Please pray for our church. We are having a 4 day Prayer Revival, followed by a month long Prayer vigil.

I have to say, this is the best Revival, to be attending! Brother Austin, is really giving us understanding of why we need to pray, and how to pray effectively. Last night, he shared about the HOLY SPIRIT and how we are to pray for our church and others, with the right heart, using the examples given to us in the BOOK of ACTS. He said, that the LORD wants to communicate with us, and HE has given us such a blessed way to communicate to HIM, through HIS SON, JESUS. One thing he said, really struck home, with me, is a Church that really prays in unity, will continue to be used in the community. Churches that loose sight of the importance of prayer, often die out, because they have lost sight of what is important. So Prayer, is a foundation stone, for churches!

Tonight is the last night of our Prayer Revival. Please pray for our Church, as we will begin a month long prayer vigil. Our Church is an inner city Church, and it has potential to reach a lot of people. We are praying for the LORD to bring in the City, and use our Church, as a BEACON of HIS LIGHT.

your church went through what the church i use to be a member did and right now god is answering and people who use to belong to the church are comming back people in the neighbour hood are wanting to know more about thie church people who were out of work have been placed in full time work god has even set members free
what we did is this we repented fasted everyone got involved and if you could not come to the night that was set aside for fasting and prayer the pastor also alowed god to have his way in the sunday morning service were he would not bring in a message but have us seeking god for the hour the kids were looked after they were told to go to the back part of the hall were our sunday school teachers did some activities with them while the adults and young youth prayed for the half hour this is what my old pastor did
when the pastor stood up and said what he felt needed to happen a lot of members disagreed saying things are fine when he took on the role as head pastor he did not want anything sticking to him or his family or us who were new we got right behind him he adressed why we needed to come before god and he did not hold back we also got the chance to share openly what we were picking up that needed to be dealt with
the old pastor did not do a thing he would not follow up on the ones who were hurt and left a lot of the world was evident in this church satan had more rule in this church members fighting and when a new person would come to check the church out they were turned off by what they saw the old pastor did not alow no one to move forward or did he alow any one to use the gifts god had given them he was in total control he even controled the leaders he picked to help him the last straw came when he put his own son into a position that should have been given to some one with experiance his son took on the role as youth pastor and if you did not like it you were told not to come back
the worship band obeyed the pastor and only played what he wanted them to play
were the church is set up its set up in a hot zone when i say hot zone its a bad area were unemployed familys live housing comission homes and drug dealers would move to where our church is and would deal out of the area the young people controled the streets at night houses got broken into a fair bit if a new family moved in that family would be targeted by the local thugs no one was safe drug dealers from sydney rented out houses and dealt drugs
know what is happening is this a peace has settled over the area the cops even notice it drug dealers have been busted and sent to jail no longer do the youth control the streets familys can walk freeley with out being hassled for money or the husband having two or 4 guys bash him and take his wallet no longer is the church being broken into no longer are the windows being smashed what is happening is non believers who live next to the church are keeping an eye on the church and if they see any one hanging around at night they are told to leave if they dont listen the neighbour wil grab hold of them and call the police this never happend when the old pastor was in control the church got broken into and the windows would always be smashed
we did this for 6months not one month
the land was even dedicated back to god we prayed not just over the church building but over the land and on certain nights we would walk around the neighbour hood and pray over every home asking the lord to touch the familys living in these homes asking he would open up a window were we can share the true gospel christ preached with out saying you wil go to hel or judging what a person does we just asked god to touch those familys
my old pastor and the team under him stil do this to this day monday nights are our prayer meeting night what they wil do is walk around the area and pray
even non believers are feeling the diffrence in there streets and they are talking
this is only hapens when you get real and come before god and let him deal with what he needs to
we have also done this in the church i am a member of know i know what hapens when we fast and pray and seek god he responds but first you have to repent fal on your face and let him have his way with you
i thought i would share this i dont want to throw what you are puting hear freedom of course
i heard that sevral big dealers got busted big crops growing in the forest where found one crop over 2million dollars this is all to us praying over our contry town none of this would have hapend if we just slacked of and the police would not have been able to shut these dealers down we even pray over the police and the police send in prayer requests we had the commisoner of crime talk in our church and he told us what the police officers put up with every day and thanked us for praying for him his police officers and the drug squad and the detectives

Damo, PRAISE the LORD I'm glad that you are witnessing the POWER of PRAYER, when it is ANSWERED. The LORD will continue to move and bless those within your Church, as long as they remember to intercede and pray. One thing I believe the LORD is waiting on, is more people to take up the BANNER of PRAYER. Not just praying here and there, but really getting into the heart and seeking the LORD to move. Your community have witnessed this AWESOME POWER!
I know that one month doesn't seem like much, but what we have discovered, is one month of doing something, creates a new habit. For many of our members, it will be relearning to intercede for the Church. That is the first focus for us. I believe the LORD is moving in our Church, and preparing our hearts, for what HE WILLS for us. This is only the first of many such Revivals, to come. Most of the congregants are senior citizens, and most feel that there is little that they can do. But, what I am doing within the Women's Missions and soon, the Children's Church area's, will awaken a calling to prayer. Many churches today, are dying, because they have forgotten intercessory prayer. One woman asked, how I planned on getting children to come. I told her I am depending upon your prayers. She was floored, but this is the TRUTH. The Evangelist, told them tonight, that the Church will not grow, if they do not pray, according to the WORD. Over tha last several days, they have been shown several prayer warriors in the BIBLE, and given a one month, daily prayer focus with scriptures. The alter call, left few sitting in their seats. I believe the LORD is moving this Inner City Church, to reclaim our city. There are so many people that have never heard about JESUS, right here in our own neighborhood. This is the one thing, I mentioned to our Pastor, before joining this Church. I asked him, his vision, for the Church, and for the community. He answered, the LORD'S WILL be done. I have challenged this Church, to really get to the heart of CHRIST, and reach the community we live in. The LORD has given me several dreams and visions, of this happening, and I am standing in AWE of HIS POWER to move on HIS PEOPLE. "If we will humble ourselves and pray, and seek HIS FACE..."

you are so right by saying this this is what the lord has done and placed on my heart today sadly the church is not as alive as it was back in pauls time or when jesus was walking the earth this is why ther is so much disagreement from with in freedom
i wish i could show you what the lord is doing in the philippines i am going to be again away from this forum i leave on the 1st of dec and wil not be back in australia until the 7th of jan 2009 this is where my old pastor got the courage to do what he did in christian out reach center in armidale new south wales
in the philippines freedom its not just the pastors and a few people and a few old ladys who come to the friday night prayer meetings the whole church turns up young people the kids who go to our sunday school with their mother and father and grand parents our prayer meetings are like our sunday morning services we also have saturday prayer meetings in the main church in Bacolod the members turn up at 6am and its the same with the other 4 sister churches planted with in Bacolod and bantan island were our new church is which is in la castelana which is a 2hr bus drive from Bacolod our members come to the 5am saturday morning prayer meeting and we finish at 7am freedom
when i landed in the philippines on the 28th of jan 2008 i stayed for only 3 weeks i could not believe what i saw unfold i told my fiancee who wil be my wife on the 18th of dec 2008 who is the head pastor when her main pastor goes back to amercia i told her in australia you wil only have say 5 people turn up to the prayer meetings i said australians only come to the sunday morning service when the pastor says come to the prayer meetings on the given day they have them the hands get put up but its only the older generation and sevral women who turn up my fiancee could not believe it she said this is how we are winning so many to the lord we pray every day threw the week and then on fridays and saturday mornings before the sunday morning service everyone gets involved
freedom i saw 5 to 19 yr olds male and females crying out before god asking god to use them to reach out the young people in la castelana i saw 19 to 45 yr olds doing the same i had 5 little ones pray over me freedom tears were flowing down my face to what i witnessed and it was not put on freedom like i have witnessed in australia when i told my pastor he said this is what is needed hear he talked to my fiancee via email she wrote to him encouraged him i gave him also emails she sent to me the book that got my pastor going was holy spirit i hunger for you by CLAUDIO FRITZEN This aog pastor had 8 old ladys coming to the prayer meetings and to the sunday service him and his wife and child lived in the church he was mexican he came very close to leaving he had a letter ready to hand over to the aog church and he stated his reasons why al his friends were pastoring big congregations and hear is this dear pastor who only has 8 old ladys turning up to the prayer meetings and to the sunday morning service freedom one night god shook him and threw god doing this this pastor took the gospel christ preached to the streets he talked to anyone who would listen he would hold healing services in the mal drug adicts junkies street kids sex workers stoped to listen to him he know has one of the bigest chruches and when revival broke threw pastors from al over the world came to his church just to be refreshed and hear this mighty man of god preach i have the book but its being read now in the philippines when one member finishes reading the book its passed on my old pastor preached from this book and from what my fiancee shared to him
the kids in la castelana give up their time to be with god and they dont flake it freedom i encouraged our young people in la castelana i said you have been a blessing to me i said this is what is needed in my country australia were our young people stop wasting there free time playing the x box coming on to on line forums hanging out with their mates and only turn up to the saturday youth group what we have pastors in the city i am living in are jealous freedom i said this can hapen but you need to get real and fal on your face and repent and cry out for mercy
i cant weight to be around our young people and the kids in our sunday school freedom our youth group in la castelana has grown from 20 to 50 the sunday school has grown from 15 kids to 100 kids freedom we have new familys also coming to the family service in la castelana
give it time freedom just keep doing what you are doing encourage the citizens who have been coming to these meetings tel them god can stil work threw them
the old church i left is going good freedom this is what hapens when you pray god responds and the enemy loses his grip my old pastor said the neighbours are now open to him they listen to him due to what we did and they do this every year freedom
i go over the long weekends back to the country town i was living in and i wil pray with the pastor and the men we book out a cabin leave our mobils phones in the car and turn them off and for 4 days we pray from friday to monday lunch time as our long weekends some of us come from all over the place and you have to be back for work on tuesday
you can share this if you want i would like to take a cam recorder and set up something hear freedom but with what i have seen in this forum its running on fear we have a lot of doubters so i dont want to set something up that is not going to be use full were it blesses some one
when thes young people and our sunday school kids get together and pray we dont tel them to shut up and say its only for the adults we let them do as they please our young people lead the sunday morning worship service freedom
i wil pray over you and your church and i wil share this with my fiancee when i land in manila on the 1st
be blessed and have a blessed day freedom god wil move freedom nothing is impossible with god we just have to die to the doubt and believe and be willing to try some thing new step out of our comfort zones die to some things we hold on to give up our time we waste watching tv to where we come with like minded souls and pray over our selves over our citys and over the pastors and members who belong to difrent denominations asking the lord to refresh them touch them and heal his people this is what is needed instead of arguing over pathetic subjects that get us no where
threw prayer is how we wil revive the church from its sleep and its threw prayer we wil win the lost over and its threw prayer god wil have reign in our citys country towns and our neighbour hoods were no longer pimps drug dealers or thugs are running our neighbour hoods we live in this happens when we say enough is enough

AMEN! Damo, thank you for sharing this TESTIMONY of the LORD moving through INTERCESSORY PRAYERS. I am believing the LORD will do the same, here, too!
