Vijaya Bhaskar is a pastor in India with an orphanage that we help support. They are the ones that suffered with the typhoons, and we covered their repairs. He just sent this letter to me a few days ago:

Brother presently orphanage condition is notfine and good. All are fine except two children. They both are
in very serious condition. Simon, prasanth are suffering with severe stomach pain They are unable to drink and eat
whatever they drink & eat they are vomiting. I have consulted doctor and made a checkup.
They gave medicines but yet not cured. Again i consulted doctor they told to take another hospital
and take scan. As i am unable to show in a big hospital and also the condition is serious so i have sent
them with their grand mother. Please pray for their health.
Since 1 week I'm suffering a lot because of lack of provisions in orphanage. From last three days no rice in
orphanage. I have taken rice from my home and fed them. We are praying by the word of God
Mathew 7:7 one believer beside the orphanage gave 15kgs of rice. Everday we are praying
and looking toward God for help. No vegetables from two days. Only green leafy vegitables
are used as curries. Because of lack of provisions and as i am unable to pay salary in time
to the cook they want to quit orphanage work.
Kindly you and Sister Cindy pray for us. All orphan children are praying for you. I and my wife are praying for your health.

I sent $100 in faith to Vijaya yesterday as emergency food money. Today, someone gave $100, and another $25! Hallelujah!

Brother this support i purchased the provisions.

The two children condition is still same they did not got complete healing presently I am using medicines for them. Kindly pray for their health. In orphanage from 10 days there are no provisions, from 3 days I am suffering a lot to feel them. Children are also suffering. On Sunday (2-11-08) the rice which I got as offering in church I used to that to feed orphanage children. I made many debts from outside. Now I can't take any more money on debts. Only through prayers I am feeding them. In my service with God I have never experienced this kind of situation. One side there are no provisions - bedsheets and Blankets. I am facing many troubles. I have been getting invited to many places as speaker but I am not attending because I am worrying about how to feed orphan children. Due to this I am neglecting Gods work also.

Kindly pray for all these needs. Due to all these financial troubles and orphanage children, I shoult not move far from God. I should be close to God. I have to be a testimony to God. Pray for all these requests. It is very burden to me to pay rooms rent and staff salary. Kindly pray for me.

It will probably cost $5 per blanket and sheet. That's $300. Winter is fast approaching. We received another $50 so now we have $75 towards that. I'll ask Vijaya how much he can get them for. God bless you all for caring and helping. It is a good feeling to make a difference directly in the lives of children who don't even have a mommy or daddy to hug them and tuck them in.

After presenting the need in my local church, several people handed me money / checks, along with what has come in from the forum, we have $250 toward the blankets and sheets. I still haven't heard from Vijaya. I hope he's alright. In a few days we send out the monthly support. Not much has come in for that or Chinnam this month, but the month is young. Thanks to those who are praying and giving, may God bless you abundantly.

I ask for those that are named after You, Mercy and Grace. I come boldly before Your
throne for these that minister to the weakest...the little children and the elderly. I speak
the Blood of the Lamb over these and rebuke the spirit of Amelek...that one that would
pick off the defenseless. I declare God, in Jesus name, is the defense of these and I
speak abundance to flow to these that need so little to survive, but the help of food and
shelter. Holy Spirit please convict us for these that are in our midst. Let us fast from
our plenty to feed these that are asking it of us. And if it be possible, give two coats...

Brother due to cyclone in Andhra Pradesh. It rained continuously for 24 hrs. due to this orphanage roof was leaked. I will submit those photos. Due to no blankets orphan children are suffering severe cold due to this cyclone effect water was stacked inside the building due to leakage.

As promised I think it is time to give an update...
And this update is also a testimony for God's Goodness, even though the road may be longer than we wish, it is in HIS Hand.

For the first step has proceeded in a way that I perceive as a miracle from God.
This first step is: the potential buyer has signed today the contract to purchase my house, for a price above the original mortgage... unconditionally, that means in case he does not manage to sell his house withing the next 6 months, he has to buy mine anyhow.
It was the voice of God who said to go tell my neighbours about the house for sale, and sure enough, the first neighbour came the next day and said a friend of his was interested. Well... they came and God had them fall in love with the house. In a time of economic crisis, within 6 weeks, God forged this deal.

Now comes the next step, that is that the buyer sells his own house quick. I heard that they already have a an interested visitor and I trust God that He will also provide a door that opens.

Humbled I thank you for your prayers, may God Bless You Abundantly, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Added:
Then, when all is done, I will go east to do that what Jesus has asked, to feed and clothe those who have no parents to rely on for security and love. Maybe if I extend to them that which I learned while being bugged by the enemy and not backing down, I think they deserve to feel secure and loved.
At that point, the day after all the sales are done, I will leave my country and this forum for that purpose.

All this, of course with the footnote that if God wants it differently, He will surely let me know.

Hi J,

I wanted to share that at the beginning of my walk...I needed to sell my home.
I prayed and a friend had a Christian real estate agent. He came and we prayed
within a week I had a buyer that paid cash above price, paid the closing and other
associated costs...

The house was lovely...I have seen it about three times since and all the trees
have made it quite a retreat...o to have it now as a retreat would be wonderful,
however, God had me to walk with Him...and the road gets more narrow as we go
along...until He places us in a wide place to extend our tents. He causes us to
give up this and that along the way, so the He can give us the desires of our hearts.
That is to please Him by keeping the faith in our difficulties and leaning on Him only.

I am praying that He will use mightily, in as much as it seems that He has provided
a sense of direction and urgency.
