I am the God of your today.

Sometimes, you feel as if I'm the God of the past. It seems like I used
up My quota of miracles on behalf of ancient Israel and the early church;
or like all My greatest dealings with you are past.

Or, you think of Me as a God of the future. Yes, there are promises that
pertain to you. In one venue or another, there has been a pattern in the
prophetic words that you've received. Words like, "Soon, it hastens to
fulfillment, the answer is just around the corner," have filled your
ears. But after a year, or two, or three, you begin to wonder if you
were mistaken in what you've heard. Perhaps you think I meant the words
for your son or daughter.

Child, I Am. I am not bound by your yesterdays. My power is not exhausted
by what I do for others today, or in the past. I do not give you a
prophetic word, as some would suspend a carrot before horse, to obtain
obedience from you without fulfilling My promises. I am the God of your
today. I am the God of the Yes, and Amen (2 Corinthians 1:20).

Be assured that what I have promised, I am able also to perform (Romans
4:21). So, continue to call to Me, and I will show you great and mighty
things, which you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3). Let My promises sustain
you, for I will not let your hopes be dashed (Psalms 119:116). My
prophetic word will test you, as it did Joseph, but it will come to
pass (Psalms 105:17-20).

Though My word may tarry, it does have it's appointment time (Habakkuk
2:3).

” Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart” [Psalm 37:4]

I’m not sure why something so simple can become so twisted
—the word begins with God not man—desire is not a matter of pointing a finger and saying—enie, meenie, minie mo—I choose my desire to go! Not a slot machine system of name it claim it generosity.

Maturity, recognizes submission to authority that first understands the desire God has sown into the heart. The great value of knowing due process is that with the revelation of desire grows the passion to acquire and the patience to wait on God. ”For the revelation awaits an appointed time, it speaks of the end and will not prove false, though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” [Habakkuk 2:3]

This desire is given in trust—and trust proves its origin—”Those who trust in the Lord…cannot be shaken but endures forever” [Psalm 125:1]

This desire takes time—and time will prove it authenticity— ”The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the first…” [Job 42:12]

This desire takes testing—and testing proves its value—”These have come so that your faith of greater than gold…may be proved genuine …” [1 Peter 1:7]

The circle of desire is conditioned by delight and fulfilled when union with God is complete. Two hearts beat as one—one faith—one purpose—and one desire. It does not grow out of the earth it is sown into the earth by the creator and carried in the heart of those who are the new creation in Christ.

October 29, 2008. You are concerned with hearing from Me. Circumstances tell you that you are on the right path. You know to take the high road but which high road you ask? At times you are double minded and long for a sure word of truth. This is good that you ask of Me. Surely I will answer with that sure word. But first, you must recall the times I have already spoken to you. Meditate on My words to you. Do not doubt or discount the great vision and destiny you have heard from My mouth. Know that My voice is sure and certain without doubt. Therefore, I say move out on the strength of My word. You will not be disappointed. Speaking forth My word will assure the angels to carry out the voice on your lips of My word. Now go and seize the day.
1 Peter 1:18 “We ourselves heard the voice when we were there with him on the holy mountain.” Ras Robinson*

October 29, 2008. You just went through a hard time. It was brief but hard. You are not even sure what this was all about. It wasn’t devastatingly hard, just somewhat hard to understand. Right now you don’t have all the facts to access the meaning. Put this in the back of your mind. Don’t keep it in the forefront or you will not have Godly responses. I will bring it back up when the facts are revealed that bring more understanding. You need not worry things are not as strange as they appear. This is your time to walk in faith. I am praying for you. You will see all will be good.
Jeremiah 9:24 “If you brag, brag of this and this only: That you understand and know me. I'm GOD, and I act in loyal love. I do what's right and set things right and fair, and delight in those who do the same things.” Bev Robinson**

Brand New Creature

October 29, 2008

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

I have done a lovely thing for you, My beloved, a lovely thing. Look on it as such! Thank Me for it now. I tell you that I went to great lengths to make you into the lovely new creature that you are, brand new in Me. Look on this gift of sacrificial love and embrace it. Thank Me for it time and time again, for it is an on-going gift of My love to your heart, beloved, an on-going gift of My magnificent love to your precious heart.

I saw fit to make a drastic change in My beloved. I devised a plan and carried it through. That plan still works today in every heart that will receive from Me. That plan not only works, it fulfills the deep desire in My heart to have My children display My heart of love one to another.

So when you arise every morning, thank Me for the gift that I so ably provided for you. Thank Me for the work that I have done thus far and the work that I will do hereafter in your heart. You will be speaking words that delight the heart of your God. You will be speaking words of truth that will thrill My heart. Do not delay in speaking those words to Me. Do not hesitate to repeat them over and over again to Me, for beloved, the work that I do in My new creatures is an on-going work, an on-going work of love on My behalf, and I do delight in hearing you tell Me of your appreciation. I do delight in hearing your words of acceptance of My on-going work of love!!!

October 29, 2008: I had a vision where I saw myself mount up to the sky and fly like an eagle. As I soared over the valley below I realized that my ability to see was so acute that I could detect even the smallest detail and movement in the landscape. Then, the vision changed so that I was on the ground, and I could see an eagle in the sky above -- hunting, swift, powerful, undaunted. I was aware of his sharp vision and focus, not distracted by anything as he moved on the wind. Even though it seemed to be supernatural from my perspective, he was doing what he was designed to do naturally. And, I believe the Lord was showing me that the supernatural will become a part of our nature as we spend time in His presence and yield to the work of the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 40:28-31 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall. But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

"You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, and did not withhold Your manna from their mouth..." Nehemiah 9:20

Who leads, instructs, and daily teaches you? The Lord gave His Good Spirit to instruct the children of Israel. God's good Spirit, by Moses, instructed them fully, and as they followed the Lord's guidance, they could always be certain of provision and assured of His very best.

The Lord gives us His very best in the Person of the Holy Spirit to instruct us. The word "instruct" in Hebrew means to have success, to have wisdom, to make wise, to guide wittily, or to give understanding. Jesus expounds on the sentiments of this verse in John 16:13 when He shared:

"However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."

And the apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:9-12:

"But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.' But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God."

Tune into the Spirit of Truth!

Wow! How the Lord blesses us with such a wonderful gift in the precious Presence and Person of the Holy Spirit who will instruct us in such ways that we will live our lives wittily for the Lord! The Spirit of truth will lead us and teach us about truth. Truth is not a philosophy nor traditions but a wonderful Person named "Jesus"! He identified Himself as the Truth, the Way and the Life in John 14:6.

The Holy Spirit searches out the deep counsel of God for our lives, reveals and teaches it to us. We are not in tune with the spirit of the world, but with the Holy Spirit who knows the things of God! He wants to teach, declare, and reveal to us all that the Lord has freely given to us!

Is that a great and mighty blessing or what? We have received not the spirit of the world but the Spirit of truth who searches the deep things of God. The deep unto deep things of God! But that's not all, He reveals those deep things to us, instructs and teaches us by them, and guides us by His Eye. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My Eye" (Psalm 32:8, emphasis added).

The context of the word "instruct" in this verse means to be prudent, be circumspect, wisely understand, prosper, to have insight, to teach to act prudently, act wisely, to have success. "Teach," here means to throw or shoot, to point at or like an archer shooting an arrow. To "guide" here means to advise, consult, to give counsel.

Do You See Your Circumstance Through God's Eye?

The fullness of the careful choice of these words in this verse gives us the sense that with His instruction, teaching, and guidance, we will be able to "see" through God's Eye the beginning from the end and the end from the beginning. Joshua saw it so that he could say at the end of his life:

"Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; and not one word of them has failed" (Joshua 23:14).

Inevitability and Certainty

Inevitability and certainty stands for generations when God counsels, instructs, teaches, and guides us, "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure'" (Isaiah 46:10).

When you let God's Good Spirit, the Spirit of Truth's counsel guide and reveal to you how to have insight, how to act and live wisely, how to be successful, and how to prosper, you'll be as a well-tuned arrow that hits the mark often, and this will happen in succeeding ages, even to the end of the world.

May the Lord release a fresh grace and anointing upon you to direct your ways!

Lord, I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that every person who reads this would be in tune with Your precious Holy Spirit. We thank You for deep, deep communion with the Holy Spirit, such that we can live, move, and have our being in tune with the wise broadcasts of Heaven for our lives. Help us to adjust our ears to hear so that there is no interference. Help us to adjust our receiving mode so that we are in a receptive mode for the downloads of the Holy Spirit for our lives. Lord, thank You for the grace to live each day in tune with You.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR

Dear Jesus:

There are times when we think we know what is best for us better than You. In other words, we bite off more than we can chew by choosing something or even someone for our lives that You don’t approve of.

I remember times as a child, how in order to teach me a lesson, adults would allow me to get or do something I wanted really badly, only to find out: 1) It wasn’t at all what I thought it would be; 2) It wasn’t as fun as I thought it would be; 3) Or, that it came with great responsibility that I, as a child, was unable to bear.

In some ways, this reminds me of a saying I heard the other day, “If you light the fuse, you’re responsible for the explosion”. Whether the fuse is representative of something desirable or undesirable, if we light it, we’re responsible for the consequences.

Dear Jesus, You don’t make any mistakes. You sit high and look low. And, while we know and see a piece of the puzzle, You know and see the whole picture. It’s not always easy to trust You, wait on You, or to keep faith and hope alive; but, if we want Your will and Your best, we must often wait on Your timing.

For those who are weary in their waiting and doing all they know to do, please remind them in a very tender way that they are not forgotten. And, grace them to wait patiently and joyously until their change comes as they are busy about their Father’s business.
