Full Version: Anyone Hear Of A Comet/meteor To Hit N Atlantic Soon?

Hi! Please don't laugh, but I have heard that an Irish monk by the name of St. Columcille/Columba (521-597) prophesied about Ireland up to the end times, and that supposedly 7 years before the "last day" a comet is supposed to hit the North Atlantic and completely submerge Ireland, with the tidal waves destroying cost lines on each side of the Atlantic... I lost all my notes on this specific timing (arrgghh!), and wondered if anyone had heard or seen this too?

I found some information online about St. Columcille that says this:

'St. Columcille/Columba (521-597)
Seven years before the last day, the sea shall submerge Eirin [Ireland] in one inundation."

and:

Saint Hildegard (12th Century)

"The time is coming when princes and peoples will reject the authority of the Pope. Some countries will prefer their own Church rulers to the Pope. The German Empire will be divided.

Before the comet comes, many nations, the good excepted, will be scourged by want and famine.

The great nation in the ocean that is inhabited by people of different tribes and descent will be devastated by earthquake, storm, and tidal wave. It will be divided and, in great part, submerged. That nation will also have many misfortunes at sea and lose its colonies. [After the] great Comet, the great nation will be devastated by earthquakes, storms, and great waves of water, causing much want and plagues.

The ocean will also flood many other countries, so that all coastal cities will live in fear, with many destroyed. All sea coast cities will be fearful, and many of them will be destroyed by tidal waves, and most living creatures will be killed and even those who escape will die from a horrible disease. For in none of those cities does a person live according to the Laws of God. A powerful wind will rise in the North, carrying heavy fog and the densest dust, and it will fill their throats and eyes so that they will cease their butchery and be stricken with a great fear."

But I was wondering if anyone has any info from NASA or other sites that monitor our atmosphere for incoming comets or meteors in out vicinity right now? Just curious!
The only other thing I could find on this in lieu of the website link I lost, was on You Tube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPNzL-lLAis

It covers alot of what he wrote down...sorry for the irrating music on that.

In any case - I would appreciate any help if you can give it...It is a topic that interests me and if anyone has had a dream or vision about this I would like to hear that also..

Thanks

Near-Earth Asteroids
Potentially Hazardous Asteroids (PHAs) are space rocks larger than approximately 100m that can come closer to Earth than 0.05 AU. None of the known PHAs is on a collision course with our planet, although astronomers are finding new ones all the time.
On November 11, 2008 there were 998 potentially hazardous asteroids.
Nov. 2008 Earth-asteroid encounters:
Asteroid

Notes: LD means "Lunar Distance." 1 LD = 384,401 km, the distance between Earth and the Moon. 1 LD also equals 0.00256 AU. MAG is the visual magnitude of the asteroid on the date of closest approach.

Jesus said we should flee to the mountains (high grounds?)

Reminds me of the St-Malachy prophecies, in witch he prophecied the lineage of popes.

He prophecied in one year there would be three popes.

In 1979 pope Paul 6 died, John Paul 1st named pope and died the same year 30 days after, and John Paul 2nd was named.

All in the same year. Now Benedict is the 2nd last pope 111 th before the last pope takes stage Malachi prophesied the 112th pope would be in charge when the end would come.

Exciting times for sure let us not be dismayed at the signs as the gentiles are. We have our mountain, mount Sion.
