Hi everyone.

I had a bad dream twice in a row and after that was posted bad migraines went round and now i have been struck down by a migraine.

I have had a migraine for 6 days and every day it gets worse. i have missed a week off school and that is bad enough. it started last weekend with my pastors farewell. i have a small piece of jelly slice and didnt know it had lemon in it until afterwards. i instantly became sick with a migraine and have missed a vital week at uni. im incredibly noise and light sensitive...more noise then light at the moment....my vision has been all weird....been getting auras which i dont normally get and i see weird things that you wouldnt normally see....wont go into details. was really sick last night. i went to the dr again today and he is concerned and wants to see me again on monday. he said i was really tense in the muscles and all around my sinus area was sore but i havent had a cold or anything....he seems to think it is nothing more then just intense stuff from uni, the citrus and hormonal stuff and said that with nurofen it should go away but it hasnt and he wanted to put me on much stronger stuff but he cant cause im allergic to codiene. he said im not allowed to go to work and i have to rest, keep my fluids up and keep some sugar in to give me a bit of energy. but even though he said im not allowed to go to work i have to cause no one can get to glenorchy to finish the dog for me...its only til monday so i should be ok.

so please keep me in your prayers....i really need this migraine to go away so i can get back to normal and do my assignments. i also seem to be jumping at "shadows" (only a few know what i mean by that and there are lots of shadows ....)...ive been really scared too and im not one to be scared easily.

I am so sorry to read about thls pain you are enduring. Migrane headaches are extremely painful and stress can add even more pain. Pinky, try to take a shower in the hottest water possible and make sure that water splashes the head. Sometimes that does work in eliminating some of the pain. Another pointer is that you really do not want to be around alot of light...sometimes light causes intense pain.

Pinky, you are in my prayers and thoughts.

Sweetie... the other.... you stand firm! The Lord has not given us a spirit of Fear but a spirit of power and love and a sound mind. James says Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Speak the Word sweetie.... call on the name of Jesus and rebuke the enemy and his forces in the Name of Jesus. Love you girl I pray Lord Jesus that you will heal Pinky from this pain. Father I pray that you will give your angels charge over her and place a wall of protection about her. Lord you be her fortress and shield about her during this scary time in her life. I pray that you will show her what true power is and it is you. Father cover her under that shadow of Your wings and give her a place of refuge from these attacks. Lord let no evil come near her. Lord because she has known Your great name and proclaimed your doings I pray that in this time of trouble that you will deliver her from these attacks of the enemy and restore her health and courage. Father I thank you that we have access to you so that I can bring my dear sister to your feet. Lord there is none like you.... You alone are worthy to be praised. I give you all the praise and glory Father.... and pray this all in the sweetest name I know..... the name that is above EVERY NAME... Every Knee will bow Lord, In Jesus name.... Amen!

Pinky sounds like inflamed sinuses to me. I get that a lot. Maybe a sinus flush would work?

oooh my sister pinky it is sad to me for your migrain,i have a simple medicine for migrain,it is like solution,when we apply to the affected area then immeadiately no migrain.i am praying for your require sister pinky.

Allergies can definaltely lead to sinus irritation, and migraines! It hurts, but on the plus side in my case I can't mow the lawn because of mine!

You know we have been talking about this a lot on IM and in PM's and I am praying for you. My son gets them too but not like yours and I know Val knows what you are going through. I am glad you went to the doctor, you really scared me when you told me about the wavy lines and such... I do pray they find out exactly what the cause is and if it's food related that you can stay away from those foods/additives.

I am praying it goes away as fast as it came on. Lord HEAR OUR PRAYER!!! We know you know our bodies better than anyone, you are the GREAT PHYSICIAN. HEAL PINKY that she may show your glory and do your WILL AND MISSION that you have put her on Earth for.

Hi Pinky, I am praying for you.

I know how painful migraines are, I get them too. I have to lay in a dark, quiet room and it hurts worse to walk or stand. Drink some extra water, that might help a little. I take an RX for migraines when I get one.

I hope perhaps you are feeling better when you read this.........

update:

last night my fish phoenix died and i cried so hard i made my migraine worse. went to the drs today and he has given me another 2 days off but if i am feeling ok i will go to school cause ive already missed alot. he wants me to get my blood done, so im going there tomorrow where they will restrain me and knock me out or they will get knocked out from me kicking and screaming lol (i really dont like needles...have a phobia but only when they are for me...other people im fine lol) and getting some tests done and if im still not better by thursday then i have to go back and see the dr.

Just sending you a quick pm to let you know i wont be online for a little while, ive gotten sicker (thanks to richard grrr men pffttt). was at richards this evening when i was feeling better and he gave me half a raspberry and white chocolate scone...it tasted different and it had green stuff on and in it...i asked him if it was ok and he said yea...turns out the thing was covered with mould...i only ate half of the half scone i had cause it made me feel sick...and made me sick indeed. my migraine is worse and i have been crying from the pain it is causing me. i go to the dr again tomorrow at 10:45am and get my blood results....yes i was a good girl...didnt kick and scream as much as i thought i would have and they even gave me some jelly beans cause i was brave

i have been resting in a dark and noise free room....im staying at richards cause im in no state to drive. so just letting you know so you dont worry about me. im going to try and go to work tomorrow and go to classes from next week...i HAVE to go to class if there is nothing seriously wrong with me, ive missed way too much and my teachers are getting annoyed. im getting annoyed. its been 9 days...tomorrow 10 days and im just so sick and tired of it. i know i dont have to ask you to keep me in your prayers, i dont want there to be something seriously wrong but part of me does so they can make it stop and go away...its almost unbearable...it hurts so much it makes me cry until i fall asleep.

if for some reason i dont get on for a couple of days (incase im too sick or end up in hospital or something silly) i love you all very much and please dont worry about me. could someone please put something up on my thread to let the others know who are praying for me. thanks =)

I am praying for you. I was struck with migrain for 3 days and couldn't even lay
on the bed without being nauseated.

Father,
I come before you in agreement with healing prayers to speak forth the Blood of
the Lamb Jesus over the minds, bodies, and ministries of those that are suffering
from migraine attacks. I speak forth that every part come into complete alignment
with the Word of God and the way our body has been designed. I speak that
no weapon formed against us shall prosper and ask you Lord to protect us as a
sheild. Lord, you are our Father and the Physician we look to to provide for us
and heal us. I thank you now for doing this unto us that seek your name.

I so sympathize with you sweetie! I know at times I just did not know how I was going to continue..... especially when it continued day after day after day. I am so praying for you.... May the Lord give you relief and bring healing to your body!

thanks everyone. still sick, but im ok...tummy is still unsettled though and so is my head. bloods came back normal and i have to go back next week and if i still have it (10 days today) THEN he will do some more tests....

well folks, it has been 13 days, it has eased a bit...been getting heaps of exercise by walking gorgeous dogs...but i still have it it isnt as bad though which is good but i still have it and its annoying. please remember to pray for me and thanks for your prayers

you've been in my thoughts and prayers..

i wish i had good news. if only i didnt stay at church for the AGM meeting i wouldnt be feeling so sick and worse. the migraine was nearly gone...actually it was gone and all that was left was a minor headache. we had some soup at church and then had the AGM and everything went down hill from there. the meeting was ok until it got to the annual report and they were arguing over the annuel reports from what the treasurer and the pastor said...aparently there is personal opinions in the reports which affected the whole church and people were upset and arguing. it was stressful for me because i didnt understand it all...i kept asking the person next to me to explain what things meant and was even thrown off by what was going on with the arguements and what the fuss was all about. since then my migraine came back and forced me to a dark room with no light or sound yet again for the 14th day.....my head throbbing and i was totally unfit for work but i had to go. it isnt too bad now...still throbbing but i can stand a bit of light and noise...its more border line migraine and a nasty headache at the moment. but its back to the dr on tuesday. im not sure if it was people arguing from the meeting or something in the soup which i did check before hand to make sure there was nothing in it that would set it off and the person who made it clearly knows what im allergic to and didnt put anything in the creamy chicken soup that i was allergic to. *sighs* i just wish it would go away and never come back...i hate being sick with this horrible migraine
