November 22, 2008. Everything is quiet, even slow around you. You have the greater part of your work done. There is more to be done, so be sure and finish what you are working on now. Sometimes you waste time and do not finish what’s needed, and your accomplishments go lacking. You start something else, and lack to put on the finishing touches. This is no time to be slouchy or use your time unwisely. Get all done that needs to be done and then take time to rest. It is good to rest but do not waste time. Wasting time and resting are two different things. Wasting is detrimental and resting is beneficial.

A WORD IN SEASON ~ The Day of the Lord

The day of the Lord is coming as a thief in the night. Most are living like they will not face Me and do not consider sin nor do they consider that one day soon they will stand before a Holy God. I am knocking at the doors of mens hearts and saying, "pray without ceasing". Pray for those in authority over you that you may live a quiet, peaceful and godly life. Pray, pray, pray. Now is the time of grace. Now is the time to cry out to Me. Now is the time to pray that men will be ready to meet their maker. Pray for your loved ones. Pray for your neighbors. Pray for your friends that once knew Me. Pray for the nations of the earth. Pray, pray, pray. Allow Me to draw you by My Spirit and do a quick work in you so that you can be used to touch hearts and allow Me to fulfil your destiny in My timing. I am returning for a church without spot or wrinkle and My army is not yet in formation and there are many flaws. Love is not yet flowing. Unity in the body has not yet happened. Pray, pray, pray. You are living in serious times. You are living in the end times. Now is the time to pray without ceasing, pray, pray and pray again that you will be worthy to escape all that is coming on the earth. Pray, pray, pray. Beloved now is the time to stand in the gap and intercede. Do not take My words lightly. Hear the Word of the Lord that is calling all men to come to the knowledge of the truth. Pray, pray, pray. I Jesus am calling all men to seek Me with their whole heart and pray, pray. pray.

I had a dream about my whole tribe (my family of four) praying for another believer who was bound by fear and infirmity. The remarkable thing about this dream was that as we prayed there was a television in the room, just blaring! And, we were all in a place in the Spirit where the television did not interrupt what we were trying to do. We were able to effectively pray for this person as a group. We prayed for this person and they got delivered as they began to see what was impeding them, and they were moved forward in the things of the Kingdom.

So, the dream means that this is my whole family right here (church), the whole tribe of the Lord, and the Lord is teaching us through our circumstances a new level of focus. The TV, which represents the noise of the world—everything that is going on in the world that speaks against the truth of God’s word, whether it’s the economy, or spiritual things that are coming against you, or physical people—the noise of a fallen world. We are coming to a place where our focus is so tight on the Spirit of God, who is in us as we come together, that it doesn’t matter what’s going on in the world around us and how it’s blaring at us, we will be able to be effective in the Kingdom.

If there is a special key to success in your spiritual and personal life, it should be the power of praying in the gift of tongues or as it is sometimes called; Praying in the Spirit. Since tearing you down and even killing you is satan’s primary focus, then building you up in the Spirit of God must be your priority focus as well. You can build yourself up by praying in the spirit.. (Jude 1:20) But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Spirit provides you with power. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is your key to walking in the power of God. In (Acts 1: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. You get the power AFTER the Holy Ghost.

Read these scriptures….Ephesians 6:18 NAS With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all saints. Ephesians 6:18 Amplified Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all manner of prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).
Here in Ephesians, He has been talking to you about putting on your armour and then all of sudden He is telling you to pray in the Spirit. When a soldier puts on his armour, he then goes to battle. When you put that with the scripture Jude 20, But, ye beloved, building up your most holy faith praying in the Holy Ghost, then it makes perfect sense. We don’t know exactly how to pray about some things. The Holy Ghost will do it for us. And sometimes we need a Holy Ghost charge, so we pray in the Spirit. We’re like rechargeable batteries. Sometimes we need a recharge.
It isn’t impossible to be a successful believer without the Baptism of the Holy Spirit but I believe it is much harder than it needs to be if you can make it without it. Also it is certainly impossible to stand with the whole promises of God active in our lives without the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit is there to help us pray when we don’t know how to pray. It is there to lead us…to teach us…to comfort us…to help us…and so much more. How on earth are we to receive all that the Holy Ghost has for us if we don’t have the Holy Ghost?
We are in the last hours of the last days right now in Church History. We need the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit more than ever. If you have not been filled with the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues, find someone to pray for you or just get on your knees yourself. If you need more knowledge about it write me back and ask. I will gladly send you some literature on it. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit was the single most life altering thing in my whole life other than Salvation. It totally changed my life. It will totally change your’s as well.
If you would like to receive the Holy Spirit, you do it the same way that you received Salvation…by faith. Ask the Lord to Baptize you in the Holy Spirit and give you your heavenly prayer language. He will give you more and more as you use it. Recently I discovered that a friend that I have gone to church with for 25 or 30 years was not filled with the Holy Spirit. Be alert. Don’t let someone slip by you. Pray for them. It is too important to miss. If someone doesn’t have it, give them some literature to build their faith. I recommend “Why Tongues” by Kenneth E. Hagin, Sr. The more knowledge you have about any subject the more faith you will have. (Romans 10:17) Then they will have faith to receive.
Pray in the Holy Ghost. Build yourself up. As I have been telling you , we are in the last days. We need all of the power available to us.

My holy people; now is the time to begin to connect with those to whom I am sending you. Now is the time to do all that you can to connect with those around you, in the place you find yourself living.

Here, in this scripture, you find Paul living with those that work in his same trade as a tentmaker. While doing that work, he also ministered in the local synagogue, persuading people to consider Me and to follow Me.

Much of the work of evangelism is just talking with people, right where they are at. Love them right where they are and speak My Word to them as you have occasion. In the most inopportune times, you will find that I place you amongst people that need to hear about me. Some will gladly hear and receive Me. Others will push back and will not understand. Those that push back the hardest are blinded by the god of this world, and for these it is important that you fast and pray.

For this kind requires fasting and prayer. Those that are blinded. Those that cannot hear. Those that are slow in speech. This kind requires fasting and prayer and if you will do this, you will see Me make changes like never before.

I am looking for a people that have enough boldness to stand up to those that believe differently. It is imperative that you contend for them in this way. For who else would contend for their souls?

Some would say they have no idea what to say. Then read some things and find something that will work for you. I have sent the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you in pursuing Me and finding Me and sharing Me. I am mighty to save.

11-6-08 Winds of change? Winds of destruction?

I was sitting in my bedroom gazing at the woodland scene outside the window. As I watched the wind suddenly increased and became very powerful.

The wind changed the view and it was as if I was observing a newsreel on TV. The scenes that I saw took my breath away. Earthquakes, war, streets filled with blood. I beheld starving children and people dying of thirst and hunger. Displays of devastation, violence and chaos. I saw government internment camps and places where people (saints?) were in hiding.

I knew that all of these heartrending things were taking place in America for there was a backdrop of the flag and yellow ribbons tied to trees.

The Lord then gave me these verses.

Re 8:5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.
Re 8:6 So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
Re 8:7 The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
Re 8:8 Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.
Re 8:9 And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
Re 8:10 Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.
Re 8:11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.
Re 8:12 Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.
Re 8:13 And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!"
