Full Version: How To Be Certain Of Your Salvation

It is true that Gods word is of more value than much pure gold. Its all good and some times
we come across verses which are quite exceptional because of the encouragement and promise
that they offer. I have found the following verses to be in that category.

1. Co. 12:3 reads that it is only possible to say "Jesus is Lord" if you have the Holy
Spirit" Thats awesome for a starter but there is more. God has told us in 2 Co. 1:22 that if
you have the Holy Spirit in your heart then it is a guarantee of Gods seal of ownership on
you and of the promised good to come. Ephesians 1:13 confirms it also.

So there it is. Just by saying the words "Jesus is Lord" you have proof of having Gods Holy
Spirit in your heart and of salvation and its guaranteed. God always keeps his promises and
he is good and perfect. Say it now, say it any time you want to assure yourself. It is
only in the last few months that I read of these truths. It
seems an understatement to say that are very encouraging.

It is a wonderful truth you can hold on to no matter what happens. Don't worry about
anything. Jesus is Lord and that must be always a great truth to share with others and what
he did for us. Jesus is Lord.

Jesus is Lord!!

I have never noticed that part of the passage before, thanks a lot for pointing it out. Definitely good for new or unsure Christians.

Jesus is LORD of lords and King of kings.

And Jesus said, Peter, whom do you say that I AM, and Peter said you are the LIVING SON OF GOD.

Matthew 12:11

And when they bring you unto the synagogues, ad unto magistrates, and powers, take ye NO THOUGHT how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

12. For the HOLY GHOST shall TEACH you in the SAME HOUR what ye ought to say.
