Matt 24:

11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Just what is Jesus talking about here ? When ye shall see the abomonation of desolation spoken by daniel ?

First of all what kind of seeing is Jesus talking about ? The word see is the word eidon and it means:

) to see

a) to perceive with the eyes

to perceive by any of the senses

c) to perceive, notice, discern, discover

d) to see

1) i.e. to turn the eyes, the mind, the attention to anything



The seeing here is more of a perception with the mind..The same word is used in Jn 3:

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

This is a perception a percieving.. so right away we should understand that Jesus has born again ones in mind, who when they see or percieve the AOD..time is short..and its crucial.

Lets look at daniel to what the redeemer refers to !



Dan 9:

27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

12:

11And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Paul speaks or writes on this very same thing but this is how he presents it 2 thess 2:

1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,



2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Yes in vs 4 this is the abomination of desolation that daniel prophesied and which christ spoke of and what paul here writes about..



This is no other than The Satan the devil having taken over the churches [ The Temple] representing where God should dwell, and where the word of God should be Honored..however because The Holy Ghost, the one restraining, has been taken out the way, this is satans green light to take control of proffessing christianity, and erect, he and his demons all types of false doctrines in the church..Lets look at 2 tim 4:

3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

1 tim 4:

1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

So this is what Jesus is referring to, when the elect see this abomination of desolation. they should flee.. flee what ? Lets look at rev 18:

4And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

5For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Gods people the born again ones, will be given eyes to see and will be effectually called out of organized false religon which has been taken over by and now ruled by Satan.. The true gospel of Jesus christ is no longer honored in these churches.. the witness of the gospel is outside of the church..

Notice what Jesus says matt 24:



15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Is not paul saying the same ?

We are in this time now, and those who are in organized religon, no matter what denomination, whatever type baptist, methodist, pentecostal, even the sovereign grace churches, the reformed churches old predestinarian baptist, it doesn t matter, if you are in these churches come out if you belong to God..As I said, the true gospel is no longer preached, and where there is sembelence of it, its compromised for the sake of human tradition..

God is calling, His true people out of false religon and the false churches.. for His coming is at the door..

I am in total agreement. Satan himself is deceptively ruling in the churches and no one is becoming saved in them. Many who are still in the churches are not true believers, but have been deceived into thinking they are. God's elect already have, or will come out.

whenever i read stuff like this, i wonder, what church you are going to? i mean, i know most churces are dead and most denominations hiarchy has been take over by liberals that doubt the word of God but, even in my methodist church, (the methodist bishops are liberal and so are a lot of the doctrines) i can see the Holy Spirit working. People are coming to Christ. Lives are being healed.
The Lord is still working in the Church guys...dont be overly pessimistic ...

That falling away is apostocia or apastacy. This is the falling away of the church from traditional doctrine. Many church have apostacy. The Roman Catholic church has the sprinkling baptism. They also have the Lord's supper incorrectly. They pray to Mary. Most importantly they have the qualificaions of the Bishop pastor overseer incorrect. This is blatant apostacy. Most all churches have the second coming incorrect, derived from Darbyism. These are just a few examples of some apostacy, or falling away from the faith.

The Abomination desolation is something entirely different. It has not taken place. This will transpire in the middle of the tribulation, which begins at the inauguration of the One World Order. When we see the world unite into 10 different trade, and geographic sectors. Then we know the tribulation has begun. The unification will be run by a world leader, Satan incarnate. We are not there yet.

The Abomination that makes desolate is Satan entering the Israeli Temple and claiming to be God. This can not happen until it is rebuilt, which plans are already underway now. Do not confuse this with the apostacy. The Churches have always been apostate to some degree. Now we just see it on a world class level. Besides Daniel saw the temple, the animal scrifices, the antichrist forcing the Jews to cease the sacrifice and to worship him as God in the temple of God. Daniel had a vision of the future as it pertained to Israel, not the church.

God does ALL the work of salvation. We can do nothing at all to be saved. Every church pastor and religious denomination has their own idea of what we must do to be saved, e.g. saying the sinners prayer, responding to an altar call, baptism, church membership, 7 sacraments, eucharist, praying to a goddess, praying to dead 'saints', reciting repetitious prayers on a string of beads, etc. etc.

Revelation 14:17 And another angel came out of the Temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

Christ is the Temple. He is the Holy Place. So, to me, what is being said is.....Satan, the abomination of desolation, will "stand in the Holy place," or "sitteth in the Temple" playing like he is God, "shewing himself that He is God." This is not speaking of a literal temple but rather when he is on earth pretending to be Christ. He will be pretending to be the temple, the Holy One, looking and acting and deceiving the world into believing he is Christ. Those in Jerusalem may be attempting to build another temple but The Temple is now "in heaven."


Of course we must factor into that....

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the Temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the Temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

We also are part of that Temple but I don't quite know what that means in relation to the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place.....I'll have to think about this for a bit longer.

With all this being said, we can not trust man, the man that calls himself Bro Camping. He says the world as we know it will end in 2011. That has yet to be seen. I think he is wrong.

Keep in mind we can not discredit what Daniel said. In his vision he saw a rebuilt temple, he saw the sacrifices beginning again. He saw a peace treaty. He saw the antichrist going in the temple and claiming to be God, which is a complete desecration to Judaism. This desolation has nothing to do with the church. For such a reason God gave the vision to Daniel also. Now if Daniel had not seen it then I might begin to believe the abominaiton takes place in the local church. THough I do not doubt the apostacy has taken place and is progressing even more. I believe to think the abomination is in the church is apostacy. Do I believe Satan is in the church, ya. They went out from amoung us that there works might be made manifest.

So what people are saying is oh, dont go to church anymore, the devil is there. The devil is everywhere as hypocrites are also. Yet God commands us to not forsake the local assembling of ourselves unto God. There are still Spirit filled churches. I dont care if you have church in your basement, one had better go to church or have church somewhere. You can not assemble on the radio unto yourselves as we are commanded to do so. This Camping guy has mislead many, and Jesus is not coming in 2011 or even before that. We see that clearly in the Bible.

the churches of today have not paid heed to the commandment that God gave concerning them, but more-so men that serve two masters have taken the reigns of the church to serve their own ends - deception through compromise, deception through greed, deception to discourage the young away. it is true, let no man deceive by any means - there is only one thing that will never deceive & that is His Word. of a truth, what more is needed? in prayer, the LORD has given me commandment to not step foot in any church made with men's hands. in prayer, He has given me commandment to keep to His Word above ALL politics of the earth.

side note* - the 2011 scenario is indeed something of note & surprisingly i received awareness of this by a good hearted friend several months after the LORD had given me commandment to leave - is that coincidence? granted, i am investigating the matter in critical care with the Word as my guide so i have yet to reach finality on one point - calendar records of the Hebrews, but my original point concerns the great falling away mentioned above. that, i have reached finality ~ thanks be to God.

Wow, that is an interesting take on that scripture. The falling away being the true children of God, falling away from the church. To me, what it means is the apostasy....when those that have loved God fall away from Him because they are deceived by the fake christ. They will believe the fake is the Saviour so...they fall away from true worship into idolatry, even though they won't realize it. But, that is parallel to what you are saying. Those that are part of the apostasy are those that stay in the churches worshipping the fake.

Perhaps there is a duplicate "falling away" going on at the same time. Whichever...the man of sin will be revealed and we must know who he is....the first to arrive!

This is correct. Most are unaware, and obviously have no understanding as to the magnitude of the deception before them; and they are unable to spiritually discern false church leaders and teachers.

The Lord brought me out from the churches also, about 8 years ago.

The CHURCH is the Body of Christ...the true believers; not a building made by human hands; and they will desire to come out from, and have no part of any religious / political system in these last days. True believers worldwide are coming out from the churches and finding fellowship with like-minded sisters and brothers in home Bible study groups.

The man of sin does not bring on the apostacy. The apostocia or falling away of the church from traditional doctrine comes first. We see that in 95% or our bible believing churches. I know many have been hurt by local apostate churches but hey lest bruch ourselves off and find good ones.
