UNION, S.C. -- Union police said that a man is facing several charges after he choked his grandmother, threatened his cousin with a rifle, and shot a Bible.

Police said on Wednesday, Mary Phillips woke up her 19-year-old grandson, James Phillips, to ask him if he knew where her debit card was. He told her he didn't know where the card was, and at that point her other grandson, 17-year-old Chad Phillips, came up behind her and began to choke her.

James Phillips said when he shouted at his cousin, Chad stopped choking his grandmother and lunged at him.

I've been observing the storm clouds gathering on the horizon...a storm of hatred towards Christ and anything christian. There is a movie by Bill Maher coming out in October that is very antichrist/ian. I've seen this hatred growing and escalating...it's spilling into every nook and cranny of society...and I don't see it stopping...rather it will continue to grow and thrive.

Nothing is sacred anymore. All is fair game, and Jesus suffers the brunt of the onslaught.

Welcome to the forum. There is a demonic plan to remove Christ from the nation and from people. If Christ is removed than more people will fall down and worship the little germ.

My son just sent an e-mail. He said that his roomate was annoying. His room mate has a constant buzz on and he is always cussing. I e-mailed Chris back and advised him to remember whose kid he is...Chris is the kid of the King...Our Lord.

If we do not have Christ in us it will be that much easier to being deceived.
