BIRTH PANGS AND THE COMING OF ELIJAH

What I love about God the most is that He always wins. No matter what it looks like right now, history will turn out EXACTLY like God said it would from the very beginning in the Bible. Even if entire civilizations of millions and millions of people turn their back on Him and refuse to obey or worship Him, God Almighty stays always the same – and His Word never changes with the passing whims and opinions of each generation.

The Holy Bible is the only sacred book in existence that predicts the future with 100% accuracy. Yeshua our Messiah even told us that it will outlast all of creation, as it is written:

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.” (Matthew 24:35)

So God’s Word is indestructible, totally accurate in every detail, and never changes. That is because it is just like God Himself. We can depend upon it and stake our lives for eternity on its infallibility.

The Bible says that God is primarily three things:

God is Holy.
God is Love.
God is a Consuming Fire.

Now, He is many other things and has many attributes, but these are foundational to one fact: God is the One Sovereign King. He is perfect in purity and holiness. He rules in absolute power. Heaven is not a democracy. He will not try to solicit your vote before He makes any decision. He gives all of humanity only two choices: repent and surrender unconditionally to Him and live forever under His Lordship or be banished eternally from His presence and perish in eternal damnation. Modern man, in his arrogance and pride may be allowed to blaspheme, mock, rebel and ridicule Him for a short space of time right now, but it is written:

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall He speak to them unto them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure. Yet have I set My king upon My holy hill of Zion..Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel…serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little.” (Psalm 2:1-6,9,11-12a)

You see, payday is coming. In fact, it is nearly upon us. Time is running out. God will bring justice to all who have been abused of His people. God will have His day of vengeance upon all the evil and wicked of this earth. In the end, every wrong will be righted; every evil will be avenged; every sin and wrongdoing will be punished. God is as perfect in His justice and wrath as He is in His mercy and love. To Him alone be all the glory, honor and praise forevermore! Amen.

God so loved the world that He gave His only Son to pay sin’s awful price of judgment for whoever falls down and cries out in repentance for their sins to Him. When a sinner repents to God, they surrender their lives totally and unconditionally to Him, forsake their idolatry and sins and choose to live holy and pure lives from then on. Anything else is not true repentance. God will not tolerate sin or idolatry of any kind to stand before Him. Holy is the LORD God Almighty. He is a consuming fire.

The Apostle Peter wrote:

“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation…

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless, we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation...” (2Peter 3:3-15a)

Fire. Fire. FIRE! This earth and all that is in and upon it are destined by God to be purged by fire. That fire has already begun to come into this earth. It shall do two things: refine and purify the overcoming Bride of Messiah into God’s glory and image and it shall burn up all the evil and wickedness of unrepentant mankind. This is what the prophet Malachi wrote about, as it is written:

“But who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when He appeareth? For He is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.” (Malachi 3:3-4)

“For behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi 4:1-3)

Malachi ends the Old Testament with, as it is written:

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” (Malachi 4:5-6)

We have entered into a new time in the earth. We are in a transition period between the end of the times of the Gentiles – the Church age of grace upon the nations – and the beginning of the Messianic Kingdom of one thousand years. The Messiah is coming! Get ready! God is fulfilling his every promise to Jerusalem, Israel, and the Jewish people, as well as preparing His Bride for ruling and reigning forever with Him. He is getting ready to harvest the nations. He is now bringing them all down to the threshing floor, and shaking them out. He will “sift out the hearts of men before His judgment seat” as the great Battle Hymn states.

Starting at the Jewish new year several weeks ago, I believe that we are beginning a season of seven years of world wide harvest. It will be the greatest move of the Holy Spirit that this world has ever seen. The early church only operated in a fraction of the power and the glory that is coming now. We are about to see the rise of the Elijah ministry of prophetic end time glory. This ministry will not rest on only one man but on hundreds of prophets in this hour.

What did Elijah do?

1. He ruled over the release of rain. (He had dominion over nature. He called for both drought and abundance of rain. He had the authority to shut heaven and to open heaven.)

2. He was given supernatural provision both for himself and for others of God’s people.
(He had the miracle power to multiply resources.)

3. He healed the sick and raised the dead.

4. He called down fire from God to judge false prophets and idolatry. (This fire caused the wicked to be forced to acknowledge – “The LORD – He is God”)

5. He had supernatural strength to “run” before governments and take dominion over them.

6. He had open angelic visitations – he had authority to call forth angels from the army of the Lord of hosts for himself and others.

7. He had authority to anoint prophets, kings and government leaders. He could remove them or he could appoint them.

Elisha, his successor, did the same things – only twice as much as Elijah. Yeshua was often asked if he were Elijah when He ministered on earth because the same anointing was upon Him, only in a much greater measure. The Lord is releasing mantles from heaven right now to go forth and bring in the final harvest of the earth. Every great ministry mantle in both the Old and New covenants is now going to be given and released to the Bride so that she can complete the great commission. This “coming of Elijah” is the fullness of the prophets ministry.

Yeshua is coming to the earth through His Bride first to harvest the earth. There will also be apostolic ministry that will exceed those of the original twelve. There will be evangelists that will operate with a greater anointing than Billy Graham or Oral Roberts. Why?, because, when they are taken home in the next few months or years, their mantles will fall on thousands that God is preparing. When these two are taken home, the times of the Gentile nations have ended. God will focus even more upon Jerusalem, Israel, and the Jewish people for the return of our Messiah and the coming Messianic Kingdom on earth.

God is about to shake this world to its’ foundations. Everything that can be shaken is about to be, as it is written in Haggai 2:6-9. There are four realms of shaking. We have just seen the first small ones so far. They are:

1. Extreme nature: earthquakes, fires, floods, famine, drought, pestilence, huge storms such as typhoons, hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, erratic weather patterns causing extreme temperatures and conditions, etc.

2. Economic: sudden collapses and shifts in the Babylonian system of world finance. Entire countries going bankrupt overnight. Sudden losses of energy supplies, boycotts of oil and gas, recessions and depressions that will cause millions to lose their fortunes overnight.

3. War and terrorism: Wars and man made destruction bringing widespread uncertainty and fear to millions. The major cities of the world are particularly vulnerable. This will reach a nuclear level in the not too distant future. Acts of terror WILL come to America and the west.

Note: It has only been God’s mercy that we have had seven years without another major attack here in America since 9/11. This is because of prayer and intercession of the Bride of Messiah as well as God made a covenant with President George Bush that while he remains in office, He would protect America in this area. So you can thank God for putting President Bush in office after all.

4. Worldwide deception: The counterfeit Antichrist message of world “peace and safety”; counterfeit religions and false gospels will grow in strength and numbers; more and more pressure will be put on the Bride of Messiah as well as the Jewish people in the form of persecution and anti-Semitism. The occult, witchcraft, and Satanic demonstrations of supernatural power will grow and grow. Lust, perversion, greed, lawlessness, and violence and drug abuse will grow into flood of evil at a level never seen before in the earth even exceeding the days of Noah and Lot.

Deception will become like a very heavy undertow in a mighty river that will pull anyone down into it unless we heed Yeshua’s warning and “watch and pray” (Luke 21:36). This is the only way to overcome. We must spend hours and hours on our knees in prayer as this darkness and great darkness covers the earth. This is our time to arise and to shine with the glory of the LORD!
(Isaiah 60:1-2)

A note concerning Israel:

The area that President Bush has compromised is in his dealings with Israel. He has allowed enormous pressure on the Israeli government to give in to the other Arab nations concerning settlements in Judea and Samaria, the dividing of Jerusalem, the so-called “two state solution”, and has constantly restrained the Israeli Defense Forces from taking military actions whenever they were attacked. The primary “weapon” that the United States and the “community of nations” has used is economic: money. They have threatened to cripple Israel economically if they do not do what they want. This is blackmail. Therefore, God will judge America in this very area. When we do not stand by Israel, God will IMMEDIATELY judge the USA. Why? Our calling and destiny in America is directly connected to Israel and the Jewish people by covenant.

Do you know why our “heartland” has been hit so hard by hurricanes and floods, and California has been burned so much with fire? This is because we are attacking the “heartland” of Israel – Judea and Samaria – which the world calls “the occupied territories” and we are demanding for the Jews to leave their settlements. God said to me some time ago, “For every Jewish home lost in Judea and Samaria, I will immediately destroy 1,000 homes in the heartland of America. When the most beautiful of my land is burned with fire, I will cause the most beautiful land of America to be burned with fire.”

As I am writing this the Holy Spirit adds, “and for every Jewish life lost as a result of terrorism in Israel, I will require 1,000 lives in the coming attacks upon America. If America tries to divide Jerusalem, I will see to it that America will be divided by an earthquake in the same manner. I will divide her right down the middle.”

Beloved, we must be very careful and prayerful in this area for our leaders. Amen.

A note concerning birth pangs:

Several weeks ago, I had Fox news on my television, and I was watching as Hurricane Ike was coming into Texas. Suddenly, I heard the Lord say to me:

“The water has broken.”

I had no idea what that meant. I thought maybe the levees broke again in Louisiana or something. But the Holy Spirit then said to me:

“This earth is pregnant with the new heavens and the new earth in My coming Kingdom. Just like a woman about to go into labor, this earth is about to go into labor also. When a woman’s water breaks, it is the signal to get her to the hospital. In the same way, there can no longer be any delay. From now on, the contractions are coming faster and harder then ever before. The shakings of judgment upon the earth will not let up until My Kingdom is born. This is only the start of the MAJOR birth pangs. Soon the full labor will begin. I will no longer hold it back.”

Then I checked this out in the scriptures and here is what I found:

Yeshua the Messiah said:

“All these (endtime shakings) are THE BEGINNINGS OF SORROWS (Gr. birth pangs).” (Matthew 24:

“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS. (contractions, birth pangs in the Greek)” (Mark 13:

The Apostle Paul said:

“For the earnest expectation of the creature (creation) waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature (creation) was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope. Because the creature (creation) itself also shall be DELIVERED from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and TRAVAILETH in pain together until now.” (Romans 8:19

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, AS TRAVAIL UPON A WOMAN WITH CHILD; and they shall not escape.” (1Thessalonians 5:3)

A final comment on the upcoming elections:

No one has to announce to the Body of Messiah that the upcoming elections for President are of extreme importance. WE MUST FAST AND PRAY! Don’t believe everything that you are hearing on the news channels. While I do NOT believe that McCain and Palin are perfect by any means – they DO stand for Biblical issues in many areas. If the democrats get a complete monopoly in government and the extreme left agenda is enforced, it will cause a tailspin to America –both spiritually and economically that she will never recover from.

I was speaking to Sister Gwen Shaw a couple of nights ago and she said to warn God’s people that if we don’t pray right now, it will be devastating if Obama gets into power concerning the Kingdom of God and the future of the church in America.

May the Lord continue to bless us, keep us, and protect us as we come into the greatest worldwide shakings, revival, and harvest in all of history!

WORD TO PONDER: FATHERS, COMMISSION YOUR SONS 6/27/08

Dear fathers, overcome your traditions and mindsets to embrace your true sons in the faith. Refrain from using control and soul power to influence them, rather wait on Me and I will give you the provision in counting the cost to cover them.



Fathers in the faith, love your sons. Encourage them to stand strong in the faith and let no one look down upon them for their youth. Encourage them to be examples in conduct, love, spirit, faith and purity. Remember them in your prayers, carry them in their tears and stir up their gifts that you have imparted into their lives. I have given you charge to commission them into double portioned greater works. Your joy shall overflow as you watch your children bloom!

October 22, 2008. Daily, I sort the mail from our mailbox. God told me years ago to be responsible for screening what comes into my home. He said Bev will be in charge of things once they are within our home. As I was sorting mail today, the Lord said I am sorting and screening My harvest. I will take away harmful and useless things. Those who believe in Me will rule My Kingdom on earth. The others will be left to their own devices and My ultimate judgment of their sinful and unbelieving hearts. The wheat is brought into the barn and becomes useful. The husks will burn in the fires of Hades. There is still room for more in My barn. I say unto you go and make disciples.

October 22, 2008. You have slipped back into some judgments of some around you. You didn’t mean to do it, but there are things you observed. For sure there is some wrong or questionable behavior. You have spoken up, but don’t linger there, or treat these with disdain. Don’t separate yourself or reject them in any way. I am reminding you of this because this is not like you. You are the one who loves and accepts people right where they are. I want you remembering I am the only One who can change people. Your task is to pray and thank Me for moving in their lives. Trust me changes will be made.

My holy people; look around you, using your spiritual eyesight. What do you see? Do you see failing systems? Do you see the world in turmoil? Or do you see the riches I have prepared for you?

It is time to look and see what I am doing. It is time to look and see what I have done. It is time to look and see what I have provided for those that are Mine!

Are you Mine? Or does your heart belong to another? This is a season of heart testing. I am perfecting those who will yield their life to Me, believing that I am.

There is much grace and mercy and peace for those that will yield to Me. I am looking for a people who will follow Me, instead of their religious traditions. I am looking for a people who will seek My Face, who will call upon My Name. I am looking for a people who will follow Me all the days of their lives.

LEAPING OUT TO VICTORY

I'm quite sure when the writer of this psalm was thinking of springs,
it was the kind you drink from.
But when taking another look at the meaning of springs,
the valley can become a place that you jump forth from.

A place that you arise from suddenly and unexpectedly.
They make it a place of arising from suddenly and unexpectedly.

Suddenly you get a revelation and you are leaping out
of the valley onto the mountain top.

The valley was your worst fear,
but you can make it your best victory.
It's like rising out of the ashes untouched.
Through the fire, unscathed.

Come on! Get one true revelation of God
and jump out of your valley,
higher than you've
ever known before.
