Hi everyone
I bought a long denim skirt a while back on holiday and I thought that the cross and flames were representative to me of the holy spirit and the cross. But now I have taken a closer look and I'm just not sure.
I will just describe the symbol-
Its a cross, with the ends of the cross finishing in a diamond shape
There are flames around the cross
and then at the top there are 2 horns (?) which start at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical bars and they point upwards
and then there are 2 more flared bits going down to the bottom.

I am starting to think this looks dodgy and I would like some confirmation... I have some trusty scissors awaiting if it proves to be something satanic! I never really saw the horns before, if that is what they are. I am thinking that horns are bad ???

I would suggest that you take the skirt to either a minister for confirmation either way. Or perhaps you can take the skirt into a Christian bookstore and ask the sales clerk what the symbols might mean, many of them are well read up in this area.

Why in the world Stephen thinks the substitute sacrifice of the Ram in the thicket supplied by God as a "type" of Christ to Abraham is a "devil rant" as well as the Shofar is beyond any True Christian and beyond any sound mind, and clearly reveals Stephen's erroneous and skewed perception.

Your heart was revealed the moment you saw the image and by the meaning you placed on it...maybe there's a reason for the spirit' moving in your purchase of this...wear this garment and see if someone doesn't ask you what the image means? Maybe that you should have an opening to tell someone about your faith and encourage them, you never know!
