Ok, my sister didn't even want me to know about this, so I am not going to mention names or anything.

I have a good friend who I believe is a Christian. This friend has always shown a different attitude towards things, but he always seemed happy and all. Well, lately, he has posted some things on his facebook that might be interpreted as suicidal, but until now they didn't seem that serious. Today, I just found out he was taken to the hospital because of some apparently severe depression. I really don't know what to do about this, other than pray. As I haven't talked to him, and don't know the full story, I won't jump to any conclusions. But I don't know what to make of this.

Could you please pray for him? That God would just touch his life. If he isn't really a Christian, that he would come to know Christ. If he is, I think he just needs to feel the hand of God, and know that he is loved.

Lord, I ask that you would help this kid deal with his depression and pain, and that you would remove the obstacles that are preventing him from feeling loved. I pray that his friends would open up to him in a bold, loving way, to bring the message that you give hope to the hopeless. This is not the time to be shy or politically correct, for you, Lord, have healed souls in their very hour of darkness, pain and misery. I ask for relief for this young person, in the way of loving caring people.

My friend you have my prayers. Suicidal thoughts are not to be taken lightly by any one. I have been there and done that. I wouldn't be too quick to wonder of his chrisianity for I was a christian when I went through some very bad times in my life. Because of my very close christian friends God did intervene and life got better and I became stronger as God's child. I will be praying for this person because I can relate to such emotional breakdowns I have a heavy heart for all who suffer the same. Keep you faith and see God work as HE always does.

My Father in Heaven, I lift this person up to you this day. I pray with all of my heart, mind, body, and soul for you Divine Intervention. Whisper in his ears how much You love him and what things that you have in store for him. Use him in a way that You have yet to do. I pray that he will hear those precious words and come to realize that YOU are bigger than any problem that any of us will ever have to endure. Oh Father God, fill him with a peace that passes all understanding and call him to You side for guidence that only You can give. Open his eyes to the wonder of your love. Father God I also pray for all those in and around his life that are effected with this and lead guide and direct them all in the path that You would have them to go down. Thank You Father so much for Your LOVE and for the PEACE that YOU fill our hearts with. In Jesus Name I Pray, AMEN ! ! !

igarrett.. i am praying for your friend.. that our Father will lift this darkness from his heart and soul with a revelation of HIS magnificent love and grace and mercy.

I pray too, for you to step out in faith, and love that is of God to be to him all that God is to you - and more.
Pray! seek the Lord.. and obey. The Father wants to change the world thru US.. we are HIS hands .. and HIS feet.. and HIS heart..

Last I heard, my friend has left the hospital, so he is apparently doing better. Getting over this will probably take a while though. I think this is definitely a lesson for me, to always make sure your friends know you care about them (I am guilty here...).

I was thinking, getting him to take videmans for at times, if those things are lacking, it will make one feel depressed. Lots of Sun helps, and exersize. I have had a thyroid proplem for years, and find that if my levels are right, I feel bad. Try telling him to get a blood test done, for finding out if he is lacking in things he isnt getting from his foods. Keeping my sugar down helps.

I will keep him in my prayers.
