Here is something to think about:
In Matt, Mark, and Luke we find Jesus prophesying to the apostles (Christians) about the Great Tribulation. He says "this generation" which is the generation of the fig tree which are the Jews coming back into Israel. Note this that the generation of the Jews coming into their own land was 40 years and it will be again as Solomon says "what has been will be". Keep in mind that Jerusalem was taken back in 1967. We are all called to be watchmen for the people and to sound the alarm. I am not predicting the coming of our Lord but warning of the great tribulation the he warned us to be prepared for and to endure. Remember that as Christians we are made for tribulation. It is our wittness. We are not appointed to wrath but for a light in troubled times. No matter what you read in the Bible tribulation has always brought on the wrath and God's people were led out of it, but they had to endure tribulation. Watch and pray that you may endre!
