I saw two things on TV last night that are a prophetic picture of what lies before the Bride of Christ. She has long been halting between two opinions but that is about to come to an end. She soon will be confronted with the opportunity to decide her destiny as she chooses between the road that leads to strict preparation to become the pure bride of the Lamb and the road that leads to on-going adulterous relationships with the world.

It Is Time To Awaken Love

It has been said "do not awaken love before its time." I say NOW IS THE TIME. Now is the time to stir up the love and awaken and pursue my love. I am love, I require love from my people and for my people to love one another. My love means holiness, my love means discipline, my love is unconditional, there is nothing in you that can cause me to love you, I first loved you, my love is unconditional regardless of your response.

My love is your guide, love others as I have loved you, love them first. This is how people will know you are my disciples because you walk in love. My love melts the hardest heart, my love heals wounds, my love quiet fears, awaken my love in you and release it to the people. There is nothing greater you can take to the lost than my love, it is the universal language, everyone responds to love, if you reflect my love in your character you will add numbers daily to my kingdom.

Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect). For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night. But we belong to the day; therefore, let us be sober and put on the breatplate (corslet) of faith and love and for a helmet hope of salvation. 1 Thess. 5:6-8 (amp)



Awake, arise and return from your distractions to ongoing fellowship with Me, says the Lord. Many things have demanded and even required your attention, and you have been seduced away from pure devotion to your God. Silence your flesh, and come away to spend time in My presence. I will encourage and strengthen your body, soul and spirit. Don't delay; respond to My wooing.

Whirlwinds of Destiny
(Bride to be? -or- Sex and the City?)


I saw two things on TV last night that are a prophetic picture of what lies before the Bride of Christ. She has long been halting between two opinions but that is about to come to an end. She soon will be confronted with the opportunity to decide her destiny as she chooses between the road that leads to strict preparation to become the pure bride of the Lamb and the road that leads to on-going adulterous relationships with the world.

Her first choice was depicted through a news story about a storm, a bridal couple, a wedding dress in a closet, and a mess that needed to be cleaned up. The tornado hit the dwelling place that the bride and groom were preparing for habitation after their marriage. The news story showed them walking through the mess together, accessing the damage and talking about getting it cleaned up. One thing that was left untouched by the storm was the bride’s wedding dress, which was waiting to be discovered hidden away in the closet. The newscaster commented that the wedding was still on as scheduled and noted that although a lot of things had been destroyed, the bride and groom still had each other.

The second arena of choice that lies before the bride in this hour was depicted by a news story regarding the "new" movie in town called Sex and the City. The story showed a group of local wives all dressed up in their ‘sexy’ outfits and making ready to go and observe the movie version of what they had all been watching on a ‘smaller scale’ on the TV screen. They were imbibing on some martinis and showing off their apparel as they headed toward the limousine that would drive them to expected excitement and enjoyment.

If we put these two ‘stories’ together, we can see a line that is being drawn in a prophetic sense that will bring sharper and clearer distinctions in view for Christ’s church. On the one hand, we have the call for the bride to be to enter into the storm of the Lord in order to be made clean and ready for the upcoming Marriage Supper of the Lamb. This encounter with the swift winds of God will serve to rearrange our plans, our hopes, and our dreams. There will be pain and there will be discomfort as many ‘things’ are loosed from our grasp and allowed to dissipate in a whirlwind of purification. Out of this turmoil will come revelation of what is truly needed and important. Our Bridegroom will walk with us through the rubble of our selfish desires and lead us to discover the pure white raiment that He has hidden away in His protective covering of endless love. Our hearts will be offered to Him in a new fresh way as the excesses of earthly living are trimmed away and we discover that possessing Him and being possessed by Him is enough. We will come forth as the ‘prepared bride’ to be forever joined to our Beloved Bridegroom.

The other side of this prophetic line shows a wayward bride who has eyes for an adulterous relationship with the world and continues ‘to make herself ready’ to encounter ‘pleasures of the flesh’ on a larger and larger scale. She has determined in her heart that she cannot be satisfied with the true Lover of her soul and so she becomes drunk with the wine of worldly enticements and finds herself caught up in a different whirlwind - one where she is spiraling out of control with her seemingly ‘innocent’ pretenses, soon to be caught up in a maze of swirling forces that will leave her ‘homeless’ as she wanders the streets of loneliness, offering herself as a cheap favor. Hopes and dreams will have been lost along with any semblance of purity as she mixes her strong drink, adorns herself with the apparel of a harlot, and eagerly enters the fancy vehicle that will take her to her awaited destiny.

Two stories - two brides - two endings. The lines of distinction are being drawn. The finger of judgment is in the earth. He will have a pure spotless bride. He will sort and sift impure mixtures. What whirlwind will we be caught up in? One will make us pure - one will make us bitter. One will fulfill hopes and dreams - one will kill, steal, and destroy. Which road? Which opinion? Which destiny? The bride must decide. The answer will soon be blowing in the wind.

Wrong Affections - New Direction

I had a dream two nights ago that I believe is a picture of the kind of misguided leadership that is taking place in greater Christianity. In the dream, a church leader who I know wrongly approached my wife and tried to kiss her. I went up to him and grabbed him by the front and looked him face to face in anger. I then noticed that my wife was dressed in rags and was ashamed. She ran upstairs to a room to hide. My next thought was to run after my wife to seek to comfort her and support her. I then saw myself trying to restore the leader as I came around him with care and concern.

I believe this to be a picture of current church leadership that is expressing wrong affections for the bride. There is coming a “face to face” confrontation between the jealous Lover of our souls and leadership over this wrong approach and ‘affections’ toward His beloved bride.

The bride has lost her true identity as she is being used as an ‘object’ for wayward affections from leadership. She only knows the ‘rags’ of shame as she is wrongfully used to fulfill selfish lusts of ambition and pride. All she knows to do is quickly run and hide so that others cannot see her utter shamefulness. The ‘shameful’ bride needs restoration and true comfort from a ‘sure word of prophecy’ that will usher her out of the dark isolation of visionless shame and into her rightful place of destiny, as she shines forth with the beauty and splendor of a heart who knows her True Lover and is fully known by Him.

Leadership needs open communication that will lovingly confront them with issues of the heart that have caused them to “slip into” habits of the flesh that have resulted in the misuse of the Bride of Christ for personal gain and recognition. They are not necessarily cognizant of the thoughts and intents of their hearts because they lack the discernment of the sharp two edged sword of the word penetrating the dark recesses of falsehood and exposing these underlying motives. Gentle yet firm ‘words of prophecy’ will find their way to the well spring of sincere hearts of leaders and turn bitter water into fresh, bringing Life out from the abundance of the inner man to refresh and equip the bride to flow forth from her true identity of belonging to One Lover.

Isn't it wonderful that God doesn't remember our sins???? Washes them
away in the ocean of forgetfulness.
We are now brandnew and clean blackboards! Each minute is new in HIM.

I know you are inclined to sweep every iniquity under the rug. Forgiveness only works if the patient is healed, not sent away with a hug and the infection keeps festering under the skin. The lovey dovey approach has not worked and will not work, as I am immune to seduction.

Now come for forgiveness after you repent and make right what was wronged.
Untill then, the winds will blow.

The worst criminal who just killed someone can say Jesus forgive me and go to heaven!
E-Z! This is Bible! This is the Word! I just can't find the scripture reference.

Justice/This Wind! Stand Up! Do His Word. The Word says...."Forgive and you shall be healed". Just get up! Dust yourself off, get back up on the horse and ride off with Jesus. Jesus loves you and forgives you and I do too. Amen! Case closed! Do u see the picture of Jesus in my signature? By doing the Word of God, we are growing into the image of Jesus. What would Jesus do? WWJD Before we (me too) open our mouths and start rambling, we need to put a check on our verbal diarrhia and see if it is His Word coming out of our mouths, or our old attitudes and hurts. We cannot minister the love of Jesus with tones of hate, jealousy, envy, past hurts. Get rid of that garbage. Time to get rid of garbage.

I love you very much; but this time around, I am going to compost the garbage for my compost pile! Why do you feel that you need to keep this sort of thing up? Does not the Word instruct us, "forgetting those things which are behind and pressing on toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus, we press toward the mark.

What the Lord Is Saying Today
August 27, 2008. Celebrate your forgiveness. Your sins were once very many. But now you walk in the freedom that forgiveness brings. Forgiveness is costly to the one who grants it. There is death to self in forgiveness. In the case of Jesus, it cost Him His earthly life to forgive the sins of mankind. His kind of forgiveness covers the past, present and future sins. He will never hold a grudge. He will never try to make you feel guilty for your sins once He has forgiven you. Think of it. What a difference it would make if when you forgive someone’s sin you never think of it again. That defines Godly forgiveness. Want a God project? See how many you can set free through forgiveness.

This picture is so true because if we don't forgive like the Word says.....then we always carry around the person who harmed us!

Instant forgiveness is wonderful as God washes us, forgives us, and now we are clean blackboards! Each
minute is new in the Holy Spirit. We are brand new creatures in Him.

After all, Jesus forgives us and now He expects us to do the same
