check out this Friend called Jesus, consider his Love for you, don't take it for granted!


Jn 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Mt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Ps 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Prov 12:1 Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
(The mind control the action of the body)

Reproof= reprimand, rebuke, censure, admonition, reprove, to change with fault.

Prov 25 :28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
(hate can walk in and occupy it)

Ps 97:10: Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
(God can't deliver you if you don't obey his words of Love.)

Ps 112: 1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
(blessed is the man that walk in the Lord's words of love)

Jn 15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10: If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11: These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12: This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14: Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15: Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

abide: tolerate, endure, act in accordance with, remain faithful to, a promise, stand, support, suffer, bear

How comforting it is to be chosen as a friend.

Gen 18: 17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
18: Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

Gen 33: 11 And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

2Chron 20: 7 Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?

Prov 18: 24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Isa 41:8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

Lk 14:10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.


Jms 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

all the Lord ask of his friends is,
not to have another to represent him,
no idols and images;
but to keep his love, honor his name, and his holy day.
for his friends to honor their mother and Father
Don't kill his friends
nor commit adultery with his friends wife
nor steal from his friends
nor bear false witness against his friends
nor covet his friends house

if the Lord's friends do this, then the Lord can ask the Father to adopt his friends as son's and daughters.

Gen 6v2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

Jn 1v12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Rm 8v14: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

and Jesus will bring his friends into his house.

Gen 28v17: And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

Ps 65v4: Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

Ps 92v13: Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Mt 21v13: And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Isa 56v7: Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

I would say that Jesus is a lot more that a friend; He is our older Brother.
