Thank you Suzanne for this video.

This very subject has been heavy on my heart lately as my teen daughter is coming home telling me that in her school there has been an increasing amount of young girls who called themselves "wifeys", meaning one girl is the other's wife. I have 4 daughters, 3 are adults and one is a teen, 16. I also have 2 sons, one 19 and the other will turn 18 soon, add a grandson who is ten. All of my children know the Lord, I always believed in Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." However, the very issue of the video is one that my family is battling right now as my youngest daughter is being seduced by the idea of live and let live. Most of her peers call themselves "bi" or even straight up lesbians. It is a trend in California right now that is influencing even Christian children. As a parent I feel that we of course have a moral duty to stay on our knees in prayer with our babies and to talk to them about all of that concerns them. But as we know, just because we are Christians doesn't mean we are immune from the influence of the enemy. I must admit we are at a crossroad right now and it is full on war on all fronts. It is so important to not be complacent and fight for our kids, I agree that we need to vote and let our voices be heard. It seems that more and more right is wrong and wrong is right and it is becoming the norm. I will continue to pray without ceasing as I believe God when He says:

Psalms 55
[17] " Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice."
[18] " He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me."

I have mixed feelings also, as I see these days getting worse and worse I want to rejoice because I know the coming of the Lord is near, yet, I am saddened because so many are being led astray. I see the gay men and women who marry each other with joy on their faces but I know that unless they repent they will be lost and knowing where they are going is very sad.

It seems you can contact the Reps until you are blue in the face, but they do what they want irregardless! Sickening isn't it? The only time they seem to do actions to please people is when they want to get re-elected. I still try to contact them on issues I feel strongly about. Never hurts to try!

It is most certainly a different world today. I feel such heartache for our kids and their struggle to make sense of this craziness. My daughter was commenting that the homosexual stuff that is shown on tv and the surge of couples that are coming out these days, has really been bothering her. She tells me that her mind cannot even process how "homosexuality" can even exist. It's just not making sense? The gender issues of today are totally messing up our kids and the ideas of roles that used to be unquestionable. No wonder there's such gender identity crisis.......kids have no other avenue but to accept the confusion, because if they share their concerns about it, or express their heartfelt opinions, then they are politcally incorrect. The kids of today have been stifled and thus just accept this issue, because they are being conditioned to not question it, or have opinions on it. That is why I said what I did in my other thread about kids:


Discerning Good from Evil


They have no choice but to accept it.
