I notice a lot of soul wringing and head scratching now.....how did we end up in this mess?


Part One.

Hilary blew it for the Dems, herself and everyone, by running a complacent campaign.
The protracted battle with Obama gave him much needed air-time in which the American public could start to
familiarize themselves with him.


Part Two


When the storm of the economy burst in September, McCain wobbled badly.
His weak spot (economics) was exposed, and the vote shifted significantly towards Obama,
who stayed cool.

It has been noted that McCain appeared not to want to put Obama under pressure in the last 6 weeks, in the debates....
its almost as if, after Lehmann Brothers etc, McCain realized that this Presidency is a poisoned chalice, and didn't really
fancy it.

As a footnote, the McCain camp has started blaming Palin in the aftermath.
I find this appalling...execrable....they chose her, and if they didn't do their homework as to who she
was, then that's their own fault.

Personally, I think she could be a brilliant President 4 years hence.

I saw a flash from upwards and the stock crash and the flash enveloped it. Like, the flash caused it and was enmeshed with it at the same time. I don't think it was God.
Actually, I knew it wasn't God when I saw it. It was the enemy, projecting his power in an instant, and, made it happen.

Been haunting my thoughts all week. Totally weird.

I don't think so. It was like, a flash. It was a split second thing. I saw it, and, I knew, all at the same time.

I wasn't going to say anything because.. I didn't know what it was.
