That type of storm is common in Phoenix this time of year. Sometimes there are sand storms that swirl through there, too.
Perhaps it was a warning, I will grant you that. But it is not uncommon for such storms to hit the Phoenix area. They get tornadoes as well.

Personally, I am asking the FATHER for the complete dispersal of Gustav and Hana.

Jesus said that GOD makes the sun rise on the evil and the good, and HE makes it rain on the just and the unjust (Matt. 5:45). Perhaps all of the weather we see is only happening. Hurricanes have been hitting the Gulf Coast for centuries, and the sky has brought rain (and tornadoes, hail and lightning) ever since the Flood.

But I will side with you on this: McCain thought about bringing a pro-choice person onto the ticket, which would be a very bad thing, and show he - and the Republican party bosses - are more interested in compromising the sacred position of protecting the life of the unborn just to get votes. I am glad he put Palin on his ticket since she is ardently pro-life.

One last thing to consider. In Job 1:19, the following was reported to Job as his world began to fall apart as a part of Satan's plan to test Job and prove to the LORD GOD that Job was not as righteous as GOD considered him to be:

A great wind could have been tornado or hurricane force winds. If Satan is able to affect such conditions upon the earth to effect his hand against Job, then perhaps the winds and hail that befell Phoenix was an action of Satan's while Obama spoke? Perhaps Gustav is the same thing? Gustav means (I looked it up) "staff of the Goths". The Goths were polytheistic, or in other words "antichrist". I can see some similarity to your definition of the Democratic Party! After all, those who are cold to JESUS - antichrist - are children of the father of this world, and quite a few had gone to fill up the city of Denver...It's like Babel and Nimrod all over again!

One last thing: the other storm currently churning in the Atlantic - Hana, which is the Czech and Slovak form of HANNAH - means "favour" or "grace" in Hebrew. This is my first time posting, however I have enjoyed reading many of the posts. Obvsiously this is a public forum and people can write their opinions, and I have not agreed with some I realize that it is OK for healthy debates.

I did find it offensive though that the presumption is made that people losing their homes to foreclosure are lukewarm. I personally know several people either in that situation or just finishing it and they are not lukewarm Christians but happened to run into some bad circumstances. I personally am not lukewarm, but have been laid off and who knows...could end up in a similar situation. However, I know that God has a plan and even using these circumstances as a refiner's fire to make me and my family more in his likeness.

It is great to speculate on the upcoming tribulation times and prophecies yet to be fulfilled, but written words should also be tactful and not so judgemental.

I do agree with you, but I have several Christian friends that are Democrats. One is a 65 year old lady that I help take care of. She just recently..3 years ago became a Christian. I actually asked her the other day "How can you support this man(Obama)? He doesn't follow any of our Christian values." Her reply was simply that "What is more important to her was the social issues and religion has no business in government. She really stands firmly on her stance about separation of church and state. The Democrats to her represent the little man and she feels that Obama can help. All I am saying is that, maybe, in my humble opinion, the reason some Christians are Democrats are because they are still baby Christians and are not as close as they should be to the Lord to hear his voice.

Agreeing with this, in the book of Job, it shows that the storms that was set to take his family was done by saten but aloud by G-d for the point of testing, this could be looked at as a testing to come. Just another way of looking at it!

The fact that God has provided these storms on specific days and even on specific towns with names that correspond with the candidates shows me that He is beginning to show His judgments on America. Our God is rising and we need to listen and watch and pray!! The rest of the world is going through so much trial and tribulation yet He has been very long suffering in tolerating our nations sins. Now the Leftist Bloggers are claiming that Sarah's fifth child, Trig, is not hers but her oldest daughter's child!

They are claiming that Bristol Palin was pregnant, and that Sarah is covering it up.

Here is the photo that started the claim on Daily Kos:

The claim is that Bristol is shown in this picture having a "baby bump". In addition to that, the picture is claimed to have been taken in March 2008. The bloggers say a variety of things about Sarah Palin, claiming she never showed her pregnancy, and that she was showing a great lack of judgment in going to Texas to give a speech depite being eight months pregnant.

The allegation about the photo is false. The Anchorage Daily News took that picture in 2006 (while Sarah was running for governor), and showed it as a part of the collection of photos on Sarah Palin after the announcement by McCain that she was his running mate. Their own web site says that.

This all has the stench of the pit of hell all over it. First the leftist Dems scream like mashed cats that Palin is anti-choice, pro GOD, pro guns, pro drilling, then they criticize her for the decisions she made during her pregnancy. But they don't want anyone to keep a "damaged" fetus...

Truly doing their father's bidding, replicating Satan's trait of being the accuser of the bretheren.

ST. PAUL (Reuters) - The 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, Palin said on Monday in an announcement intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her child.

Bristol Palin, one of Alaska Gov. Palin's five children with her husband, Todd, is about five months pregnant and is going to keep the child and marry the father, the Palins said in a statement released by the campaign of Republican presidential candidate John McCain.

Bristol Palin made the decision on her own to keep the baby, McCain aides said.

"We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us," the Palins' statement said.

"Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support," the Palins said.

The Palins asked the news media to respect the young couple's privacy.

"Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family. We ask the media, respect our daughter and Levi's privacy as has always been the tradition of children of candidates," the statement concluded.

MCCAIN KNEW

Senior McCain campaign officials said McCain knew of the daughter's pregnancy when he selected Palin last week as his vice presidential running mate, deciding that it did not disqualify the 44-year-old governor in any way.

In the short period since she was announced last Friday, Palin has helped to energize the Republican Party's conservative base, giving the McCain camp fresh energy going into the campaign for the November 4 election against Democrat Barack Obama.

McCain officials said the news of the daughter's pregnancy was being released to rebut what one aide called "mud-slinging and lies" circulating on liberal blog sites.

According to these rumors, Sarah Palin had faked a pregnancy and pretended to have given birth in May to her fifth child, a son named Trig who has Down syndrome. The rumor was that Trig was actually Bristol Palin's child and that Sarah Palin was the grandmother.

A senior McCain campaign official said the McCain camp was appalled that these rumors had not only been spread around liberal blog sites and partisan Democrats, but also were the subject of heightened interest from mainstream news media.

"The despicable rumors that have been spread by liberal blogs, some even with Barack Obama's name in them, is a real anchor around the Democratic ticket, pulling them down in the mud in a way that certainly juxtaposes themselves against their 'campaign of change,'" a senior aide said.

Well, the lefty bloggers got something right, but wrong on the timing. Originally, the rumor was that Bristol was the one who had the child, Trig. Now that Bristol is five months pregnant, it would be rather difficult for that to have happened.

I am still amazed at the depth of desperation. I suppose that there will be some on this forum and others outside the forum who will condemn Palin and humiliate her daughter. I guess that is way of the flesh...

I think the Democrats are going to regret it if they come against Mrs. Palin. I am so very happy she is our VP. I pray that the Lord will bless us and she will one day be our President.

It's not just experience but character that is needed to be the nation's leader and ... Senator McCain has both.


Dear Governor Palin,

I am a Dutchman who has lived in Israel for 40 years, and who carries inside him a warm and deeply concerned heart for what is happening in the United States. As a European Christian, I cannot and will not forget that we got our freedoms back after soldiers - a great many of them Americans - came to deliver us from the terrible scourge of Nazism. We still bless you for that, and for all the blood your nation's sons have been willing to shed for our freedom.

As a nation you later did this to keep South Korea free from the curse of Communism. We only need look at the impoverished North Koreans, today governed by an evil dictator, to see the stark difference between them. South Korea is one of the most prosperous and strongly-Christian nations today: the fruit of this U.S.-led liberation.

In Vietnam America failed, despite the sacrifice of more than 50 000 of your boys. All Vietnam was overrun as a result of the negotiations which Dr. Henry Kissinger conducted with Hanoi: The same policy now suggested by the Obama-Biden team as the better way to challenge Iran and other evil-minded regimes.

Thus it is not wonderful words or speeches that have saved parts of this world from enslavement by Evil, Evil that sadly still governs godless men and women. Instead, it was the willingness of people to stand up against these Evils - as your nation has done again and again - that restored democracy and freedom to millions. I therefore bless you and your brand-new appointment as his running mate by Senator John McCain. May God strengthen your whole family in these coming days, with you running for the best purposes of God for and with your nation together with Senator McCain. This man already bears on his body and psyche the marks of his willingness to fight against the Evil which can swallow us all - even today. I love him and enormously respect him for not wanting his freedom from the torturing Vietcong unless his buddies were freed with him. For that act alone Americans should want him to be their President!

With all the Democratic clap-trap about standing up for the feeble and unprotected in this world, please guard against giving them the pleasure of cornering you into just being a narrow or pious-minded anti-abortionist whenever the subject comes up. Take every opportunity to explain that you are not just anti abortion but that you are campaigning to do good to, and preserve from harms way, all human life, beginning at conception as Senator McCain said, and especially to protect the most vulnerable of all human beings: the as-yet-unborn children from being killed in the very womb where the Creator intended they should be most safe.

I hold a book that describes the anguish, sorrows and depression of women who gave in to the advice (mainly of others) to have their babies removed; women who now have come into the open to share how, after aborting their children, they were never the same again; women that could fill a stadium in the U.S. and shout their anguished stories and declare how, for the sake of their own mental and spiritual health they would never consider an abortion again. You are therefore not standing up only for the unborn children; you are standing to protect many women from harming both themselves and their babies.

So go for it! We, even though far from your shores, will pray every day that you and the courageous Senator McCain will win and lead your nation into a better and more blessed time, because of who you both are.

Seeing the repeated, already vicious attacks on you for your lack of experience, the answer is and should be, as former Vice President Al Gore told the Democratic audience in Denver about the so called inexperience of your great, great President Abraham Lincoln: It is not experience in the end that makes great presidents but CHARACTER and CONSISTENCY and you have demonstrated a great deal more of these than has the inexperienced Democrat candidate.

PPS. To those who cynically scold Senator McCain for having chosen you after only one meeting and one telephone conversation I would like to say: Love at first sight is often the most abiding. That Senator McCain only needed one meeting with you shows how impressed he was with you and your amazing potential for national leadership.
