Praying always
Prayer is man's direct way of communicating with God; without prayer there is no way the Lord can bless you or forgive you of your sins. There is no communication line between you and the Lord. lets take a look at prayer and why we should pray always.
Luke 18v1-8
1: And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Pray always and don't faint
2: Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4: And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5: Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6: And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7: And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
servants of God cry always before the Lord, day and night asking or begging for something from the Lord
8: I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
The Lord hears and he will avenge!
1Thess 5v15-25
15: See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
16: Rejoice evermore.
17: Pray without ceasing.
pray without ceasing
18: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
in EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS this is the WILL OF GOD
19: Quench not the Spirit.
20: Despise not prophesyings.
21: Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
The Father is Good is what Jesus said before
22: Abstain from all appearance of evil.
abstain from evil
23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
with prayer and asking forgiveness of of your sins you present yourself blameless unto the coming of the Lord
24: Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
25: Brethren, pray for us.
26: Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.
27: I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.
28: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
1Timothy 2v1-8
1: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
all men are to pray, not just Christians ALL MEN!!!
2: For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
We are commanded to lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty!
3: For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
look what it say this is good and acceptable in the sight of the Lord
4: Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6: Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
7: Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
we are told to PRAY everywhere, not just at church or at home, we are told to pray everywhere
8: I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
without wrath in our heart nor doubt in our mind

Ephesian 6v11-18
The Lord commands us to put on the whole amour of God so we can be equipped against the wiles of Satan
11: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
our fight is against the evil spirits and not with man.
12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
here are the pieces of armour we are to put on so we can stand in the evil day.
13: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14: Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
the shield of faith is above all, a person have to believe in Jesus.
16: Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17: And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
you have to have the sword of the spirit with you all times, which is the Bible(the word of God)
18: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
PRAYING ALWAYS be always in contact with the Lord.
Luke 21v34-36
do not become overwhelmed with the cares of this world, always be in aware
34: And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
it can become a snare to you
35: For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
watch and pray always so you can be accounted worthy to escape the things that shall come
36: Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
we all want to stand before the Lord, watch and pray always so this can happen
37: And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
38: And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

and this is the way and words the Lord Jesus said pray.
Luke 11v1-4
teach us to pray, if it good for the disciples, its good for me!!!
1: And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
we start off by acknowledging the Father and not Jesus
Holy is his name
The Father kingdom and Jesus kingdom will come to us, and not us to them.
The Father and Jesus will is done in heaven and when there kingdoms come to the earth there will will be done in earth as it is in heaven
2: And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
ask the Father for your daily bread each and everyday.
3: Give us day by day our daily bread.
you MUST ask forgiveness of sins
forgive those who owe you
the Lord don't lead into temptation, here he speaks of the Great tribulation
we ask to be delivered from evil then and now.
4: And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
Matthew make the prayer a little easier to understand.
Mt 5v5-14
DO NOT pray in public.
5: And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Pray in secret, remember this is between you and the Father, this is YOUR line of communication.
6: But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7: But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
don't keep repeating yourself when you pray, the Lord can hear what you are saying.
don't make a long prayer make it to the point and direct.
8: Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
The Father knoweth what you need of, make the prayer short and direct.
9: After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10: Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11: Give us this day our daily bread.
12: And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
14: For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

John 16v21-26
21: A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
22: And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
The Lord said ask of him nothing, we are to ask in the Father's name and HE WILL GIVE IT!!
23: And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
24: Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
we ask in the name of Jesus
25: These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
26: At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
Jesus will pray to the Father for you. Jesus is the intercessor! He intercedes for us to the Father.
John 15v12-16
12: This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
we are to commanded to love one another
13: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14: Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Jesus says we are his friends IF we do whatsoever he commands
15: Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16: Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
whatever we ask of the Father in the name of Jesus the Father will give.
1Peter 1v13-17
13: Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14: As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16: Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17: And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
these things must be done before we can call on the Father(which is your prayer)
the conversation must be holy
we must be holy

Mt 21v18-22
8: Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
19: And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
20: And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
21: Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22: And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
first ask in prayer
next believe it will happen
and finally you will receive it
John 15v1-7
1: I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3: Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
we become clean by Jesus words(the mind)
4: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6: If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Jesus conditions are you abide in him
He will abide in you
and you ask
then it will be done unto you
Job 22v22-28
22: Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
23: If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
27: Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
28: Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
Job knew the conditions
Job knew the words of God had to be in the mind
put sin far from us
pray to the Lord and know that he hears us,
pay your vows
and it shall be established unto thee

Ps 34v12-15
Remember the Parable we read earlier about God hearing the cry of his people.
12: What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13: Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14: Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15: The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
a man that desireth life(eternal life) want to see Good.
there is no one Good except the Father, Jesus had said.
if you want to see the Father who is the only Good
we must keep the tongue from evil
keep the lips from speaking guile
depart from evil(which we have read numerous times
do good
seek peace and PURSUE IT
why?
the Lord eyes are upon the righteous and he hear OUR CRY!!!
1Peter3v12
Peter just confirms what David had written
12: For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
David call it cry
Peter call it prayer
same thing!!!

Pay attention brother and sisters, and notice what Daniel was praying about.
Daniel 9:20 - And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;
Now lets find the Biblical definition of sin.
1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
So let read something solonmon said that I find very interesting.
Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
Burning out those knees for nothing, those who turn away his or her ear from hearing the law.
Food of thought, sisters and brothers
