Mar 31, 1998 . . Hon-Ming Chen, leader of the Taiwanese cult God's Salvation Church, or Chen Tao - "The True Way" - claimed that God would come to Earth in a flying saucer at 10:00 am on this date. On her comical site, in which she transcribed dialogs she supposedly had with God, God told her that the "USA will be invaded by Russia, China, an Arab Alliance, and even the UN and NATO. But it was not to be. When July passed, the inevitable date postponement began. The folks on the alt.prophecies.nostradamus newsgroup and the webmasters of various Nostradamus fan sites extended the deadline of fulfillment to August 13 (the end of July according to the Julian calendar used in Nostradamus' day), then September 30 ("sept mois" must have meant "September" after all!), then October 10 (the end of the 7th month of the Hebrew calendar), and finally October 22 (the end of the seventh month of the Zodiac). Now some people are saying Nosty meant the whole year of 1999 plus 7 months, i.e. July 2000! There is no end to the denial!!

Of course, there are those who claim the prophecy was fulfilled. Some said that the prophecy referred a meteor that exploded over New Zealand in early July or perhaps the total eclipse of August 11. But did these events resuscitate the King of the Mongols?

Sep 11, 1999 Bonnie Gaunt used the Bible Codes to prove that Rosh Hashanah 5760 (September 11, 1999) is the date of the Rapture. Not surprisingly, her web page promptly disappeared on Sep. 12. However there is still a newspaper article available online about her prediction.

Jason Hommel spammed Usenet with claims that the Rapture was to take place on this date, and used a plethora of over-imaginitive numerology and unorthodox scriptural interpretation to arrive at this conclusion. He used the famous "know not the day nor the hour" verse to paradoxically pinpoint the date of the Rapture. But in a bit of honesty rare among doomsayers, Hommel actually admitted he was wrong and apologized.
Michael Rood also jumped on the Rosh Hashanah bandwagon. He claimed that this day is the first day of the Hebrew calendar year 6001, and after it failed, he changed the date to April 5, 2000. In reality, this day was the first day of 5760, but Michael claimed that there was a mistake in the calendar.

Pre-tribbers seem apparently prone to be inspired to have special insight about things that reveal that the rapture is just about to happen. I was once guilty of this midset myself.

I know that Paul Cain has a messed up life. I live in KC, Mo where Paul ministered a lot back in his heyday. I know people who have been there when Paul Cain healed people and changed their lives for the better when he revealed things in prophecy to them that only the Lord could klnow and say. Paul Cain really helped a lot of people. All of the people who wrote the Bible had sinned. Everyone has sinned. That does not disqualify men from being used by God. Jonah was hateful for crying out loud.

I do not follow the Latter Rain movement as you call it. I don't really even know exactly what this is anyhow. I have been a critic of some of the teachings of men associated with Paul Cain in the past. I also know that these men are doing a lot of good things for the Lord right now. They have also publicly announced Paul Cain's failures. They have said that they do not endorse Paul's ministry any longer at all also. You need to know what you are talking about and just who you are talking about.

The only thing a pretribber can say to us post tribbers if the rapture happens before the tribulation is I told you so. A pretribulationist should be the one who gets nervous. True christians of both camps are going in the rapture anyway whether pre or post. The real difference is that when there is no pretrib rapture, post tribbers will likely have prepared for it whereas pretribbers would likely not have prepared. I feel for all pretribbers, especially people like Benny because (I think) he has a family to care for. I consider it quite foolish for one not to prepare because we have been warned.

Eli and Gidgeon along with many others claim 1 thessalonians at the end of the Great tribulation.
According to the post trib view which is false, they include all those who were martyred during the great tribulation, as descending from heaven with the lord and receiving mortal bodies, along with those remaining alive, before the Lord's feet touch's earth.

But Revelation 20;4 tells that the martyred were resurrected after the anti-christ and false prophet were throne into the lake of fire.

In revelation 20;4....notice the words...Then I saw "SOULS"
The following is a definition of the word "SOUL"

1.The animating and vital principle in humans, credited with the faculties of thought, action, and emotion and often conceived as an immaterial entity.
2.The spiritual nature of humans, regarded as immortal, separable from the body at death, and susceptible to happiness or misery in a future state.

Also notice that in revelation 20,....that only those on thrones and martyred are present,...and that the words...."and the rest of the dead lived not again until the 1000 years were finished,...which implies that a resurrection of the tribulation martyreds had just taken place in revelation 20.

Benny B that is very quacky observation and doctrine. Notice Gideon tries to come to the rescue. Revelation 4 shows us only the twenty and four elders, which are twenty and four elders that surround the throne. THese elders do not represent the church, but some that have great authority as they sit with the four beasts around the throne of GOd. Caught Benny telling non truth. Notice Revelation 20 talks about all that are blessed and holy to have part in the first resurrection, this is the resurrection of the saints, and it takes place at the very end of the tribulation, not before as pretribers claim. Benny has yet to show us a resurrection before the tribulation. THe only ones we see are the two prophets of revelation 11 and Mathew 27:52 after Jesus arose from the dead, We have already proven pretibulationalism dead wrong with II Thes 2 with the word apostacia. Notice everyone that Benny continues to deny doctrinal and written truth in God's word. He suffers from the delusional affects of disbeleif.

This truth we have seen in the past few post is awsome. very true. As we see in II Thessolonians, the table turns on those that receive not the truth, but had pleasure in unrigheousness. Some scriptures even indicate that they will serve as false teachers for Satan, in leading the community to Satan in the time of tribulation. We see that the evil servant that realized that Jesus did not come before the tribulation, eventually concludes that he has delayed his second coming; this evil servant will begin to beat his fellow servant; for such we see that God sends them strong delusion that they would beleive a lie.. They become drunk in the deception of the tribulation as we see in I Thes 5. They are the ones that will suffer sudden destruction, as the day overtakes them as a thief would. I believe that the saved that are confused with this doctrine will become unconfused so the day does not take them as a theif. Many of the unsaved that claim to be saved and are not will be either get saved and face the truth, or they will remain unsaved and be subject to SATAN'S deception.

Evil continues teaching something that is not in the word of God.

Im not trying to make anyone mad but please search the scriptures and dont take them out of context and you will find that the Bride has a special place in prophecy which is fulfilled at the end of the tribulation.

It is not us that are putting things in or taking things out scripture, but rather Darby, Scofield, and the majority of the modern day church movements are doing so. It is these that have created a great apostacy, or falling way from the original interpretation of God's doctrine, concerning the second coming. For the word apostasia refers specifically to the apostacy of or falling away from the original faith of the second coming. That is what we see in the pretrib rapture teaching, an apostacy. Thanks be to God there is a remnant that will not be deceived by Satan. The ones deceived are directly participating in the great apostacy of interpreting the doctrine of the Coming of Chist inorrectly. This word apastacia, or falling means precisely, falling away from the truth, specifically with truth related to the second the second coming, very specifially; read about this falling away from truth, and what it does to those that receive not the love of the truth, regarding the second coming.. Now the pretribber doctrine has been considered by most the doctrine that speaks the truth. Many botched movies were made depicting a pretrib rapture; this is also apastacia. For when we see in II Thes 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. The falling away is derived from the greek word apostasia, this word is very, very specific in its greek meaning as it demonstrates the authenticity of the post tribulation rapture to a full. It also demonstrates and states directly that some so called christians who fall away from the teachings of the post tribulational rapture, but were mere professors, who without devine grace will succumb to the Satanic deception of the Antichrst and those that do succumb, will be damned. If those who are truly Christ's and through the Holy Spirit have become members of the Holy Body (I Cor 12:13). could be detached, then the assurance Jesus gave that his own would not perish would become null and void (Jn 10:28, 29), (II Chron 29:19, Septu.). It is hard to imagine that that one Greek word. the one we just covered, apastacia, falling, means all that, but it does. This is precisely what happens when you take word for word, line upon line, precept upon precep, the exact original meanings flow out.

I think it is tragic, that for over a hundred years these pretribers have said that Jesus could come at any moment, and they even claim falsely that they have been claiming it since the assention of Christ.. Obviously, you are confused in trying to figure out how to regain the composer in explaining a false doctrine that you poorly promote.
One day you claim that the Lord will rapture the alive and dead at the end of the tribulation,...and the next day you claim that the rapture happens after the tribulation.Then because your defence is inconsistent,it even seemed you were saying that a rapture would happen first of the alive, and that later just before the millenium began,that the dead would rise.
It would be nice if you could make this clear of what you are trying to convey here.
In one post you state that all the dead in Christ from adam on,....and all the martyred from the great tribulation are coming back with the Lord from heaven,and will receive new immortal bodies before His feet land on Mount olivet.

That is impossible!First of all, there is nothing in the Word of God that outright states a rapture at the end of the tribulation.
But it does state that all those who were martyred will be resurrected after armageddon. Actually,not until after the Ac and False prophet have been cast into the lake of fire.
But out of desperation,...you would probably claim that there are a seperated rapture and resurrection, which would still blow you out of the water.

Anyone, including a 7th grader from school, can see what I have presented, does harmonize with the scriptures.And can also see that your explanation has many flaws.I noticed that you really do not have an answer.Instead you just say,..."I do not believe that."

So it looks like Benny is trying to prove that only the tribulation martyres will be resurrected and reign in the millenium, right? I do not believe that.

Why don't I believe that? Easy. Just read the next sentences I wrote:

All saints will be resurrected to participate in the millenium. Jesus said the the elect (not "some" of the elect") would be gathered. These are living people. Paul re-affirmed this in 1 Thes 4 "those of us who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord." Revelation 20 is specifically focused on the tribulation and the dawning of the millenium. It is not necessary ,or in keeping with the Apocalyptic style that the book is written in, to specifically and literally mention all the details of whatever John was describing.
