My point here is that many churches teach that tithing is part your salvation. That in order to be saved you first "belong" to the church by tithing. It's a false doctrine and should be shunned. Tithing was not giving money to the church. It was giving a tenth to the tribal leaders, who gave a tenth of that to the synagogue. But churches who demand that money be given directly to them because it is tithing, are false teachers.
I don't believe that money is the root of all evil. Love of money is the root of much evil. If money were evil, then why would God return to Job all that he had before? My point is, money will not help you enter the Kingdom of Heaven no matter how much you give. Especially if you give with intention of buying a spot in heaven.

no money no roof over your head we would all be living on the street i tythe and i see nothing wrong in tything
if we were to say do what was done in the old days you would see empty churches all over the world or what hapens in my fiancee country some pastors and christians have out side services where they sit under a big old tree right now our sister church that got destroyed by the last typhoon were that ship was turned over in the philippines the pastors and the members are meeting out side unitl enough funds are raised to build a new worship hall
in the old days they offered grain vegtables and fruit as part of their tythe and even animals were offered the levitical preist hood got given no money back in those days i looked into this and thought about it
money keeps you from ending up on the streets with out money the world would not be able to function
we would not even be having this conversation thats how it was in the old testament
what our members give in our five churches my fiancee and her main pastor have planted in the philippines goes towards our school and pays our teachers to teach the kids who come to our school we believe a child has a right to an education our teachers dont get much what they get is $200 a month my fiancee Lives on $300 a month and the left over money pays the bills like electricity and then we help out the poor
money is not root of all evil as some proffessing christians say what the root of evil is is how some have gotten selfish to were they dont put what they hear into action were the poor in their countrys they live in are being helped
like running work shops were a poor person can learn a new trade so they can provide for their familys wells put in so they dont drink the water from the dirty creeks in there villages schools set up so every child gets the right to a decent education money put aside for medicen like what hapens in our churches in the philippines
this is what we should be doing instead of wasting our hard earnt money on the buildings we meet in
giving aid to a poor pastor say in india and in the philippines helping out an orphanage were our tythes we give on sunday get sent to the orphanage we want to support and make sure its not going to a con man like the con men i have run into from nigeria
we have a member hear who is seeking aid he needs christians helping him out i notice when ever chrio puts up a new post on the needs of the orphanage this forum supports all you get is thanks chrio i am praying chrio i now a few members have given aid if i was not focusing on our needs in the philippines i would be raising up support for this orphanage from my side of the world but i can only do so much my focus and the money i raise from australia goes to the main church in bacolod and my fiance makes sure what we send gets given to the pastors under her and goes towards our school we have set up in our main church in Bacolod

every time i give god makes sure i never go with out my money i get gets sent to the philippines it does not go towards my church in australia i told the pastor dont expect any tythes from me i wil pray over you i wil support you but what i earn goes to my fiancee and she in return makes sure it goes were its needed
poor pastors in india and in the philippines and the missonerys need our help dont do what the catholics are doing by having your hard earnt money you earn wasted on keeping their cathedrals pretty help out a poor pastor in a third world country or this orphanage if every one did their bit we would not have kids in poor countrys going with out no child should be starving or going through the tip or begging like i have seen when i go into the philippines

People keep the first day of the week (sunday) and not the seventh day, and sunday is not written one time in the Bible, to keep as Holy convocation, lets see why they won't change

ask a sunday preacher why he worship on the first day of the week instead of the seventh day and see what say, look him right in the eye.
