angels of God were ascending and descending

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacob's_Ladder

The description of Jacob's ladder appears in the Book of Genesis (28:11-19):

Jacob left Beersheba, and went toward Haran. He came to the place and stayed there that night, because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones of the place, he put it under his head and lay down in that place to sleep. And he dreamed that there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it! And behold, the Lord stood above it [or "beside him"] and said, "I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and to your descendants; and your descendants shall be like the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and by you and your descendants shall all the families of the earth bless themselves. Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done that of which I have spoken to you." Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, "Surely the Lord is in this place; and I did not know it." And he was afraid, and said, "This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven."

Afterwards, Jacob names the place, "Bethel" (literally, "House of God"). The name "House of God" and the term "gate of heaven" also allude to the Holy Temple which would be built on that location in the future.

Benjamin the Cup/Sceptre of Christ
The Divine Truth of Benjamin, the 12th son, sceptre/cup: Lamed

SUMMARY:

This is a research area I have put a labor of love into, since 2005.

The discovery of the Kingship of Christ, is not new to any of us as Christians.
Interesting, as I continued to unfold the Biblical facts about the 12th son, of Jacob, ' Benjamin '
. . . I could see how the story of a `cup` being placed in Benjamin's sack, was a type of `cup` reference to Christ commentary : ' Let this cup pass from me ' . . .

From this viewpoint, it exposed a beginning(alpha) and ending(omega) theme of the Kingship bloodline of authority from God(IHVH), of the divine geneology of Christ.

The cup, represents a chalice.

Mary carried the divine seed of Christ, in the womb. (chalice symbol)

Rachel mother of Benjamin, died in childbirth.

Christ died, and is resurrected.

Benjamin is a paper trail ( investigative term ) : from the tribe of Benjamin came the first king of Israel: Saul.
Centuries later, Mordechay and Esther the Queen, are Benjaminite too.
Paul, is also a Benjaminite.

Christ is our High Priest.

Aaron's Breastplate of Judgement, worn by High Priest, represents the 1st born son of
Jacob as Reuben, sardine stone on the breastplate.
The 12th born, Benjamin, represents the jasper stone on the breastplate.

Christ is compared in the New Testament to the corner stone.

My research is to prove without a doubt, that the pattern (shadow) is to be very much paid
attention to between Benjamin the 12th son and Christ the Messiah, `Son of God '.

Benjamin means, ` Son of the Right Hand '.
Christ sits on the Right Hand of the Father.

With 12 sons of Jacob, why would the Temple Mount geography be Benjamin territory ?
Why would the first King of Israel be Benjaminite ?
Why would both Mordechay & Queen Esther be Benjaminite ?
Why would Paul, be Benjaminite ?

In understanding the Hebrew alphabet, the Tribe of Benjamin is the alphabet `Lamed`.

Lamed is a sceptre symbol:
Lamed is not only the ox-goad but also the shepherd's staff. So it is naturally extendable to the sceptre/rod of Christ.

Christ is the Good Shepherd.

Lamed means numerical 30.

Christ betrayal was from 30 pieces of silver. ( symbolic of Benjamin's silver cup in the bag )

Go read why the silver cup was put in Benjamin's bag and it reveals the paper trail back to the betrayal of Joseph. Christ was betrayed. Joseph, was betrayed. The 30 pieces of silver lead backward to the Lamed/sceptre of Christ. The Lamed means again, numerical 30.

Genesis 44:12
And he searched and began at the eldest and left at the youngest and
the cup was found in Benjamin's sack

So what do we do? We use a free, powerful Bible program called e-Sword to view Strong’s numbers, to search through commentaries, and look up cross-references. e-Sword puts a multitude of resources at our disposal: Bibles, commentaries, lexicons, dictionaries, reference books, cross-reference lists and more. We use these resources to dig into the Bible and find "gold nuggets". (Hence the name "Gold Miners’ Bible Study".)

WHO OR WHAT ARE ANGELS?
http://www.christiananswers.net/q-acb/acb-t005.html
The word “angel” actually comes from the Greek word aggelos, which means “messenger.” The matching Hebrew word mal'ak has the same meaning.

Sometimes, the Bible uses these words for human beings:

ordinary people who carry messages (Job 1:14; Luke 7:24; 9:52)
prophets (Isaiah 42:19; Malachi 3:1)
priests (Malachi 2:7)
church leaders (Rev 1:20)
Sometimes, it speaks figuratively of things or events as “messengers”…

the pillar of cloud (Exodus 14:19)
pestilence or plagues (2 Samuel 24:16-17)
But it usually describes the whole range of spirits whom God has created, including both good and evil angels, and special categories such as cherubim, seraphim, and the archangel.

Angels are mentioned at least 108 times in the Old Testament and 165 times in the New Testament (Chafer, Systematic Theology, II, 3). Hence, there is ample information available in Scripture to allow us to build a foundation for our knowledge of angelic beings.

Angels released the apostles from prison
http://www.christiananswers.net/q-acb/acb-t005.html

The unnamed angels who appear most often in Scripture carry out a variety of tasks—all designed to serve God…

Worship and praise - This is the main activity portrayed in heaven (Isaiah 6:1-3; Revelation 4-5).
Revealing - They serve as messengers to communicate God's will to men. They helped reveal the law to Moses (Acts 7:52-53), and served as the carriers of much of the material in Daniel, and Revelation.

Guiding - Angels gave instructions to Joseph about the birth of Jesus (Matthew 1-2), to the women at the tomb, to Philip (Acts 8:26), and to Cornelius (Acts 10:1-8).

Providing - God has used angels to provide physical needs such as food for Hagar (Genesis 21:17-20), Elijah (1 Kings 19:6), and Christ after His temptation (Matthew 4:11).

Protecting - Keeping God's people out of physical danger, as in the cases of Daniel and the lions, and his three friends in the fiery furnace (Daniel 3 and 6).

Delivering - Getting God's people out of danger once they're in it. Angels released the apostles from prison in Acts 5, and repeated the process for Peter in Acts 12.

Strengthening and encouraging - Angels strengthened Jesus after His temptation (Matt 4:11), encouraged the apostles to keep preaching after releasing them from prison (Acts 5:19-20), and told Paul that everyone on his ship would survive the impending shipwreck (Acts 27:23-25).

Answering prayer - God often uses angels as His means of answering the prayers of His people (Daniel 9:20-24; 10:10-12; Acts 12:1-17).

Caring for believers at the moment of death - In the story of Lazarus and the rich man, we read that angels carried the spirit of Lazarus to “Abraham's bosom” when he died (Luke 16:22).
Humble Bob
there are some accounts that claim that satan had created angels, the third dragged by his tail.

Makes sense to me. These would be the "children of the devil." spirits not men

CHERUBIM-(Choir)-The second of the nine accepted choirs of angels, placed second as well in the first triad of the angelic hieraechy (with the seraphim and thrones) devised by the sixth-century theologian Dionysius the Areopagite. The cherubim are some of the most powerful and awe-inspiring of all angels, standing below only the seraphim in direct closeness to God; they thus are second only to their seraphic brethren in the degree to which they emanate the love of God and possess knowledge and wisdom. Their illuminative knowledge and wisdom are thus so great as to be utterly incomprehensible to the mortal mind, blinding the blessed human who has the honor of actually beholding them in this world. The cherubim are additionally given the arduous task of maintaining the records of heaven and seeing to the myriad details that must be fulfilled to maintain the heavenly host. Dionysius declared them to be guardians of the fixed stars. By the Hebrews they were called kerub, a name that may mean "one who intercedes"; Their chiefs are named as being Cherubiel Kerubiel), Ophaniel, Gabriel, Uriel, Raphael, and Zophiel.

Thank You, MMarc :

Here is some information about the gate's . . . although I have clear understanding of the
spiritual gate [Cheth] / door [Daleth], which you speak about our Lord Messiah !

And I thank you, for reminding me. Here is the gates and stones in the same verse !

Which may be a type of shadow/parallel to what you bring to my attention ?

Isaiah 62:10 Go through, go through the gates, Clear the way for the people; Build up, build up the highway, Remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples.

QUESTION ?

Wisdom is calling from where? Why is She outside in the streets?

ANSWER :

Cizz :

Wisdom is calling from where? . . . Answer, ' the streets of Jerusalem' !

Why is She outside in the streets? . . . Answer, 'the streets are connected to the Jerusalem
GATES (see the gates map I included for you ?)'

. . . and due to "Gates" were the place of resort for traffic and public business: so here it expresses a mart of commerce frequented by merchants . . . and Cizz, you will need to study the following passages
related to greed, deceit and such, related to the preaching of WISDOM in Proverbs 1:20-21. Historical
wise in defiance of the will of God (Isa 23:9).

Proverbs 1:20-21

20 Wisdom calls aloud in the street,
she raises her voice in the public squares;

21 at the head of the noisy streets [a] she cries out,
in the gateways of the city she makes her speech:

Ezekiel 26:2

GOD'S WORD® Translation (©1995)
"Son of man, Tyre said this about Jerusalem: 'The city that was the gateway for the nations is destroyed, and its doors are swung open to me. I'll get rich now that it's ruined.'

Isaiah 62:10 Go through, go through the gates, Clear the way for the people; Build up, build up the highway, Remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples.

she . that was the gates-that is, the single gate composed of two folding doors. Hence the verb is singular. "Gates" were the place of resort for traffic and public business: so here it expresses a mart of commerce frequented by merchants. Tyre regards Jerusalem not as an open enemy, for her territory being the narrow, long strip of land north of Philistia, between Mount Lebanon and the sea, her interest was to cultivate friendly relations with the Jews, on whom she was dependent for corn (Eze 27:17; 1Ki 5:9; Ac 12:20). But Jerusalem had intercepted some of the inland traffic which she wished to monopolize to herself; so, in her intensely selfish worldly-mindedness, she exulted heartlessly over the fall of Jerusalem as her own gain. Hence she incurred the wrath of God as pre-eminently the world's representative in its ambition, selfishness, and pride, in defiance of the will of God (Isa 23:9).

she is turned unto me-that is, the mart of corn, wine, oil, balsam, &c., which she once was, is transferred to me. The caravans from Palmyra, Petra, and the East will no longer be intercepted by the market ("the gates") of Jerusalem, but will come to me.

Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary

26:1-14 To be secretly pleased with the death or decay of others, when we are likely to get by it; or with their fall, when we may thrive upon it, is a sin that easily besets us, yet is not thought so bad as really it is. But it comes from a selfish, covetous principle, and from that love of the world as our happiness, which the love of God expressly forbids. He often blasts the projects of those who would raise themselves on the ruin of others. The maxims most current in the trading world, are directly opposed to the law of God. But he will show himself against the money-loving, selfish traders, whose hearts, like those of Tyre, are hardened by the love of riches. Men have little cause to glory in things which stir up the envy and rapacity of others, and which are continually shifting from one to another; and in getting, keeping, and spending which, men provoke that God whose wrath turns joyous cities into ruinous heaps.
