October 17, 2008: Make a concerted effort to turn your focus from politics, economy and world events to seek My face, says the Lord. All of these concerns will steal your joy and peace. Do you not know that I alone am in charge of your world? And, I will bring to pass everything that is necessary to establish My kingdom in the earth. My government and authority are above all that you can conceive of in the natural realm. So, I say, shift your focus upward and trust that My order is being established.
Isaiah 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts."
October 17, 2008. Downcast. I see someone who is feeling the load of bad and threatening news. You have done well up to now to keep your eyes fixed on the hope of your calling – Jesus. But right now, you are teetering on losing your balance and slipping into some hopelessness. This is not good. I tell you for a fact when you turn to Me you will find Me available to meet your every need. But you must not entertain the enemies of doubt and unbelief. You must not associate with negative thinkers, speakers or writers. They will drag you down with them. Your anchor is with Me and not with them. Reach up into the Third Heaven where I am and grasp hold of My all sufficiency. On earth as it is in Heaven. That is My plan for you. Downcast?

October 17, 2008. You did the right thing. It was hard but it was right. You are glad you did it even though it was very hard. Many times doing the right thing is hard, but doing it is always the best. It is Me that gives you the idea of doing right, and when you do it, there are always following repercussions. You are on a roll now, so keep on going in this direction. There are other right things that you have been putting off doing. You know they are right, but they are also hard, and now is the time to get started. These things will be a blessing to all.
Deut 12:28 "Be careful to listen to all these words which I command you, so that it may be well with you and your sons after you forever, for you will be doing what is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.” Bev Robinson**
Our “Footprints” for today are found in (Jude 1:20) But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Praying in the Holy Ghost refers to praying in your prayer language. It is praying in tongues.
The Holy Spirit knows how to pray in the will of God even when we don’t know the will of God. Haven’t there been many times in your life that you prayed for God to do His will about something when you didn’t know what His will was in that particular instance? (Romans 8:26) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (Romans 8:27) And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
During a season of the Church not allowing the gifts of the Holy Spirit to move, speaking of tongues is often forbidden, claiming it is of no use while in Church. This is not necessary true. Tongues build up the individual. Tongues make us able to pray according to the will of God. Yes it is best to pray in English (or a known language) when you are ministering in a group. Usually intercession is saved for your time alone with God or at a group intercessory time. (1 Corinthians 14:4) He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
Some thought that tongues were of no value since you weren’t to speak in tongues, but preach in a known language. Paul was one who wrote more of the New Testament that anyone one else. He is a powerful Apostle. He is an example of faith and the workings of the last day church. He said that he praying in tongues “more than ye all.” In other Words, he spent many hours alone with God and praying in his prayer language. That along with His time in the Word of God, is what prepared him for ministry because you build up your most Holy Faith praying in the Holy Ghost. (Jude 1:20) But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.
In this next scripture, Paul wrote in (1 Corinthians 14:15) What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
And also Paul wrote in (1 Corinthians 14:39) Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. (1 Corinthians 14:18) I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:(1 Corinthians 14:19) Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.
Your prayer language is powerful. The Bible said that praying in the Holy Spirit builds you up (Jude 20). In addition in research done by Dr Carl Peterson of O.R.U in Tulsa some interesting facts have been discovered. Praying in your prayer language releases a chemical which boosts your immune system by 30-40%. I have always been fascinated when scientists who usually try to prove the Bible is wrong, do just the opposite. They prove that it is right! When scientists look far enough they will always prove that God is right, because He is!

Here is a very interesting health thought. Dr. Carl Peterson of O.R.U. in Tulsa, Oklahoma is a brain specialist and was doing research on the relationship between the brain and praying or speaking in tongues. Some amazing things were discovered!!!
Through research and testing, Dr. Peterson found that as we pray in the Spirit or worship in the Spirit (our heavenly language) there is activity that begins in the brain. As we engage in our heavenly language, the brain releases two chemical secretions that are directed into our immune systems giving a 35-40% boost in the immune system. This promotes healing within our bodies. Amazingly, this secretion is triggered from a part of the brain that has no other apparent activity in humans and we don't use it. It is only activated by our Spirit-led prayer and Worship.
We need to pray in our prayer language more than we ever have before.
Charles and Frances Hunter have been walking in a healing ministry for many years now. I first heard them minister in the early 80’s. They have prayed for thousands and thousands sick people according to the Word of God. But the good thing about their ministry is that they teach others to pray and believe for healing as well.
One last thought… Just because the Lord is emphasizing your heavenly language today, don’t forget that you are also built up by the Word of God. We can read this in (Romans 10:17) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Spending time feeding on the Word of God builds your faith and praying in your prayer language strengthens your inner man. This produces your Most Holy Faith. Your “Most Holy Faith” is when the gift of Faith goes into operation. The gift of faith (1 Cor 12:9, Jude 20) is the God-kind of faith. The old timers used to call it “praying through daily.” Of course the Word says in (Matthew 6:33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. This is where they learned to pray through first each day; a very good and beneficial practice. (John 15:7) If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Let your driving passion be to serve your God. Let your whole heart be alert to His call.
I tell you truly, beloved, that there is no greater cause than the cause of the Lord God Almighty. No greater cause! Bear this truth in mind. Look to Me when things seem difficult. I will see you through. Look to Me to deliver My finest to you.
I am a God with a purpose. It is a good purpose. My ways are always good and benefit My cause. What is My cause? To have My beloved home with Me, with Me forever.
Many look at their lives on earth as the ultimate. I hear words like, “you only live once,” and “you only pass this way once.” That is true, beloved. You have only one life on this earth, one life in which to prosper doing My will and looking to Me. Let serving Me be your driving passion while you are on earth, for you will only pass this way once. You will have only this one time to serve Me in the capacity to which you have been called.
Do surrender to Me wholly and let your driving passion be to follow My course. This is a decision that you will never regret, beloved, never regret for a moment. You’ll see, dear one. Trust Me when I tell you that you will see that My words of truth are beneficial to you now and will be beneficial to you for all eternity. For I do nothing now that does not influence eternity. All of My decisions and actions are eternal. Trust Me when I recommend that you let your driving passion be to serve your eternal King with all that is in you. Trust Me in this. I won’t fail you, beloved. I could never fail one of My own. Never!!!
Bridges Revelatory Ministry
Last evening I was out walking and praying in the fields behind our barn. It was one of those lovely autumn evenings. At dusk, everything is the color of royalty: deep blue, purple and gold. I was walking a path headed due east and over the one mountain ridge I saw what looked incredibly like a sunrise. That of course is not possible, the sun had just set in the west in my time zone.
Still, I saw a brilliant golden sliver peeking out above the mountain. Rays of gold and copper shot forth and lit up the deep blue sky and the side of the mountain. It was so stunning that it took me a few moments to realize that I was watching the full moon rising above Bethel Mountain. I stood and watched as the magnificent light show progressed--so much like a sun rise--but with so much more contrast between the darkening sky and the bright golden light that the moon was beaming forth.
All I could think of to say was "Wow, Lord, awesome! The heavens and the earth declare Your magesty."
The Lord spoke clearly to me, "This is the third time I am giving you this open vision, pay attention."
Indeed, this was the third occassion in which I saw the blue velvet sky so dramatically slit in two by such an awesome and brilliant golden display of light. The first such vision was last summer, the second was just about this time last fall.
From teaching and from experience I know that when the Lord gives a dream or vision three times it is a significant message or word---and we do well to pay attention. Today I was out praying in the same area and I asked if this vision is for me personally or if it has corporate indications. Holy Spirit clearly spoke that this is a message for all of the Bride of Jesus.
My Take and Interpretation...
In the scriptures, three is the number God uses to establish a matter. One occurrance is perhaps chance, two such occurrances may be coincidence, but three events seem to signal some significance. I hear the Lord saying that we are to pay attention and take this into prayer and a prophetic presbytery. Three days and the Lord rose, Jonah was three days in the belly of the whale, Joseph's dream interpretations are replete with three's, and the Third Day is symbolic of the season of the rising of the Bride of Christ--the season I believe we are experiencing.
The Moon is the scriptural symbol for the church, the Bride of Jesus Christ. Also, the Father chose to mark time according to a lunar cycle and to schedule Jewish feasts and fasts accordingly. So, the moon is a dual symbol here meaning both 'this is God's timing' and signifying His church as we reflect His Light. He is the Father of Lights: "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." James 1:17. We are children of the Light and we are called to shine in a darkening and perverse world. "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world." Phil 2:15.
The Mountains seem to signify throughout scripture places where God dwells, chooses to be worshipped, reveals Himself to men, and despite mountains being difficult terrain, they are consistently places where God's people dwell in abundance and in His Presence.
Bethel Mountain (yes, an actual central Pennsylvania location) seems self-evident. Bethel means the house of God, and was of course the setting for Jacob's vision of the angels of God ascending and descending from heaven. Surely God is in this place! This is a favorite place of prayer for me and a great hiking destination as well.
The golden light seems to symbolize the gold of our inheritance both in heaven and here in the earth realm. Gold is the Glory of the Lord and the greatest Treasure, Jesus the Son of God: "In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians 2:3
The purple and blue of the backdrop of the sky are the symbolic colors of royalty, revelation, and heavenly visitation. (see Esther 8:15)
I Know this Word Will Communicate to You...
I pray that many can enter into the presence of the Lord through this vision and prophetic word, and you will arrive at your own interpretation and you will add to it greatly. All in all, what I hear resounding in my spirit is:
"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising."
Isaiah 60:1-3

DREAM: I was going through some rooms and they were very tight and cluttered with way too much furniture, stuff, Christmas lights and decor. Wayne was sitting in a tight place with a cold (congestion) and I prayed for him, wondering if the cold was getting worse. I was so overwhelmed at all the clutter and congestion I was thinking about throwing everything away.
I looked over at a little desk in front of a window and grandma had planted a little simple garden that was well kept. Then I looked over into the cluttered room again and saw my massive grand piano sitting in a corner. A large buffet piece of furniture was sitting in front of the piano and it was curved in the back of it so to be totally nestled in against the curve of the grand piano. They appeared to be 2 separate units but connected as one visual. It made the piano (intercession) less obvious and not standing out as the main thing in the room. I felt that it was a discreet way to for the piano to be in the room.
The intercession that goes on in my ministry is carefully nestled behind my writing and food for my kids. It is not stuck out glaringly and obvious in front, but rather tucked behind. It shows, but not meant to stand out in front. All the Christmas lights and decor are all the gifts of His Spirit.
HEARD: The gift of prayer. It is simple. It doesnt have to be very complicated.
PIX: I saw a bow ribbon being tied into a bow on a package.
VISION: I saw a pendant that represented Israel. With emphasis, I saw that it was being replaced by another pendant that appeared like the ephod with different stones embedded in it. I saw one of the stones was being placed by hand into the ephod, representing one of the tribes. I felt it represented being a priest of intercession, declaring the answers of the Lord, as they used the Ephod to know His will.
Heb 7:14-19 NKJV
For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood. 15 And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest 16 who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. 17 For He testifies: "You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek." 18 For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness, 19 for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
Prophetic seers seek the Lord to know His will. They watch and see.
HEARD: Canopy. My daughter. Stretch. A desire in the making. To be like them. Each of you have your own calling. Distinct and unusual, a true gift. United. Walking daughter, unsure of herself. Way out there, unusual. Flavor, spicy. Advance. Launch. Seeing is believing. Window seat.
PIX: I was peering out from the window seat of an airplane.
HEARD: Miles in the distance. Arrows to the point. I carry you to your destination. You can see anything you want to.
PIX: I saw a little baby crawling on its knees.
{Knees represent humility and prayer}
HEARD: When all is said and done, you will have a new baby. Fellowship. Soul search.
PIX: I saw a flashlight highlighting a certain spot.
Fellowship. Eveready.
IMPRESSION: I had the impression of the little Eveready Energizer bunny who has the drum and keeps on going and going.
WORD TO PONDER: STAY DISCREET, HUMBLE AND ON YOUR KNEES 6/17/08
Beloved as much as you see other ministries traveling and going abroad, be willing to travel in My Spirit instead. Lay low, seek My face and intercede over what you see and hear Me speak. I have called many to different functions and I am calling you to be My intercessor. The intercessory authority I give you will be discretely tucked inside your gifts as you share them with others. As you travel in My Spirit and follow My lead in intercession, I will give you fellowship, energy and power. I will give you eyes to see into the distance. I shall birth many things onto the earth through your willingness to lay low and be used as My discrete servant.

Have you looked around you lately? What has worked in the past, no longer works. Both in the natural and in the spiritual. Not just financial systems are failing, but spiritual systems are failing as well. It is time to repent over worshipping what has been, so that you may participate in what I am bringing. What I am bringing about will be much better.
Many churches are not working these days. Those that focus on methods and plans of the past no longer work, for this is a new time, with new people and new challenges. People are looking for answers, but many churches are trying to give them answers to other things. People want to connect, to know that they are part of something solid. Relationship is so key between you and I, but you see relationship is also important between one another.
Who can trust another? Many of My holy people can no longer find people to trust, even within the church. There is no demonstration of My Kingdom on earth, as it is in heaven. Who will be the salt? Who will shine the light? Who will stand before men on My behalf and demonstrate true relationship?
My holy people, are you part of the solution that I am offering people these days or are you part of the problem? I will destroy the ministries that are not demonstrating authentic relationship through reciprocating acts of love and care. I will move those out of the way that are a hindrance, making way for those who will follow My pattern of love and relationship.
Even in the midst of the cares of this world, it is possible to have friendships that thrive and are a source of life. Those people, those groups, those ministries will be raised up in this hour to produce what My Church has not produced in a long time: a bounty of faithfulness unto death. Death to self and life unto others.
Now is a season of seeking Me and following Me like no other. Look around you and see who needs a friend amongst you and then befriend them. Not an acquaintance, but a friend that invests into the lives of others. Be the instruments of love that I have fashioned you to be. Be and become an accurate expression of Christ in the earth.
