Great Horn Owl

ANIMAL AND BIRD : Job 12:7-8

But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee;
and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee.
Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee;
and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.

@1400-1430, Saturday, August 30th, 2008

The great horn owl airborne, with talons furry, resembling the paws of a baby mountain lion with claws extended in mid-air, crashed the window glass of the building.
As I witnessed the wing span stretched out, with claws forced forward to stop the impact on the glass, as a potential head on collision.
Slamming the glass with breast feathers hitting first. Then flying over to a low tree to recover its bearings.
What a warrior in the bird family. Looking like the family cat sitting upright on the tree limb, what a force to recon with. Yes, I can see how the great horn owl is the only bird that can out fly the golden eagle.

The great horn owl decided to take a wrong detour and slammed into the glass window of the commercial building. Interesting, the mulberry tree on the left side
of the window, was the area that the crow (raven) exhibited the odd behavior a few weeks ago. And the location of the yellow wild canary, found dead. ( I have inserted the links to those stories, scroll down to access them )

The right side mulberry tree is where the window (He) was located, that owl crashed into. This mulberry tree is a twin to the opposite side of the landscape. Both the twin fountain sprinklers not operational, due to the Georgia drought.

I decided that most certainly, this great horn owl must be linked to one of the former bird stories. And indeed, I was so very correct. The crow (raven) will mob owls when they are near their territory for they know that when night falls, owl becomes a predator that will return to the crow’s nesting areas in search for a delicious crow meal.

Understanding the rules of lessons in virtue called ‘truthfulness’ and vice called ‘dishonesty’, are some of the characteristics associated with the owl. I have been studying the term/topic : STRINGS/THREADS

I keep my eyes focused on the lesson of Mem (Hebrew alphabet, meaning water/40), being the strings of feminine cords that bind women to men who use them like a puppet master uses a puppet on strings.

And the releasement learned through Zain (Hebrew alphabet, meaning sword/7), of the cutting of the cords/strings/threads that bind us from any form of idolatry in our lives.

Owl expresses a new life or releasing the ties that kept you bound to the old one.

Seeing clear through to the core reason of any type of imbalance, is a owl lesson. Then understanding resolution steps to implement the changes unto fruition.

Leviticus 11:17, name the horned owl . . . as a bird you are not to eat.

And Deuteronomy 14:16, repeats this instruction about not eating the horned owl. Interesting, that Edom in Isaiah 34:11, speaks about the great owl nesting at and possessing Edom.

. . . God will stretch out over Edom the measuring line of chaos (Pe) and the plumb line of desolation.
And then I said, “Of course Lord, the measuring line is the term/topic strings/threads”. And God (IHVH) will put boundary lines of demarcation to limit the chaos in the testing time of our faith. Just as Job, was sparred his life, during the testing by Satan. Satan could not take his life. That was the measuring line of chaos, that was the measuring thread, the measuring string . . .

And the plumb line of desolation . . . is the clear defined boundary setting that you must have as a contractor to hang a wall of sheet rock in balance. A plumb line is a thread/string to mark the blue line on the carpenters board to denote the area to saw.

And I summarize this story of the great horn owl, with the following message :

. . . verse 13 . . . a home for owls.

Isaiah 34:15

The owl will nest there and lay eggs, she will hatch them, and care for her young under the shadow of her wings; (Lamed) . . .

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edom

Edom (Hebrew: אֱדוֹם, Standard Edom Tiberian ʾĔḏôm ; "red") is a name given to Esau in the Hebrew Bible, as well as to the nation descending from him. The nation's name in Assyrian was Udumi; in Syriac, ܐܕܘܡ; in Greek, Ἰδουμαία (Idoumaía); in Latin, Idumæa or Idumea.

In the Bible

The Bible identifies Esau as the fraternal twin brother of Jacob, the grandson of Abraham. Jacob became the father of the Israelites after God (Genesis 35:10) renamed Jacob "Israel." Thus Esau shared his mother's womb together with the founder of the nation of Israel.[2] See Genesis 25. Although Esau was Isaac's first-born entitled to inherit Isaac's wealth and blessing, Esau sold his birthright to his younger brother Jacob (Israel) for a pot of stew. The descendants of Esau and Israel led divergent paths with Edom settling east of modern day Israel forming tribal chiefs while Jacob traveled all of Israel, his inheritance.

In the time of Nebuchadnezzar II the Edomites helped plunder Jerusalem and slaughter the Jews.[26] For this reason the Prophets denounced Edom violently.[27]

I found my answers to this question, ' Prophecy of Edom/Edomites/Esau, Great Horned Owl '

Edom/Bozrah/Petra of Southern Jordon+Red garments,battle of Messiah+WINGS/fly

Shekel :

This is why I believe you were shown this Bible Code :

http://www.bible-codes.org/english_KJV-pic..._bible_code.htm

The great horned owl image is overlapping the ear and eyes and mouth of the prophetess
emphasizing that she (the Church) has, and will, be given an ear to hear
and eyes to see and a mouth to speak prophetically in the last days.
Metaphorically speaking, she will be given wings to fly!

EXCERPT:

http://www.inspiredbooks.com/micah.htm

Bozrah was the capital city of the ancient country Edom. The remains of Bozrah is Petra of Southern Jordan today. Edom is the most castigated country in Old Testament prophecy due to their attack on Israel during Israel’s decimation by Babylon. Edom is prophesied for destruction in the messianic age. It is Bozrah where the Messiah will first come to gather and unite the faithful remnants of Judah and Israel, which together equal Jacob. The enemy who arises against the Lord’s people are the nations, sometimes referred to as Kittim, which come against the modern country Israel at the end of this age. The "bringing back" of the "Israel" and Judah remnants is the telltale sign that these events are messianic, end of the age and none other. "Their King," Lord (Melchizedek) "marches at their head." People ask:

Isaiah 63:1
Who is this coming from Edom,
In crimsoned garments from Bozrah –
Who is this, majestic in attire?

The red garments symbolize blood from the battle that the Messiah is involved with in Bozrah. (Petra of Southern Jordan in today’s terminology) The blood is from the war against the world army that comes against Jerusalem in the latter days. A faithful "remnant of Judah" is chased, during this upcoming war, from Jerusalem to Bozrah (Petra) and the Messiah rescues them from their foes at Bozrah. There is another faithful Judah remnant, which remains in Jerusalem. Isaiah and Jeremiah project a Messiah that is angry with righteousness:

Isaiah 34:6
...for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah,…
Traveling in the greatness of his strength.

Isaiah 63:1
"It is I, who contend victoriously,
Powerful to give triumph."

Jeremiah 49:13
For by Myself I swear – declares the Lord –
Bozrah shall become a desolation… and it’s
Towns shall be ruins for all time.

This is similar to the prophesied ruin of ancient Babylon. As you can see, force appears to be necessary in this situation. One cannot always hide from the necessity for action, for inaction is also a choice with real results and consequences for which we are also responsible. "For all time" indicates the messianic time period.

Clouds/Sky/Flying

Jeremiah 49:22
At the sound of their downfall
The earth shall shake…
See like an eagle he flies up,
He soars and spreads his wings against Bozrah;
And the heart of Edom’s warriors in that day
Shall be like the heart of a woman in travail.

Notice, again, "the Lord" would appear to be somehow "flying" in the sky – perhaps he is "coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." (Matt. 24:30). For we already know, "the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud," (Isaiah 19:1) and is he "who maketh the clouds his chariot; who walketh upon the wings of the wind." (Ps. 104:3) So, "Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him." (Rev.1: 1) Remember, "The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: The Lord is among them…"(Ps. 68:17). We are told in these passages that "the Lord" comes in clouds, with power and glory, flying like an eagle, through the literal skies, and that every eye shall see him. We all can speculate together on what this all actually means. How will the Lord "fly like an eagle or is this phrase meerly figurative rather than literal?"

97 Oh, how I love your law!
I meditate on it all day long.

98 Your commands are always with me

for I have put my hope in your laws.

44 I will always obey your law,
for ever and ever.

45 I will walk about in freedom,

And in the cutting away, the circumcism is painful . . .

And in this cord/string/cutting . . . that keeps us dangling from bad business decisions,
due to all of us being human, the economy of events, the need to thresh out the grain
from the sheeves . . .

. . . it does not make any of us bad people, . . . to downsize . . . to be thrifty . . . to
become more independant, without the pressure to maintain our old lifestyles.

I realized when the black mold forced me out of my 19 year home, in Feb. 2008,
that I needed resprite and protection from that burden.

Will the final outcome, be the remediation of the home ?

Will I be granted an opportunity to move back ?

I do not know those answers.

. . . I have forced myself to see how the cutting of the cord, standing in peace in a small
apartment, is better than the stress and sickness of that environment.

Is is painful ? `yes`.

Is it teaching me more about my faith in the Lord ? ` yes`.

We each have a measure of certain abilities, strong in some, weak in others . . .
The facts are, 2008 brings in the change of the next cycle . . . the preparation for the
Messiah's return. In that knowledge, it will be painful to see the desolation upon the
world, for certain events to take place.

. . . Can we prepare, by over extending ourselves ?

Over-extending our minds, hearts, health, wealth, . . . this is the time to gather into the
store-house, in preparation for the day to come . . .

We all land in the arena, where God (IHVH) can speak to us, for His greater purpose.

Let us not end up, like Jonah, being required due to disobediance to be puked-up on
the shore line . . . from 3 days in the belly of the fish.

Death, rebirth, transformation

In his epochal works on optics and acoustics, Helmholtz had described the stimulating effects of colour and music in similar terms. Though he would divide the spectrum "on the principle of the musical scale, because this seemed to be the best method for physiological reasons", Helmholtz remained ambivalent, at best, towards colour music. He recognized his own scheme did not give preferred colours for the chord at A major: the note E aligned with indigo-blue, rather than the ideal blue-violet primary. But he reserved his harshest criticisms for the colour-music codes of others, as "forced musical analogies", concluding that:

"At any rate, it is clear that in the so-called colour harmony no such absolute definite relations are to be expected as are characteristic of the musical intervals."

Here is a typical Owl Call: Typical Call

Here is what a typical pair calling to one another sounds like: Pair Calling

Here is an excited owl: Excited Owl

You were mentioning they choose a mate by December...here is alittle more from that site on that topic:

"Breeding: Nesting season is in January or February when the males and females hoot to each other. When close they bow to each other, with drooped wings. Mutual bill rubbing and preening also occurs. They do not build a nest of their own but utilize the nests of other birds such as the hawk, crow and heron. They may also use squirrel nests, hollows in trees, rocky caves, clumps of witches broom, abandoned buildings, or on artificial platforms. They are extremely aggressive when defending the nest and will continue to attack until the intruder is killed or driven off. Normally, two to four eggs are laid and incubated by the female only for 26-35 days. Young start roaming from the nest onto nearby branches at 6 to 7 weeks, when they are called "branchers", but cannot fly well until 9 to 10 weeks old. They are fed for another few weeks as they are slowly weaned. Families remain loosely associated during summer before young disperse in the autumn. Adults tend to remain near their breeding areas year-round while juveniles disperse widely, over 250 km (150 miles) in the autumn. Territories are maintained by the same pair for as many as 8 consecutive years, however, these Owls are solitary in nature, only staying with their mate during the nesting season. Average home ranges in various studies have been shown to be approximately 2.5 square kms (1 square mile)."

Hope that helps in some way!

O my goodness. This just blesses me so much. LOL, HE HE HE.
must be Holy Spirit giggles.

I took a picture while an a prayer trek to Texas. It rained and
was wonderfully cool under a glory cloud while I was there. It
rained considerably for August. The birds came out in full force
and one particular afternoon with the most rain I sat at the
window and took pictures as doves gathered. The were the
biggest doves I ever saw...but that's Texas.

Anyway, from the
window I was overlooking the lake and there before me was
an interesting bare branch. I watched. The doves flew to
the branch and rearranged themselves. I was amazed and
waiting until the numbers hit seven. I grabbed the camera and
then there were eight, then nine. This was like a menorah of
seven, eight, nine.

Nine is the number of the Hannukiah,
eighth day miracle of OIL/ANOINTING and the NINTH is the
servant candle speaking of YESUA. This is speaking forth to me
of December...the feast of Dedication, known as Hannukah!

So, this just makes me smile. God is amazing in all ways.

Thank you, Zeetz & Signet : Can you help with the Prophecy of Edom, related to the great horn owl ?

Q: In Isa 11:13-14, when will the regathered Israelites swoop down on the lands of Philistia, Edomites, Moab, and subject the Ammonites?
A: The verbs here imply military victory. There are at least two possibilities.
Prior to the Messiah reigning, the Jews will conquer these lands. Philistia includes the land of the modern Gaza strip. Edom and Moab are in the country of Jordan, and the Ammonites lived in the lands now known as Jordan and Syria.
After the Messiah comes to reign, this conquest will occur. This might happen at the end of the Millennium when Satan stirs up the nations against Israel.

Dear Signet!
I admit, I was laughing while I posted the Great Horned Owl post!

And I want you to know that story of the doves you shared was so wonderful! Thanks for sharing that. When I clicked on the link you included I saw this:

QUOTE
The similarity between this festival and the "feast of Booths" would seem to indicate some intended connection between the two. Without doubt, Jesus attended this festival at Jerusalem (Jn 10:22). It is still observed by the Jews.

Which made me remember something Betty shared with me a few months back about the 7 Festivals if the Messiah, which lead me to this: Sukkot

I am learning so much! Thank you signet! And thank you Betty!

PS: I wish I could have seen that photo you took of the doves on the branches signet - it must have been so beautiful

Can you help with the Prophecy of Edom, related to the great horn owl ?

LINK: Edom - most significant Gentile nation in Bible

In the link above 3 excerpts stood out and I keep thinking - Petra
The whole page is fascinating relating to the significance of Edom...

"Who are these people who represent the most significant Gentile nation as far as Israel is concerned, the most significant in the entirety of the Bible as far as not being part of Israel. It happens to be the Edomites, the descendants of Esau.

This is made quite clear in the Scripture. You will find Edomites mentioned all over the place in the Bible, in the most unusual places in some cases, a prophecy couched, shall we say, among others in maybe only three or four verses, but what those three or four verses contain happen to be the most significant teachings you can imagine, prophetically speaking.

Sometimes we have whole sections of books that are given to Edom. In one case one whole book is written concerning the Edomites alone. That is the Book of Obadiah. I will refer to it just a few moments. If a person would read the history of Israel from the very beginning he would find, even prophetically, these people of Esau called Edom."
~~~~~~~
"Edom’s descendants were very interested in mercantilism and commerce. They established commerce from Palestine and from Egypt into India and the east in ancient times. The descendants of Edom … looked at the Mediterranean Sea and saw that they also needed to have ships there for commerce. There is clear evidence that the people who first established and inhabited the city of Tyre, known in Old Testament times for its mercantile and commercial enterprises, and where the Phoenicians had their origin, were the people of Edom. The ancient Jews knew this. In fact, the early inhabitants of Tyre were people who came from the Dead Sea region, where Edom settled. They established the city of Tyre and the city of Sidon and other cities along the Mediterranean coast to trade in the Mediterranean. They then went out through the pillars of Hercules (what we call the Straights of Gibraltar today), even into the Atlantic Ocean, around Africa and even into the new world. They were known as the Phoenicians. The word “Phoinos,” by the way, in Greek means “red.” They are connected with the twin brother to Israel named Edom.”
~~~~~~~~~~~

The Wisdom of Edom

“How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!”

*Obadiah 6

These people of Edom were well known for their wisdom. They gave to the ancient world many of the philosophers, long before the time of Plato and Aristotle and Socrates of the Greek world. These were the people who were reckoned as some of the most wise men of the earth. As an example, Jeremiah said:

“Concerning Edom, thus says the Lord of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?”

*Jeremiah 49:7

In the Old Testament there were two general areas where wise men were reckoned as coming from. One was Egypt and the other was the East, the area of Edom.

In the Book of Job is an example. One of the three friends of Job, one of the three ancient gray haired men that came to Job to tell him what was wrong with his life was Eliphaz (see Job 2:11, 42:7). Eliphaz was a grandson of Edom (Genesis 36:4, 10). He was one of the wise philosophers of the past. The land of Uz was Edom. That was where Job had his residence at the time of his trial and where wise people had their residence. So it says, “How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!” (Obadiah 6). People were after the Edomites to give them wisdom and understanding for years and years.

“All the men of your confederacy [or covenant] have brought you even to the border [the border of destruction]: the men that were at peace with you have deceived you, and prevailed against you; they that eat your bread have laid a wound under you: there is none understanding in him.”

*Obadiah 7

There used to be understanding in the wise men of Esau, but that understanding shall fail them.

“Shall I not in that day, says the Lord, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?”

*Obadiah 8

This is a reference to the wise men, the philosophers of the East.

And now the significance of the Great Horned OWL...

Betty - look at this Bible Code web page and there are lots of "drawings" of the owl and the color "red"...and Bible Codes...: LINK: Bible Codes - Owls - Red
"Seeing Red!"
The image about the owl/hawks and the "S" and the two faces, and all else will be explained later. Every detail of the below images are encoded as seen. She Sees the Seal of Salvation!

"The great horned owl image is overlapping the ear and eyes and mouth of the prophetess
emphasizing that she (the Church) has, and will, be given an ear to hear
and eyes to see and a mouth to speak prophetically in the last days.
Metaphorically speaking, she will be given wings to fly"!

"Below is a rough sketch of the major aspects of this code with special attention given to the boat with nets and sail/cross and shoreline. The shoreline is the phrase "...unto Bethsaida..." where the boat was to land. This is part of the actual text from Mark 6:45. "And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people". Also the three-dimensional "whore" house (at top right) was emphasized. Some parts of the outline of the face and owl can also be seen, along with the temple(t) above the temple of the glasses, which is above the temple in the face. There is much more here than this, but this image is to aid you in spotting the letters for yourself when looking at the other images on this page where the letters are faint or impossible to read. Keep in mind that much of the code is only discovered when reading the text around in a circular pattern."

These are just excerpts - both links lead to pages with alot of info and connections to Obidiah and Isaiah and need to both be read closely, I think...you probably already have! lol I am still looking further

It is probable that this was a bird about 2 ft. in length, called the eagle-owl. In the same lists the word koc (nuktikorax) refers to ruins, and the bird indicated is specified as the "little owl," that is, smaller than the great owl--about the size of our barn owl. This bird is referred to as the "mother of ruins," and the translations that place it in deserted temples and cities are beyond all doubt correct. Qippoz (echinos) occurs once (Isa 34:15), and is translated "great owl" in former versions; lately (in the American Standard Revised Version) it is changed to "dart-snake" (the English Revised Version "arrowsnake"). In this same description lilith (onokentauros), "a specter of night," was formerly screech-owl, now it reads "night monster," which is more confusing and less suggestive. The owls in the lists of abominations (Lev 11:17,18; Dt 14:16) are the little owl, the great owl and the horned owl.

LOL Miki! Yes, this topic is turning out to be quite a "hoot" wink.gif (Sorry, I could not help myself)...

Very interesting website you posted ... I didn't know what to think at first, and the saying "Wise as an Owl" came to mind...so I looked it up.

I found a correlation at a website here: http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Rel...ove_exposed.htm

Excerpt: "Everyone has heard the saying “Wise as an Owl”…but do you know where this phrase comes from? The phrase comes from the “goddess of wisdom” who was sometimes depicted as an owl. A simple web-search using the terms "owl" and "symbol" turned up many references to owl as a symbol of the Greek Athena. In fact, the scientific name for owl is “Athene Noctua.” Perhaps you have seen movies depicting the Greek goddess Athena and her pet Owl. Athenian coins bore the likeness of Athena on one side and an owl on the other. Indeed, these coins were called "owls."

King Arthur's Merlin was always depicted with an owl on his shoulder. The owl is the unrivaled symbol of intelligence or wisdom." In the ancient mysteries Athena WAS the Owl and was the goddess of wisdom. Remember, Athena is another name for Simiramas (just in a different culture). It is also another name for Ishtar, a.k.a. Isis. The Bible makes references to men of wisdom being master builders. Isis was known as the “goddess of towers” (a master builder) and is also the “goddess of wisdom.” Therefore an Owl is a fitting representation of Isis.

If you look carefully around Washington DC you will find that many of the government buildings which are pagan in architectural style, have owl statues on them. Our country adopted most of it’s symbolism from the Egyptian mysteries and therefore I am leaning toward believing that the owl is just another symbol of Isis to the high priests who designed the American Mysteries."

"Owl on the Dollar"

Notice the cleverly hidden owl seen on the U.S. dollar bill. It is tucked away in the corner. When magnified, the owl is clearly visible and did not come from the minds of conspiracy theorists. Again, there is a small owl just to the left of the "1" which appears on the upper right hand corner of the Dollar Bill. From time to time politicians like Bill Clinton and George W. Bush Jr. have been caught with a camera flashing the horned owl symbol with their hands."

So thanks for posting what you did, because it lead me to more symbolism about the owl...and I learned several

things I didn't know before. Personally, I'm beginning to see a "different" link between Edom and the Horned Owl now.

Wisdom or knowledge? Paul says, "Ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the TRUTH."

What is wisdom?

1st Cor. 1: 24 says: But unto them who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Jesus Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

God gives wisdom. It isn't learned.

Men gain knowledge by learning and they divine revelation through calculation and call themselves wise... They stand on the street corners flaunting their wares. "Come..see what l offer...take a bite...eat."... always offering knowledge but wisdom and the knowledge of the truth are absent.
zeetz
Yep, Miki...I agree with that completely. I always remember that scripture "Ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the TRUTH." I love the verses that come before it also:

2 Timothy 3:2-7 (KJV)

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Thank you also Miki for mentioning more about WISDOM ! You made me think about King Solomon:

1 Kings 3:3-14

3 Solomon showed his love for the LORD by walking according to the statutes of his father David, except that he offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places.

4 The king went to Gibeon to offer sacrifices, for that was the most important high place, and Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. 5 At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, "Ask for whatever you want me to give you."

6 Solomon answered, "You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David, because he was faithful to you and righteous and upright in heart. You have continued this great kindness to him and have given him a son to sit on his throne this very day.

7 "Now, O LORD my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David. But I am only a little child and do not know how to carry out my duties.
8 Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number.
9 So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?"

10 The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this.
11 So God said to him, "Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice,
12 I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.
13 Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for—both riches and honor—so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings. 14 And if you walk in my ways and obey my statutes and commands as David your father did, I will give you a long life."

~~~~~~~~~~~~ And now this for BETTY ----> Sorry to have gotten off on this side track, because I know you asked for help specifically with your search for the connection of the Great Horned Owl and Edom . If I think I have found any further relevance I'll post it, but I'm all "posted out" at the moment. Gotta go to do some work at the shop (Praise the Lord!)
Thank you Zeetz, for pointing my nose to this excerpt about the Great Horned Owl :
( I have pulled the links, that Holy Spirit has been guiding and teaching me,
related to this issue . . . Praise His Holy Name (IHVH) ~
Thank you, Shekel . . . for this Bible Code information . . . I will look into it, based on the
foundation principles I have understood up to this point. ( see my paper trail below of the
journey of research, required of me, to then be pointed toward the great horned owl )
EXCERPT:
http://www.bible-codes.org/english_KJV-pic..._bible_code.htm
The great horned owl image is overlapping the ear and eyes and mouth of the prophetess
emphasizing that she (the Church) has, and will, be given an ear to hear
and eyes to see and a mouth to speak prophetically in the last days.
Metaphorically speaking, she will be given wings to fly!
Each row in the code is 120 years apart, or to be exact, 119.82 "letter-years", since the English code is at an ELS of 11982 letters, and each letter represents 3.6 days, that is, one one-hundredth of a 360-day year.)
Also, note the "CASE" of luggage at the foot of the sail/cross. This is a play on words. This is the "CASE" that God has against mankind, which case Jesus bore on the cross!
Note: The letter immediately to the right of each of the "fulcrum" letters could arguably have also been the fulcrum. However, the pattern favored the first letter in each of the two cases. If the other position was used instead then it would cause the mirrored images to be placed further apart by one or two letters. The heads would not touch each other and the "S" between the owls would be too thick to notice. Therefore, out of approximately 1000 letters in the matrix, only four could be a fulcrum. This is a one in approximately 250 chance. Of course, without the initial images being symmetrical in the first place, their mirrored images could not produce these striking pictures anyway. The combined mirrored images are the result of both the inherent symmetry of the image, plus its location in the English Bible text that locates the reflection of the image back onto itself at the proper spot; for example, the face of the owl looking into the face of its own mirror. These images were discovered before the position of the fulcrum that produces the mirror effect was discovered. One did not influence the discovery of the other.
[Our images use two specific letters in the matrix that act as this 'fulcrum' producing the mirroring effect]
(6) In order to prove that God has become unholy -- i.e., lied --
some man must yet find a FULCRUM on which to rest his lever with
which he can stop the rotation of the earth, and then find some way
by which he can drive those witnessing lights from the sky; or in
some way break up the appointed ordinances of heaven and earth, so
that there cannot be day and night in their season. Otherwise, the
holiness and omnipotence of God must not be questioned. This is the
reason that David so triumphantly says to him: "Thou hast magnified
thy word above all thy name," (Psa. 138:2).
RBV: Isaiah 6:1-3 I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train (instructions) filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole Earth is full of his glory.
So how can we know the difference between spinning owls? By knowing what God says in his word concerning the diffence between the gifts and fruit of the Spirit and the workings of demons..
I do not know if I should have posted this or not, but this is quite fringtening. Let me know what you find of the horned owl image. This is what I come up with instantly when questioned about it. This is really scary, do not let children see this. Use at your discretion.
Spending time in God's desires for us makes a huge difference in how we live. Following God's words demands action, change, movement. Listening to God's commands, hearing them in our soul, shapes us decisively. Simply put, dedicating ourselves to God creates a passion within us to be drawn closer and closer to our Creator. We learn to love what God does in our lives. So much so, that we learn to act upon his shaping work within us. Just listen to the action words in this next section of Psalm 119:
I call.
I obey.
I call.
I keep.
I rise.
I hope.
I meditate.
All of this action stems from a growing love for God as a result of spending time in God's desires. This section reveals a heart yearning for and learning from God. Be sure not to just read these words... make sure you pray through these, phrase by phrase, making them your own.
145 I call with all my heart; answer me, O LORD,
and I will obey your decrees.
146 I call out to you; save me
and I will keep your statutes.
147 I rise before dawn and cry for help;
I have put my hope in your word.
148 My eyes stay open through the watches of the night,
that I may meditate on your promises.
149 Hear my voice in accordance with your love;
preserve my life, O LORD, according to your laws.
150 Those who devise wicked schemes are near,
but they are far from your law.
151 Yet you are near, O LORD,
and all your commands are true.
152 Long ago I learned from your statutes
that you established them to last forever.
The Kedusha is traditionally the third section of all Amidah recitations. In the silent Amidah it is a short prayer, but in the repetition, which requires a minyan, it is considerably lengthier. The liturgy varies among different communities and during different services, but they all hold in common three lines from the Bible (though translations vary): Kadosh Kadosh Kadosh Adonai Tz'vaot Melo Kol Haaretz Kevodo ("Holy, Holy, Holy, The Lord of Hosts, The entire world is filled with His Glory"), Baruch Kevod Adonai Mimkomo ("Blessed is the Glory of the Lord in Its Place"), and Yimloch Adonai L'Olam, Elohayich Tzion Ledor Vador Halleluyah ("The Lord shall reign forever, You are God in Zion from generation to generation, Hallelujah")
Prophecies of the desolation of Babylon and Edom in Isaiah 13:21-22; 34:11-15 contain names of animals, some of which present apparently insuperable difficulties. See under JACKAL'S WELL and SATYR . The Book of Job contains some remarkable references to animals, especially in chapters 39; 40; 41: to the wild goat, the wild ---, the wild ox, the ostrich, the horse, the hawk, the behemoth and the leviathan.
http://www.internationalstandardbible.com/...ckals-well.html
JACKAL'S WELL
(`en ha-tannin; Septuagint has pege ton sukon, "fountain of the figs"; the King James Version dragon well): A well or spring in the valley of Hinnom between the "Gate of the Gai" and the Dung Gate (Nehemiah 2:13). No such source exists in the Wady er Rababi (see HINNOM, VALLEY OF , VALLEY OF DECISION ) today, although it is very probable that a well sunk to the rock in the lower parts of this valley might strike a certain amount of water trickling down the valley-bottom. G.A. Smith suggests (Jerusalem, I, chapter iv) that this source may have arisen as the result of an earthquake, hence, the name "dragon," and have subsequently disappeared; but it is at least as likely that it received its name from the jackals which haunted this valley, as the pariah dogs do today, to consume the dead bodies which were thrown there.
http://www.internationalstandardbible.com/S/satyr.html
SATYR
sat'-er, sa'-ter (sa`ir, literally "he-goat"; sa`ir, "hairy" (Genesis 27:11, of Esau), and Arabic sha'r, "hair"; plural se`irim): For se`irim in Leviticus 17:7 and 2 Chronicles 11:15, the King James Version has "devils," the Revised Version (British and American) "he-goats," the English Revised Version margin "satyrs," the Septuagint has tois mataiois, "vain things."
In the American Standard Revised Version, no fabulous creatures (except perhaps "night-monster") are mentioned here, but the Septuagint employs daimonia, "demons" in Isaiah 13:21 for se`irim and in Isaiah 34:14 for tsiyim; onokentauroi, from "centaur," in Isaiah 13:22 and Isaiah 34:14 for 'iyim, and again in Isaiah 34:14 for lilith; seirenes, "sirens," in Isaiah 13:21 for benoth ya`anah, and in Isaiah 34:13 for tannim. We must bear in mind the uncertainty regarding the identity of tsiyim, 'iyim, 'ochim and tannim, as well as of some of the other names, and we must recall the tales that are hung about the name lilith (the King James Version "screech owl," the King James Version margin and the Revised Version (British and American) "night-monster," the Revised Version margin "Lilith"). While sa`ir is almost alone among these words in having ordinarily a well-understood meaning, i.e. "he-goat," there is good reason for considering that here it is used in an exceptional sense. The translation "satyr" has certainly much to be said for it.
[The Edomites fled] Edom Prophecy with Great Horned Owl, Bono came into this, Zeetz:
Lastly, the entire book of Obadiah. I took a Latin class over the summer, and we read the entire book of Obadiah in Latin. A friend who was in our little reading group had recently taken a class on the Prophets, and he explained to us the context of the book of Obadiah. Basically, a group of people called the Edomites were the sworn friends and protectors of Israel. But when Israel—it was actually the southern kingdom during the time when the twelve tribes were divided, and thus called Judah—was attacked, the Edomites scattered and fled and left the Israelites to be destroyed. It’s a terrible, tragic story. So the book of Obadiah is directed toward the Edomites, and the entire book is railing against their arrogance and indifference to what was happening to Israel. In short, it was crying out against injustice.
A bit of application…what Israel was in the Old Testament, the Church is now. We are to be a beacon, a light shining in a dark world. Are we committing the same injustices as Israel? Are we heeding the voices of modern-day prophets? (A little aside…I have this theory that Bono is a modern-day prophet. The lyrics of his songs, his whole AIDS in Africa awareness effort. I don’t think there is necessarily anything particularly significant about the injustices being committed in the Middle East as opposed to anywhere else—God is a God of justice and vindication for all oppressed and underrepresented people groups. And Bono is crying out against it, using every possible means to get peoples’ attention. That is exactly what the prophets in the Old Testament did…So there’s my theory.)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rehoboam
Rehoboam (Hebrew:רחבעם Rehav'am) was a king of the ancient Kingdom of Judah, succeeding his father Solomon. His grandfather was David. He was the third king of the House of David and the first of the Kingdom of Judah. His mother was Naamah "the Ammonitess." His name means he who enlarges the people.
The northerners retracted their recognition of the legitimacy of the rule of the House of David and declared independence. Jeroboam was appointed as king over them, and their breakaway state became known as the Kingdom of Israel.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeroboam
Jeroboam (yarobh`am; Hieroboam in the Septuagint; commonly held to have been derived from riyb and `am, and signifying "the people contend," or, "he pleads the people's cause" - alternatively translated to mean "his people are many" or "he increases the people"; or even "he that opposes the people")[1] He was the first king of the break-away ten tribes or Northern Kingdom of Israel, over whom he reigned twenty-two years. William F. Albright has dated his reign to 922 BC-901 BC, while Edwin R. Thiele offers the dates 931 BC-910 BC. He was the son of a widow of Zereda, and while still young was promoted by Solomon to be chief superintendent of the "burnden", i.e. the bands of forced laborers.
On the death of Solomon, the ten tribes, having revolted, sent to invite him to become their king. The conduct of Rehoboam favored the designs of Jeroboam, and he was accordingly proclaimed "king of Israel" (1 Kings 12:1-20). He rebuilt and fortified Shechem as the capital of his kingdom.
Bozrah was the capital city of the ancient country Edom. The remains of Bozrah is Petra of Southern Jordan today. Edom is the most castigated country in Old Testament prophecy due to their attack on Israel during Israel’s decimation by Babylon. Edom is prophesied for destruction in the messianic age. It is Bozrah where the Messiah will first come to gather and unite the faithful remnants of Judah and Israel, which together equal Jacob. The enemy who arises against the Lord’s people are the nations, sometimes referred to as Kittim, which come against the modern country Israel at the end of this age. The "bringing back" of the "Israel" and Judah remnants is the telltale sign that these events are messianic, end of the age and none other. "Their King," Lord (Melchizedek) "marches at their head." People ask:
Isaiah 63:1
Who is this coming from Edom,
In crimsoned garments from Bozrah –
Who is this, majestic in attire?
The red garments symbolize blood from the battle that the Messiah is involved with in Bozrah. (Petra of Southern Jordan in today’s terminology) The blood is from the war against the world army that comes against Jerusalem in the latter days. A faithful "remnant of Judah" is chased, during this upcoming war, from Jerusalem to Bozrah (Petra) and the Messiah rescues them from their foes at Bozrah. There is another faithful Judah remnant, which remains in Jerusalem. Isaiah and Jeremiah project a Messiah that is angry with righteousness:
Isaiah 34:6
...for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah,…
Traveling in the greatness of his strength.
Isaiah 63:1
"It is I, who contend victoriously,
Powerful to give triumph."
Jeremiah 49:13
For by Myself I swear – declares the Lord –
Bozrah shall become a desolation… and it’s
Towns shall be ruins for all time.
This is similar to the prophesied ruin of ancient Babylon. As you can see, force appears to be necessary in this situation. One cannot always hide from the necessity for action, for inaction is also a choice with real results and consequences for which we are also responsible. "For all time" indicates the messianic time period.
Clouds/Sky/Flying
Jeremiah 49:22
At the sound of their downfall
The earth shall shake…
See like an eagle he flies up,
He soars and spreads his wings against Bozrah;
And the heart of Edom’s warriors in that day
Shall be like the heart of a woman in travail.
Notice, again, "the Lord" would appear to be somehow "flying" in the sky – perhaps he is "coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." (Matt. 24:30). For we already know, "the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud," (Isaiah 19:1) and is he "who maketh the clouds his chariot; who walketh upon the wings of the wind." (Ps. 104:3) So, "Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him." (Rev.1: 1) Remember, "The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: The Lord is among them…"(Ps. 68:17). We are told in these passages that "the Lord" comes in clouds, with power and glory, flying like an eagle, through the literal skies, and that every eye shall see him. We all can speculate together on what this all actually means. How will the Lord "fly like an eagle or is this phrase meerly figurative rather than literal?"
Note to Betty: Thank you for dedication and your research. Both Shekel (Bible Codes - Bible Wheel), and yourself, pursue your callings as a labor of love spurred on by the Lord. Truly amazing, with ever increasing blessings to share. The hidden things of God, from truth and knowledge within His Word, being revealed in these last days, for edification - all pointing to Jesus our Savior...how much the world needs Him. He is ALL we need.
There are so many different parts in the Body of Christ...And this all is making me think of the song "The Great Speckled Bird" written by The Reverend Guy Smith. This song is in the form of AABA and has a 12 bar count. It is based on Jeremiah 12:9, "Mine heritage is unto me as a speckled bird, the birds round about are against her; come ye, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour." It was recorded in 1936 by Roy Acuff. It was also later recorded by Johnny Cash (in 1959). The tune may be based on the song "I Am Thinking Tonight Of My Blue Eyes".
Both the song and the passage from Jeremiah may be a poetic description of mobbing behavior
The Great Speckled Bird lyrics:
1. What a beautiful thought I am thinking
Concerning the Great Speckled Bird
Remember her name is recorded
On the pages of God's Holy Word
Refrain:
With all the other birds flocking around her
She is so despised by them all
The Great Speckled Bird in the Bible
Representing the great Church of God
2. In trying to lower her standards
They watch every move that she makes
They long to find fault with her teachings
But really they find no mistakes
3. I am glad I have learned of her meekness
I am proud that my name's on her book
For I want to be one never fearing
On the face of my Savior to look
4. When He cometh descending from heaven
On the cloud that He writes in His Word
I'll be joyfully carried to meet Him
On the wings of that great speckled bird
{Repeat} On the wings of that great speckled bird
Edom/Bozrah (“Sheepfold”):Sela, now Petra + Armageddon Campaign
EXCERPT:
http://www.khouse.org/articles/2006/675/
The Next Holocaust and the Refuge in Edom: Part 2
by Chuck Missler
What is the purpose of the Great Tribulation? What is the prophetic role of Ammon, Moab, and Edom (now known as Jordan)? Where do “those who are in Judea” flee? Where does Jesus return? The Mount of Olives? (Zech 14:4) or Edom? (Isa 63).
Last month we explored the historical backgrounds of Ammon, Moab and Edom. This month we’ll take a look at their prophetic destiny:
He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. - Daniel 11:41
Ammon is now Amman, the capital of Jordan. It appears this is one of the few areas that escape the rule of the coming world leader (commonly known as the “Antichrist”).
The Armageddon Campaign
And he gathered them together into a place called in the He-brew tongue Armageddon. - Revelation 16:16
The engagement involves a global confederacy led by the coming world leader. The campaign includes the following stages:
The Assembly of the Army (Rev 16:12-16): The Valley of Jezreel is the staging area for the armies coming against Jerusalem and, thus, against God the Father and His Messiah. God’s viewpoint is one of mockery (Joel 3:9-11; Ps 2:1-6). This is the “Day of Vengeance” (Isa 61:2).
The Fall of Jerusalem (Zech 12:1-9; 14:1-2; Micah 4:11-5:1). More than half the city will be taken into slavery by the Gentile forces from the Valley of Jezreel.
The Armies at Bozrah (Jer 49:13-14; Micah 2:12): The world army pursues a faithful remnant, which fled to the mountains of Edom in Jordan.
Bozrah (“Sheepfold”): Bozrah is pinpointed, which was located in the region of Mount Seir, on the western side of Edom in southern Jordan (Micah 2:12). An ancient sheepfold had a narrow entrance so that the shepherd could count his sheep, and, once inside, he could guard a single entrance to contain them. (Cf. “I am the door,” John 10). Sela, now Petra, fits the description, shaped like an ancient sheepfold, with a narrow passageway (the “Siq”) opening up to a spacious city surrounded by cliffs.
The National Regeneration of Israel: Israel’s required confession (Lev 26:40-42; Jer 3:11-18; Hos 5:15) and pe-titioning the Messiah (Zech 12:10) inaugurates the final three days of the campaign with pleading and petition (Hos 6:1-3; Isa 53:1-9), fulfilling Romans 11:25-27 (see also Zech 12:10-13:9; Joel 2:28-32; Isa 64:1-12; Ezek 20:33f; Ps 79:1-13; 80:1-19). When the faithful remnant petitions Jesus to return, He comes to rescue them.
The Second Coming of Christ (Isa 63:1-6): If this battle wasn’t stopped, all mankind would be destroyed; however, the Lord interrupts it, at Petra in Edom, fighting for His remnant of believers. He is described as covered with the blood of His enemies. (Note: His armies are not re-quired in the fighting.)
From Bozrah to the Valley of Jehoshaphat (Isa 63:1-4; Rev 19:13; Isa 34:5-6, 8). The Antichrist is powerless be-fore Christ (Hab 3:13; 2 Thess 2:8; Isa 14:3-11, 16-21). His armies are destroyed (Zech 14:12-15; Joel 3:12-13) at Bozrah (Jer 49:20-22), then Megiddo. Bozrah to Megiddo is 176 miles; 1,600 furlongs (Rev 14:20).
The Victory Ascent upon the Mount of Olives: (Zech 14:3-4; Rev 16:17-21; Mt 24:29; Joel 3:14-17.) His ultimate victorious return to the Mount of Olives is described in Zechariah 14. That leads to the establishment of the Lord’s Millennial Kingdom on the Earth. Many experts believe the weapons that will be used at Armageddon are in inventory today.
Holy Mount-East Jewry-North Connector
May 18th,2005, Message :
Below is a web link, to confirm some data about Dr.
Asher Kaufman's viewpoint of the exact location of
`Temple Mount`, being the Northern System.
Holy Spirit, revealed this in May 2005, to me . . .
Today (June 5th, 2008), I found a web link about the `Rabbinic Tunnel` and also it is called `Ezechias’ Tunnel`, dated 701 BCE. Israel's leading archeologists, `Zwi Hoffman`, in 1974 gave a tour of the tunnel. (see research links below, to validate this)
What is the importance of `Kaufman`, `Hoffman`, `Holy Mount`, `the north connector`, `East Jewry` and `30` ? All of these terms ( excerpt, the word `Kaufman` ) were given to me in a message, from Holy Spirit.
What is the 'key' purpose of the importance of this tunnel ?
conclusion :
~The connecting point between the Mount of Olives and the Temple Mount~
Answer : http://bcrfj.revues.org/document2572.html
(excerpt)
In addition, the site itself of the tunnel and the Kidron valley are fundamental for the faithful of both messianic religions – Christianity and Judaism. This talweg and this topographic confluence are simultaneously a line of contact and a line of symbolic confrontation. The original site of the city, it is at the same time the connecting point between the Mount of Olives (the place where the messiah will come in the Jewish religion, adopted by the gospel stories to be the place of Jesus’ arrest) and the Temple Mount (site of the apocalyptic Last Judgment narrative).
Thank you, Stephen, for contributing this . . .`The Lord will begin at Bozrah
QUOTE
Yes. The Lord will begin at Bozrah where the beast's armies will have the protected Israelite remnant [those who flee the abomination of desolation] surrounded and He will exterminate the garrison. Then He will proceed to Jerusalem and He will drive the beast and his occupiers out all of the way to the land of Assyria [northern Iraq]. Armageddon will stretch from Edom to Jerusalem, to Megiddo, to the northern borders of the Middle East.
us from our mission with the Lord. The twin dual, double-edge sword of Archangel Michael, defeating Satan. Love ; harmony ; activity of attraction ; a staff or a sword at rest ; phallus symbol ; esoteric value of forgiveness ; the open field of possibilities . . .
hindrances removed?
To readers;
I would like to point out about the subject of Edom. Edom leads me to Obadiah, a minor Prophet in the Bible. Do not excuse these "Minor" Prophets because of their critical nature and actions in the Bible. Same as the book of Ester.
Obadiah: Death to Edom. Obadiah means "The Servant of Jehovah". In this book, God is speaking to Esau, and putting the Spotlight on him. This is not a friendly conversation. God's explicit message to Esau: Pride. God is scolding Esau because of of Pride, many, many times. I take this as future warnings to God's people to rid themselves of this abomination or sin. This may be related to the Commandments of God. I'm sure we all know what they are. Violating God's commandments will separate us from God. We are all sinners, and must be washed with the "Blood" of Jesus, everyday. Prayer is needed.
God has already set the Time and Place for Edom. Please be watchful, with "Eyes". Be watchful in "The Spirit", not the Flesh. I will post about "The Owl" and "The Crow" and the birds, in a fleshly experience , many years ago, before becoming one of God's children. It was a Ignorant time of my life.
Prophecies of the desolation of Babylon and Edom in Isaiah 13:21-22; 34:11-15 contain names of animals, some of which present apparently insuperable difficulties. See under JACKAL'S WELL and SATYR . The Book of Job contains some remarkable references to animals, especially in chapters 39; 40; 41: to the wild goat, the wild ---, the wild ox, the ostrich, the horse, the hawk, the behemoth and the leviathan.
JACKAL'S WELL
(`en ha-tannin; Septuagint has pege ton sukon, "fountain of the figs"; the King James Version dragon well): A well or spring in the valley of Hinnom between the "Gate of the Gai" and the Dung Gate (Nehemiah 2:13). No such source exists in the Wady er Rababi (see HINNOM, VALLEY OF , VALLEY OF DECISION ) today, although it is very probable that a well sunk to the rock in the lower parts of this valley might strike a certain amount of water trickling down the valley-bottom. G.A. Smith suggests (Jerusalem, I, chapter iv) that this source may have arisen as the result of an earthquake, hence, the name "dragon," and have subsequently disappeared; but it is at least as likely that it received its name from the jackals which haunted this valley, as the pariah dogs do today, to consume the dead bodies which were thrown there.
SATYR
sat'-er, sa'-ter (sa`ir, literally "he-goat"; sa`ir, "hairy" (Genesis 27:11, of Esau), and Arabic sha'r, "hair"; plural se`irim): For se`irim in Leviticus 17:7 and 2 Chronicles 11:15, the King James Version has "devils," the Revised Version (British and American) "he-goats," the English Revised Version margin "satyrs," the Septuagint has tois mataiois, "vain things."
In the American Standard Revised Version, no fabulous creatures (except perhaps "night-monster") are mentioned here, but the Septuagint employs daimonia, "demons" in Isaiah 13:21 for se`irim and in Isaiah 34:14 for tsiyim; onokentauroi, from "centaur," in Isaiah 13:22 and Isaiah 34:14 for 'iyim, and again in Isaiah 34:14 for lilith; seirenes, "sirens," in Isaiah 13:21 for benoth ya`anah, and in Isaiah 34:13 for tannim. We must bear in mind the uncertainty regarding the identity of tsiyim, 'iyim, 'ochim and tannim, as well as of some of the other names, and we must recall the tales that are hung about the name lilith (the King James Version "screech owl," the King James Version margin and the Revised Version (British and American) "night-monster," the Revised Version margin "Lilith"). While sa`ir is almost alone among these words in having ordinarily a well-understood meaning, i.e. "he-goat," there is good reason for considering that here it is used in an exceptional sense. The translation "satyr" has certainly much to be said for it.
