget what else is well on its way to becoming a plague. MRSA is speading at an alarming rate, and can be spread by light casual contact(sit where someone who had sat, lockerooms, etc. This is some nasty stuff and no single drug will work for everyone. Read a piece today said 20,000 Americans died from MRSA last year.

This reminds me of a vision I had 9 years ago. I was praying when the final war would happen, it was 1999 and some thought it would happen that year, so I was praying for God to provide me a warning. He said, "Be at peace, nothing will happen until China invades Taiwan. When that happens start to get ready. When the US declares war on China, flee for the mountains for Russia is going to launch a surprise attack." I prayed, how will I know this is true?. He told me, "You will know it's true when the first two happen, when it does, flee without hesitation for you know the third will come true".

This may not be the exact dream but I have it written down somewhere and will post the original when I find it.

Don, thank you so much for sharing that with us...I myself had never even entertained the idea of things starting with China invading Taiwan , until Seven Thunders mentioned it...and now with your recounting the dream you had, it is very very interesting. This would be a huge surprise, wouldn't it? Something completely unexpected....and in Revelations, doesn't it mention a HUGE army coming from the East to attack Israel? Both China and Russia are east of Israel. Just my thoughts as I read this.

This thread has perked my attention for a week now...but this is my first opportunity to really dig into it. So much has been shared here that bears witness with me. 7, you shared this prophecy about China/Russia (I think) in one of my dh's dream threads. But I never noticed this about Taiwan. I had some dreams recently about Russia and a possible Taiwan connection. I misunderstood these dreams at first though but have been earnestly praying for understanding. What you shared here makes total sense. And it's possible that my dreams are a confirmation.

There's also some visions I had before the election which I've been privately praying about. They were exceptionally disturbing but I'm feeling led to bring them forward now and perhaps somebody will have some thoughts about these.

First of all, God has shown me spiritual forces symbolically represented by black squares. This theme has been repetetive in many of the visions given to me. The first vision I'm going to share started off with one of these recurrent black squares in a darkened spiritual realm being moved to the right side. After this, standing in it's place was a snake. This was no ordinary snake by any means! This snake was sooooooooo REAL and so CLOSE to my face, it was STARTLING! Horrifyingly, I continued to watch this snake as it's completely black eyes were looking directly at me. There was something about those eyes however that were very disturbing. The blackness was not a typical blackness, it was more as if NOTHING were there! A very disturbing emptiness. The jaw of the snake was very SQUARED. It's body was the most disgusting body of a snake I have EVER seen. It was comprised of the most sick looking coloration....the entire snake had this shiny appearance to it as if it were slimy....it's primary color was RED, followed by these sick looking (somewhat blended) looking colors of YELLOW, with the least color being white.

God has shown to us many times that China will be the final power to be reckoned with. China, in alliance with Russia will be our nation's undoing. This snake that I saw reminded me of the antichrist. I cannot say for sure if this snake represented Obama or not, but I am seriously praying about it and would appreciate you all to join me in prayer for understanding. If my understanding is correct, the black square being moved to the right was the removal of the Bush admin from power, and in it's replacement is the sick/disgusting/red snake. Either it represents the communistic agenda of Obama, and/or it could represent the future invasion of China/Russia. Eyes are the window of the soul, so for this snake to have NOTHING in it's eyes, reminds me of the abomination which makes DESOLATE (nothing). Besides representing communism, red also represents iniquity. Yellow is another term for communisim...ie- China's red flag with the yellow star. White could represent a false righteousness. Being "shiny" reminds me of something being glossed up in order to sell it...which is how Obama represented himself (ie- he literally sold himself to the American people).

After praying for some time about this snake, I had another startling vision. I saw a spiritual sign in the spiritual heavens....these heavens were darkened. Coming from the right area, I saw a large planet emerging. It's LEFT side was prominently displayed (and part of the right side was still in the darkness). The planet was red, and had (approx) 10 yellow stars girdling it's surface. These stars were heavily concentrated at the middle/lower/left part of the planet. 3 black rings surrounded this planet.

I had these visions before Obama was elected. I was assuming that they probably represented a time in the future when China/Russia invades our country...but after praying considerably about these visions, I believe they are representing a "communistic"/iniquitous spiritual condition for this current time (and Obama admin). Also, the planet with the ten stars could be representing the beast with the ten horns...and/or the ten toes of the statue found in the book of Daniel.

In a more recent vision, I saw Obama standing on a platform facing the left. A large crowd was at his feet as he stood on his platform. He and ALL of the people were COMPLETELY black! And, in the crowd of people themselves, there was a RED atmosphere surrounding them.

As my dh and I prayed over these things, we felt very moved by God's Spirit that BEHIND the scenes, the U.S. ALREADY has an alliance with Russia/communistic agenda....and we are going to see that play out greatly during Obama's admin.

We are very concerned over the "apparent" promises Obama made to the American people, much like seduction....but when something sounds too good to be true, more than likely it is too good to be true! Not only this but what is going to happen to our nation if he does end up implementing some of these huge initiatives he promised? To be honest, it's not even this which concerns me the most....communism primarily hinges upon the notion that God does not exist! Oh LORD! How much more atheistic will our society become????????

There is much parallel here regarding the China/Taiwan invasion, a Chinese invasion of the United States and the nuclear ambush that precedes it from various sources, and not just "Christian". One night while listening to the Art Bell Radio Show about 8 years ago, a man called in and relayed a recurrent dream he kept having after returning from the first "Gulf War", which he assumed was due to "post-traumatic stress syndrome" precipitated by his combat duty in the war. In the dream the man said he was desperately running away from the state of California (where he was born and resides) through forests and the rugged terrain of the Sierra Neveda mountainous wilderness with a 16 year old blonde teenage girl… they were fleeing the invading Chinese Army that was swiftly pursuing them. He said the girl was severely traumatized and kept crying over the killing of her mother by the Chinese soldiers. She wept profusely over seeing her mother slaughtered by the brutes. This dream kept replaying for many months after his return from the Gulf, and then faded away.

At that time he was a single man. Eventually, many years later he met the love of his life and married her, and they had a baby, a daughter. When he placed this phone call to the radio station he said the age of his daughter was 6 years old. He said the reason why he was placing the call to relay this dream is that he had an epiphany and suddenly realized the girl in the dream was his very own daughter at the future age of 16 years (10 years after the phone call). He said as he was looking at his daughter’s face one day, he realized she looked very similar to the blonde 16 year old girl in the dream. And he also sadly realized the mother of the 16 year old girl was actually his future wife, who will be killed by the invading Chinese soldiers. So this places a date of 2010 as the year China will invade the U.S. when his daughter will be 16 years old.

I know this is not your typical “Christian” source for prophecy, but one must at the least take note of the striking parallel of the Hopi Indian prophecy that is waiting to be fulfilled, and this is the invasion of the United States by the “red hat and red cloaked people from a nation in the west having many people” (China). The prophecy relays that first black clouds of smoke will be seen in the west (from the viewing point of the “Four Corners”), of course being the nuclear holocaust of the western U.S. cities… and in “one day” (after a 24 hour post-nuclear period) the invaders will descend like countless locust (millions upon millions)… it will be a post-nuclear Chinese land grab of the Continental U.S. to create a “Sino-American Territory” or a “New China”, containing the 11 western states.

And of course, this is also reiterated in Jeremiah 50 and 51, the destruction of the “land of the mixed people” (ethnically diverse citizens) being the “Daughter of Babylon” (America).

Sorry it took so long to respond. I heard about that soldier you mentioned. In fact, I was able to get on to Art Bell's program, ohhhhh, around the yr 2000. I gave my testimony to somebody psycho-babbling about the "god" part of the brain. He asked me questions and I don't think he expected the responses I gave him, it was pretty fun. Although I must admit, I'm cautious about prophecies that aren't centered around Christ.

The First Evidence I first stumbled upon the identity of the AC thanks to Paul Black's discovery, documented in my article, "Is the Man of Sin Revealed?" (see link). Paul was intrigued by a number common to all four 666 scriptures in the Bible. Little did he know this number, 793, is the English standard value (A=1, B=2, ....., J=10, K=20 ....) of Barack Hussein Obama. I must confess this came as a surprise to even me.
