Thank you so much for sharing this, I can see how it is for you and for the whole body of Christ! We must be closer than ever to Him, we must cling to him like our lives depend upon it, for our lives, our very souls are in his hands. Those that truely trust in him and love him will be lifted high by his loving arms. The time is coming when the world will be shaken and we will see and experience things that will be extremely troubling. Yes, worse than what we have seen and experienced so far. In todays scripture I read from James 1:1-18. The parts that jumped out to me were, from James 1:2-4
Dear brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. 3) For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4) So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything.
James 1:12 God bless the people who patiently endure testing. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised them to those who love him.
Just as the early christians endured their times of testing, their faith was shown, even to the point of death. They were tortored, and hurt, and at times lost everything they had, but they did not lose their faith in Christ Jesus. So to we must endure patiently and faithfully, no matter what troubles come our way or to way of this world, for it is all in God's perfect plan. But we must remain strong in our faith, trusting Him, no matter the danger or trials or troubles that come our way. And we must tell the Good News and that Jesus is coming. I also read Ezekiel today and again I was reminded that our responsiblity is to tell what the Lord has shown us and taught us. Ezekiel 33:1-20. This is about the role and responsibility of the watchmen. Ez.33:1-6 says, Once again a message came to me from the Lord: 2) "Son of man, give your people this message: When I bring an army against a country, the people of that land choose a watchman, 3) When the watchman sees the enemy coming, he blows the alarm to warn the people. 4) Then if those who hear the alarm refuse to take action-well, it is their own fault if they die. 5) They heard the warning but wouldn't listen, so the responsiblity is theirs. If they had listened to the warning, they could have saved their lives. 6) But if the watchman sees the enemy coming and doesn't sound the alarm to warn the people he is responsible for their deaths. They will die in their sins, but I will hold the watchman accountable.
For those of who are seeing and listening to what the Spirit of God is saying we are to obey Him in our own lives and do what He commands and we are to tell others, no matter the cost to ourselves. We can expect for most not to listen and turn from their sin,for the Lord warns us of this, but we are to do it anyways, in love, but loving Him more. No matter the scoffing or laughter or turning away, we are to hold fast to what the Lord has told us and is even now revealing to us in these days. I think for me the hardest thing is to be not listened to by other Christians, this grieves my heart so very much. But the Lord always reminds me and comforts me that this is the way it is. They aren't listening to us, for we are only the messengers, they aren't listening to the only who has given the message. They don't recognize His voice and they don't fear Him anymore. But we must still pray and love them. For the Lord says that it is not his desire to destroy them, but to to love them and give them life. It grieves our Lord that they choose death and don't even realize it. I pray that they Lord will give me more of that kind of patient and enduring love that He has for the lost, yet nit grow weary or afraid of warning and telling what He has commanded for us to say.
God bless you all brothers and sisters in Christ, the watchmen.

Thanks for those words!
This part of the passage out of Ezekiel stood out to me. "When I bring an army against a country, the people of that land choose a watchman..."
Just as a people choose who the watchmen shall be and not the person themselves, so God chooses whom He will have to be His watchmen and not they themselves. It helps put things in perspective and takes the pressure off out ability or lack of ability and onto God who must equip us for the task that
He has assigned us to.
And a word to Miki, ---- do not forget the balance. He holds our hand, but we are to hold His too. The Bible speaks about the one as well as the other. We are to cling to Him too. We are to "hold fast" to Him!

Heb 3:6 but Christ as a son, over his house; whose house are we, if we
hold fast our boldness and the glorying of our hope firm unto the end.

Heb 3:14 for we are become partakers of Christ, if we
hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end:

Heb 4:14 Having then a great high priest, who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us
hold fast our confession.

Heb 10:23 let us
hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised:

Rev 2:25 Nevertheless that which ye have,
hold fast till I come.
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and he that keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give authority over the nations:

Rev 3:11 I come quickly:
hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown. Rev 3:12 He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God,...

Thank you for those scriptures, they are all so connected to what is being said. Your right, it is the Lord who chooses His watehmen, we don't choose. But he does give us the choice to serve. For this job is not an easy one, and with it comes a great responsiblity. People like to glamourize the title of watchmen, but it is far from glamourous. It is often a lonely job, with not a whole lot of sleep, (dreams and or intercession). While a watchmen must stand guard at night being alert to the possible attacks of the eneny, and he must warn of the people of the danger, and often is the called to fight as well. But a watchman must also annouce the coming of the King, so that the people are ready for the King. This is the joy of the watchman, to annouze the coming of our King. Yes, our Lord and King is coming soon! and we must be ready now! Praise the Lord Jesus!
