I have heard many times others stated many times, "be careful at who you let pray for you".

No, funny as that is, we are commanded to pray for one another, laying on of hands, for healing and so on. No where have I ever read this in the word. Not one time, with any part, even comes close.

Has any found anything on this. That would keep one from praying for you, or you them.

Now, I have had this happen to me, by one that acted out this way against me. They believeing i was in sin, as If their struggles was much lest then mine. I believe this to be a lie. What do you say?

At one time, I thought this to be true, you know...being told this many times over the years I just assumed this to be so...until I noted it just isnt in the word, as far as I was able to see.

Has others had this used against them.

I know at one time I used that to keep others from thinking or feeling better than I, but I knew it was wrong, and I know it was wrong when used against me! One only does this to but on an act of serpiror power over another. And what a great trick of Saten, to link the one area we are to come together on. Pray, and say dont let them....pray for you....you might get their spiritual cooties! Like a bug!

I had others come right out in a show of pity, that you best not touch them as you pray for those so called demons on you might get off of them and on to you!

Just some of my ideas i had been having, and had to get out. I would really like to know if others have been abused in this way by others that are supose to love you.

Peacemaker, the TRUTH, that prayers are indeed answered, and we may or may not know what another person is praying for, when praying for us. The LORD is our SHIELD, and HE is our PROTECTOR.

We are to bless them that curse us and pray for them.

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Pray for those that come against you, that the LORD will bless them, just as you pray for those that are closest to your heart. The LORD hears our prayers, and HE does answer them.

so, this is really an act against the person that wants to pray, hu? I have heard many times others say that you should be careful about who you let pray for you. Well, I guess, that because the word shows over and over again, to Pray, to pray for those that wrong you, to pray for your enemies, to pray in agreement, and even when you arent in agreement with those around you. The word doesnt cover this LIE that have been going around that says you need to make a point to keep yourself from others that want to pray over you. So it that isnt there, than it stands to reason, that this is a lie from Saten, that leads others away for coming into one accord.

Makes alot of sence now! I that that is was wrong, and boldly told those that said this was so, that it want in the word. Where do others get off saying this like this anyways! OH, I know, only reason I would, is to make that person feel less than what they are. It says nothing about you needing to get everything together befor you pray for one another. Prayer is or should be lefting up of one another.

Oh, befor I forget. This happend sometime ago. Now one is doing this to me at this moment. It was something that just came to mind I wanted to talk about for some time but always forgot to post it. Until now!

i would only say this...don't run after people to pray for you...
God is able to lead you to a prayer partner(s) and able to route you to
one that is true...don't run after names and ministries. run after the Holy Spirit.
find a godly council for in that is wisdom. seek God and the Word of God first
and seek your treasure in heaven and all things will be added unto you...
