Valerie just called me - (like noon time in Oklahoma) she fell and thinks her foot might be broken. She was able to crawl out of the wash room and get to to a phone (all the time trying to not pass out). 911/emergency is on its way. Her husband is on the way home. Her grandson is sleeping in a back bedroom. I was able to pray with her before hanging up the phone...

Please lift her up to the Father in the name of Jesus.

well... she's a bit out of it... she didn't yet go to the hospital - she's gonna have her husband take her - she as a kiwi size something on the side of her ankle...

I asked her... about 911 and going to the the hospital... she must have been extremely out of it... she doesn't remember telling me anything except asking to pray for her.

she's still waiting for the son-in-law to arrive to take the baby before going to have it checked out

Thank you all so much for your prayers.... and Dani for putting this request out! Well thankfully it is not broken. Honestly I cannot believe it, whew I have never felt pain or heard a pop like that before! Like Dani said... ny ankle is about the size of a piece of kiwi fruit. The whole foot and ankle is black and blue. They did tell me because of the extreme swelling that if the pain consist for more than a few days; then I need to have it x-rayed again. They said that fractures sometime do not show up until the swelling goes down.

Please pray that I do not have to take these strong pain pills for very long..... it is just not a good thing!

I love you all, thanks for your prayers..... I have certainly felt them.

that th is happened to you, and that you're in so much pain.

PRAISE THE LORD! Val, if the pain does persist after the swelling goes down, please do go in for that xray. I had a hairline fracture in the top of my arch, and went a solid year, with terrible pain especially at night, without knowing I had actually fractured the foot. It took me spraining my other ankle, for the dr. to ask to xray the other foot. He confirmed the hairline fracture, and also the onset of osteoporosis. I am praying and believing that you will be fine in a few days.

I will demonstrate the forgiveness that Jesus taught me, and pray for your speedy healing.

I once tore off the ligaments of my ankle 100% and ended up in plaster for 7 weeks while studying for exams, so I know the pain this can cause.

I have stayed off of the foot most of the day. The swelling has gone down
so much.... praise the Lord! I am still experiencing all kinds of pain though... I
am sure I will for a few days. The medication has made me sleep much of the day
which is probably a good thing. Anyway... thank you so much!

Thanks guy.... still in some pain but I am feeling better. I have not taken any pain killers this morning, I am going to try just the advil route today. Actress? Nope.... I did do some local stuff , a few musicals and plays.... I have done more singing than acting though. Why do you ask? I am just an ex-druggy that the Lord delivered about 15 years ago! All praise to HIM! So that is why I do not even like to take any type of medication unless it is just absolutely necessary. That is certainly why I asked for prayer about the meds in my 1st post.
