Full Version: ….then The Millennial Rule Of Christ Would Have To Begin With The Pre-trib Rapture
Christian-Forum.net > Bible Studies > Bible Prophecy

According to John, Christ's Millennial rule (where Satan is bound and Christ rules on the earth with a "rod of iron") will last 1000 years and begins with the First Resurrection and ends with the Second Resurrection (Revelation 20).

Now, there are those that will try to justify the pre-trib rapture by blindly claiming that the pre-trib rapture is part of the First Resurrection. If that were the case, then the Millennial Rule of Christ would have to begin with the pre-trib rapture. And if that were the case, Satan would have to be bound, and Christ would be ruling on the earth with a "rod of iron" during the seven years of the Tribulation.

Stephen
"First" does not mean order, but "type of"

>There are only two "types" noted in scripture

The "first" resurrection is the one to immortality

The "second" resurrection is the one to the second death of the human spirit

Revelation 20 explains this truth

The Lord experiemced a "first" resurrection ..... long ago

And so did some others

Those who become believers and are killed during the tribulation will experence this first "type" of resurrection to immortality

Today's Body of Christ will experience the same at the Lord's "harpazo" action just before the tribulation period

The evidence for this experience is the 24 elders and the great multitude recorded in Revelation 4,5, and 7

They are in heaven and around the throne just "before" the Lord's judgment on the earth begins

How do some of you people come up with this stuff.

Hello 5:11

You stated: How do some of you people come up with this stuff.

My response: I have to ask the same question. Revelation 20 states that the First and Second Resurrections are separated by a thousand years often called the Millennium. This is where I have to ask the same question. How do some of you people (prebies) come up with this stuff (that the pre-trib rapture is part of the First Resurrection)? If it were, then how do you explain when the Millennium starts.

In Yehoshua,
Guy Smith
Stephen
Your question is misdirected

You need to understand that "first" resurrection means "the resurrection to eternal life"

It is the "second resurrection" that one does not want to experience

The Lord experienced one of the "first" type by demonstration

Today's Body of Christ will be next .... just before the Lord's coming judgment

This is evidenced by Revelation's proof in chapters 4,5, and 7

How can anyone miss this truth?

The next of the "first" type of resurrection will be those who will become believers during the tribulation period and killed

These are those noted in Reveltion 20:4

The 24 elders and the great multitude of today's church are also in the same passage

Can you find them?

Who are those sitting on thrones and to whom judgment is given?

Who is with the Lord when He comes to tread the winepress at Armageddon in chapter 19?

Who are "many people in heaven" who observe the destruction of MBG's great city during the tribulation period recorded in chapter 19?

One must be able to answer these questions

The first resurrection has already taken place, Jesus returns with the saints.

Many have seen the mantle "rod" of Moises and Elijah.

Furthermore, all eyes will see the Lord, but He returns in darkness it is a spiritual coming and His revealing to the world will be at a later date.

The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Look at the life of Jesus, He was only seen of angels and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

"He will suddenly come into His temple"

Funny thing is many resurrected saints have alredy discerned the resurrected soul of Jesus of Nazareth, son of David.

I'm not saying "look here or there", because Jesus will come like lightning, (spirit).

So unless you have spiritual eyes you will miss Him. But for the world to see Jesus the religious leaders of the world will have to publicly recongnise Him, throw there crowns at His feet, just like the 24 elders do in heaven....

So let it be on earth as it is in heaven!

Jesus must return to earth, and dwell with us once again. This is what Tabernacles is all about, God dwelling with His people. (the second marriage supper of the Lamb).

"I will not drink of the fruit of this vine until the kingdom of God comes"

Jesus has to have flesh and blood to eat and drink like the first time He rose from death to prove He is not a Spirit....

But many will deny His return because they are still on earth, and believe they will preceed those that died in Christ and are resurrected with Jesus on earth.

Stephen unless you died in Christ in the past or you are an angel of the Lord or you have the Holy Spirit you will continually deny Him.
And you will miss the hour of your visitation just like the CARNAL JERUSALEM.

But those of the heavenly Jerusalem, will see or discern Him quite easily, when Jesus is revealed to them.
Because NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE IN THE FLESH. Hence the spiritual eyes needed...

I don't expect you Stephen to understand, but ask God to give you a sign, and that He opens your eyes.
But I know God resists the proud, those who do not have a teachable heart.

Simply ask yourself, whith the trib going on why are you still here, while the saints are being resurrected on earth.

"After two days He will revive us on the 3rd day raise us"

God bless

Actually let's Jesus speak shall we?

Luk 22:15 Then He said to them, "With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;
Luk 22:16 for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God."
Luk 22:17 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, "Take this and divide it among yourselves;
Luk 22:18 for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."

Again Jesus has to be here to eat and drink the passover and the cup.

You must think Jesus has been watching movies too then huh?

"Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord" are those who call out tho Jesus (Jews) and recieve Salvation, and Jesus must be here on earth to fulfill this prophecy.

This "saying" is called the Hillel, the praise, and it is sung usually at the feast of tabernacles. "The end time feast of tabernacles"

Tabernacles also celebrates God being with His people....Tabernacles then celebrates Jesus being back on earth to eat and drink...

Yeah, I'm really nuts to believe in the return of Jesus with His saints.

ps you stil didn't interpret for silly me the Hosea passage.

"After 2 days He will revive us on the 3rd day raise us"

contingency

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/contingency
1: the quality or state of being contingent2: a contingent event or condition: as a: an event (as an emergency) that may but is not certain to occur <trying to provide for every contingency> b: something liable to happen as an adjunct to or result of something else

In the matter of law of the spirit of salvation rules/codes of ethics,
salvation does not hold a contingency clause, due to our belief in a
rapture or not a rapture.

LET US REMEMBER, salvation is not earned, it is gift !

The debate is about the topic : rapture

SALVATION DOES NOT HOLD A CONTINGENCY CLAUSE !

Dna, Genetics, & God : Adam Being The Prototype Of A Fallen Race Of Mankind, Jesus being the prototype of a redeemed race of new creatures

excerpt:
Adam had a glorified body before he sinned and lost it. He was the first man. The Lord received a glorified body when He was resurrected. And all that are in Him will receive glorified bodies when He comes back to earth. There will be a third man, a forth man, etc. [1 John 3:2] ‘Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is’. [Phil 3:21] ‘Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself’’. [Col 3:4] ‘When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory’.

What an awesome thought, that believers will someday reign with Him, clothed in a body just like His! But the tragic fact is that many people, even on church membership rolls, are still in the first Adam. That was true of me for 26 years. Dear reader, are you sure that you are in Christ, and that the promise is for you?
