I had this dream last night, it started with me looking at a hell like place, it was a dark abyss, with walls looking like massive hot coals. to the sides I saw bodies of dead people burned and floating in the darkness or hitting the walls, there were many of them, then I saw these creatures starting to crawl the walls as if chasing someone. (They remind me of those creatures from I am Legend, and I did not see the movie recently or anything to have this dream) Then I suddenly saw this warehouse looking building, and a man running through the place and hundreds of those creatures chasing him, I remember thinking to myself that this guy might as well give up because he is dead.

As he ran through this building he became cornered in a small room, the creatures caught up and were blocking the entrance without any hope of escape, in the middle of this small room there was a large industrial bin full of pieces of wood and further behind there was a table. After I saw this scene I was transferred into the man, he was me and I was looking through his eyes with terrible fear, then I thought of the roof as my only escape, it was low enough if I stood on top of the table which is what I did after that. The roof looked to be like office roofs where there are rectangular blocks, and so I moved one of them aside, jumped up and grabbed the supporting metals to the roof to haul myself up. As I did I could tell they were right behind me, so I started moving off until I saw another room up ahead. I jumped down and realized I was trapped again and there was no way out. Then I looked to the side and there was an exit that wasn't there before and so I ran there, going down a corridor of windows that showed the world outside. I found a glass door among the windows and when I tried to open it was locked, so I started to panic and when I tried to open it again it was unlocked just as the previous moment with the exit appearing out of nowhere, the door miraculously unlocked itself. I ran outside and got into this silver pickup truck and drove away. As I was driving I remember myself feeling safe, and they couldn't come out to the light. It was a very sunny day outside, I had this detonator in my car and I remember thinking to myself that it would be better to destroy them then to let them run into the world and cause harm to countless other people. I pushed the button and the building exploded.

That was the end of the dream, I'm guessing all those creatures died or were sent back to wherever they came from, which at the moment I think it was hell. I would appreciate any takes on this dream or its meaning.

Sometimes I have dreams where I'll be trapped in a building and bad guys will be trying to catch me. All of a sudden I'll realize, they can't touch me because I can fly. I'll simply fly up and out an open window. If there is no open window, I'll fly through a closed one and the glass won't hurt me. If there are no windows, I'll fly right through the roof and the roof won't hurt me. Once I'm in the open sky, I take off like a jet and leave them far behind.

Indeed, thousands dream of flying.

And the escape from the enemy, provided via your ability to fly, is wonderful.

Did you know, that your term `trapped in a building`, is related to being trapped in a
4 x 4 wall to wall environment/structure ?

The structure/building is as much the issue of the dream, included with the enemy chasing you.

FEELING the building closing in, at work, at events . . . even at home, . . . would be one
