From the Board of Directors
We wish to thank all of our friends and partners for the overwhelming flood of support and compassion we have received as a ministry on behalf of Todd and Shonnah Bentley. The many phone calls and emails of concern from people who genuinely love the Bentleys and Fresh Fire Ministries have been a great encouragement to all of us here during these past few days. In particular, the rallying of support and prayer for Todd and Shonnah by prominent leaders within the Body of Christ has been a beautiful indicator of the maturity and grace the Lord is bringing to his Bride.
We wish to acknowledge, however, that since our last statement from the Fresh Fire Board of Directors, we have discovered new information revealing that Todd Bentley has entered into an unhealthy relationship on an emotional level with a female member of his staff. In light of this new information and in consultation with his leaders and advisors, Todd Bentley has agreed to step down from his position on the Board of Directors and to refrain from all public ministry for a season to receive counsel in his personal life.
On behalf of the Fresh Fire leadership and the Board of Directors we wish to apologize to our friends and partners and to the larger body of Christ and to ask for your forgiveness. We are truly sorry for the pain many of you must feel and so regret that in the midst of great revival, the enemy has found a way into our camp. To those who have stood by us, we wish to thank you for what in many cases has been years of support. Thank you for your financial giving towards the vision of this ministry, and thank you especially for your prayers. For those of our partners, friends and supporters who may be struggling with the recent disclosures and finding continued support of this ministry in conflict with either conscience or conviction, we release and bless you with all our hearts and trust that God will redeem in your hearts the good that He has accomplished in your lives through this ministry. It is our sincerest hope and prayer that the Lord bless you and bring you into your fullest destiny in Him.
When this ministry was initially birthed in May of 1998, Todd had but one simple desire in his heart – to see the world come to know Jesus. Now, only 10 years later, Fresh Fire Ministries has grown to become a Resource Center that is literally reaching out to all the corners of the Earth. There have been dozens of associate ministries, scores of interns and hundreds of graduates from the Supernatural Training Center. Over 60 nations have received a combined total of more than five million dollars in humanitarian aid and we have seen well over one million conversions for Jesus Christ.
And so, the question can well be asked... where do we go from here? It is true that we are deeply saddened by these recent events, but it hasn’t shaken our faith in either God or His goodness towards us and with the help of wise and compassionate leaders within the body, we will do everything within our power to see our brother and sister healed and restored.
As a ministry, we can not forsake the vision and heartbeat upon which Todd Bentley founded Fresh Fire Ministries which is simply this:
Matthew 10:7-8
And as you go, Preach, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand” Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
While Todd and Shonnah each go through the necessary steps towards restoration and wholeness, we are compelled, with the resources with which God has entrusted us, to continue to spread God’s love and power all over the world.
There are many noble activities and endeavors in which Fresh Fire Ministries is involved, initiated by Todd, and to which we are still committed. We have the Supernatural Training Centre, our school of ministry, already in it’s fourth full year and with more than 50 students already enrolled we’re believing for an amazing year of biblical instruction, practical application and encounters with the presence of God. Many mature and gifted speakers and associates, graduated interns and teachers filled brim-full with the DNA and fire of this ministry are ready to pour revelation and passion into the hungry hearts of this coming year’s student body.
We will continue to host conferences in our region with speakers and worship leaders from around the nation whose message and mandates resonate with the vision and heart of Fresh Fire Ministries. In addition, we are committed to supporting the growing “OutPourings” across North America and around the world with our Associates, with encouragement and prayer support. In Todd’s own words, “What God is doing is bigger than one man”, and we now have a golden opportunity as the Body of Christ to pick up the baton and to run with perseverance for His glory.
Our missions department is progressing, as previously mentioned, with our major African crusade. With close to 100 team members in attendance, excitement is beginning to build and team members have responded that they are still believing God for the most amazing missions trip ever! Our Uganda Jesus Village in Kampala is forging ahead with the recent acquisition of 35 acres of land 30 minutes drive from our present location. Two of the 15 homes planned for the property are nearing completion, and the expanded village, when finished, will house almost 150 orphans rescued from war torn northern Uganda.
So whether in our Children’s Home in Africa, in our Supernatural Training Centre in British Columbia, in the revival meetings and outpourings spreading around the globe, or in taking teams to minister compassion and practical assistance to the poor in the far corners of the Earth, we have been and still are committed to bringing love, hope and a demonstration of the saving, healing, delivering power of the Gospel to a world in need.
Thank you all once again for your prayers and support. We bless each and every one of you in whatever decision you must make. Please know that our heart in all of this is to see the name of the Lord vindicated, and we take great encouragement from Psalm 23 and the Lord’s promise that He will “lead us in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” Together we look to the mercy and wisdom of our loving Father and we remain as ever, your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Oh my.

I would imagine those that believed in him feel as if they have been punched in the stomach.
When I was a teenager I attended a church with friends for a few months. The preacher yelled out fire and brimstone and how terrible it was for young people to go to dances...such as the prom. Well, many that went to that church didn't attend their senior prom.
Not long after graduation I saw the same preacher out on the dance floor with someone...not his wife...and learned he had been caught embezzling funds.

Personally, seeing this...yep...I could go down the road of condeming the man. But I will not, I will pray that he truelly repents and that his own marriage be restored, and get a deeper and more lasting love and faithfulness to his wife. See I see that this is the bigest agrea for pasters, that the be lead away, intaced and temped and than no one is there to help pic them up after that sin is found out. I love that there be a ground of brothers that run to this man and his wife, to build them up. I ask Abba, that you help restore this and not let the plains of saten over talk him. I pray that both his wife and him sees what this truelly was about, and that they learn not to turn away from it. I ask that you give a gift of of passon for each other unlike ever befor. That they would learn to draw towards each other and not let others that dont belong lose to them, to tempt them, in! In Jesus name, amen!

a brother has fallen does this give you the right to devour him like this ? this wind i know of Todd Bently and i know of whirlwind and roxygal and peacemaker and researcher but i do not know who you or or do i know if you are true to your self
why do you judge this brother should you not be praying for this brother and his wife and his family i observed his sessions on god tv and have saved what i have observed
no one is perfect when i heard that todd bently resigned and read what brother researcher left i began to lift this man beofore the lord i tend not to join the band wagon and say what i like when it comes to cyber space and inter net forums like this
so what he showed his human side and what i have been picking up he probably was deceived as the leaders were praying over the sessions that were being run in lake land florida
when god showed you your sins did he not forgive you when you said the sinners prayer
hay my fiancee is a pastor and i do my best to shield her its so easy to point and say what pastors and evangelists should be doing i also warned our members to pray instead of trying to find flaws when ever a pastor or evangilist falls i notice that certain people come out saying what ever they feel but i wonder do you pray for your pastor do you say to your pastor i love you brother i am praying over you and your family or do we expect them to be perfect ?
this brother needs prayer he needs us praying over him and his wife and family yes its terrible what he has done i also know about the split he is no longer with his wife but he is with the person he has been having an afair with
satan wil have to answer to what he is doing when it comes to our pastors and evangilists when god does decide its time to judge you wil find your self standing before god just like me and he wil be looking at what we have done he does not want to know what todd bently did he wil be wanting to know did you obey his commandments did you forgive did you do what his son said in the new testament
dont judge this brother instead cover this brother in prayer
as i said i shield my fiancee who soon wil be my wife the best way i can and if i catch any member gossiping or saying she should be doing this i rebuke them and tell them fo focus on what god is wanting them to hand over

This is the latest release from Wagner, as one by one they hang Todd out to dry. Compare this statement with the one at the bottom which was released on June 24th along with Chuck Pierce’s glowing endorsement “THE LAKELAND APOSTOLIC FINDINGS From the Lakeland Outpouring Apostolic Team by C. Peter Wagner, Convening Apostle Introduction Few events in recent church history have drawn as much national and international attention as the Lakeland Outpouring, May-August 2008, led by evangelist Todd Bentley and his Fresh Fire Ministries team.

This is typical of the dangerous place ministers of God who are being used to promote the gospel find themselves. Instead of of we all realizing his sin, we need to realize the fallibility of all men and know that if we were placed in a postition of authority and great acclaim the attacks from Satan begin to multiply proportionately. He has repented and he has gone for council. He has let go his office. That suggests a moral desire to make amends. I have been waiting for this. The attacks come and a man rarely stands. He probably has been weakened and taken down also by the vain innuendo against him as he stood in a place. That always weakens a man, if he listens long enough., I pray he recovers his lost regard and personhood and that his marriage remains intact.

Abba, I left up Tood and sharon, heal their marriage, and help them become closer than ever befor. I pray that you hlep todd see where things state and helps others not do that same sin. Father you can use him still, as you did Peter and the others that fall from you when you needed them. Keep after him, Sir. Help his wife see what the true battle is here, it isnt her husband and what he has done, but those that drove him to it. I pray that you block all jezibal spirits from him from this point. I ask Abba, that you raise more very strong G-dly men to seround him so that is will be even harder to fall.
And Abba, I pray for that women as well that found it ok, to still that that didnt belong to her, I ask that you help her from what drove her to do what she did. I pray that you make her sick of that sin, so that she doesnt repeat it, and help her, move on. Help her hate braking vows and the provoking of others to do the same. I pray that you put a wall of protection around this women with those that hate sin but not the sinner, ones that will love her back into the faith. Make her stronger than she was, able to stand against this temptation, and helping others to do that same.
In Jesus name I pray this, amen!

I agree with what you have written, and I hope that he has a true desire for repentance; this would show me that he is a man of God more then anything he has said during his ministry. Our spirits are born into a body of sin and corruption, which we must overcome...this is the good fight, and it is as simple as that, and what "this" life is all about...to love God and overcome sin by the Blood of the Lamb, so we can ascend into our next state of being...we are still being created.
James 5:20
"Let him know, that he which converts the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins."It is not that he has sinned, if he has repented of the sin, and turned away from it...which is what true repentance is, and God bless him and give him the courage to repent. He has stepped down from his ministry, hopefully to show his repentence and acknowledgement his sin before the world; he will be a much stronger man of God when he returns...but he must remain humble in his spirit.
For behold this selfsame thing, that you sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it worked in you, yes, what clearing of yourselves, yes, what indignation, yes, what fear, yes, what vehement desire, yes, what zeal, yes, what revenge! In all things you have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.2 Corinthians 7:11
We in the body of Christ are in no position to judge this man for his sin, for if we judge to condemn, we are condemned; therefore, I would have mercy, and not condemning judgement...judgement must always be tempered by mercy, and not condemnation...especially when it concerns members of the body of Christ...especially if God grants repentance for sins.
"Repentence is a rocky road best travelled in the day, when there is light, lest darkness comes, and I stumble in the darkness, and then comes the fall. I therefore humble myself before God, who has called me to walk this road of repentance."

Samson was not perfect and yet God used him.
Nathan told David, God has forgiven you. But David had to pay a price.
Jesus when He spoke to the churches in Revelation, they were all Christian Churches
but Jesus told them to repent so they would get their reward etc.
I sense God is not finished with Todd.
Todd had hit a "wall" a few years back, then the Lakeland revival took place.
As we go from glory to glory, I can only imagine what it will be when Todd repents.
It should be interesting to see.
Jesus said He would prune those He loves so they can bear more fruit.
And I doubt this negates what God has done through this servant.

Interestingly, it was Smith Wigglesworth who stated, “Most people seem to have discernment, or think they have, and if they would turn it on themselves for twelve months they would never want to discern again. The gift of discernment is not criticism. I am satisfied that our paramount need is more perfect love.”
One thing that still seems prevalent in the Church today is an “either it’s God or it’s not” mentality. Truth is, all of us see in part, and every movement, ministry, and individual believer is in the process of growth in the knowledge of God. The easiest thing to do in this process is to recognize the gaps and inconsistencies in other saints, and to write them off for those gaps.
This is unfortunately far from the Pauline view of the Church. Do we know of anyone besides Jesus Himself who was more jealous than Paul for the salvation of Israel, the maturation of the Church, and the glorification of God in the earth? Paul is, aside from Christ, the great NT prototype for foundational leadership, and his disposition toward the churches (even the most immature communities) was quite antithetical to the views of the “stand-offish” critic.
The situation at Corinth was the clearest example of this. Paul was dealing with a community of believers who had immorality in their midst, who were fraught with jealousies, divisions and schisms, who had very disorderly gatherings, whose meetings were doing “more harm than good,” who were doubting his own apostleship, and who were having issues and doubts regarding the reality of the resurrection. Have you ever run into a community of believers in that rough of a condition? Seriously.
In Chapter 11 of 1 Cor. Paul even states that sickness and premature death has broken out in their midst as a judgment from the Father for their lack of value for the Body in the context of the meal of the Lord. Judgment is breaking out in their midst, and Paul has the audacity (or should it be called an apostolic faith and sight?) to address them as “saints” and “holy ones” in the opening of the epistle.
A friend of mine just paid my way roundtrip to visit Bethel Church in *****. He was so moved by the Lord upon a few visits that he was convinced he needed to fly me up there. After prayerful consideration, I believed it to be in the mind of the Lord.
If you knew me personally, you would know that I’ve carried a fervent, and highly serious jealousy for spiritual maturity in the Church, true revival, community, and the recovery of the centrality of Christ for over 12 years now. Some of the men who are referred to positively on these blogs are friends of mine, even fathers in the faith to me (and one was a “grandfather” in the faith to me before he passed away recently).
Now I can say without flinching that there are things at Bethel (and in various modern movements for that matter) that I am in strong disagreement with. I nearly came out of my seat during one of the sermons on my last visit, I felt it was so off base. I do have some concerns about different angles, views and methods at Bethel.
In all candor, however, when I hear statements like this one from an above post, my spirit is grieved:
“I have not taken the time to listen or read any of the teachings for myself, but I just categorize that type of ministry along with the other counterfeit’s and hype that is out there.”
It doesn’t matter how much certain expressions “get under our skin”, even issues that are true issues of concern. If we cannot go to the cross, even on behalf of those who are “white-washed tombs”, we are not expressing the wisdom of Christ. We are called to express the same reality in the present that Jesus revealed at the cross.
My visit to **** was of course a mixture. I must ask, however, would it be a mixture if I visited your home lives? Your churches? Your secret lives? Would it be a mixture if you visited my personal way of living? If you visited the fellowship I’ve planted here in Kansas City? Is there any church or work that is expressing the fullness of Jesus Christ yet?
While I had concerns for certain things, the Lord still used those saints to speak some significant things to my heart and life. I’ve not been engaged much in the area of “personal prophecy”, but a few of the brothers and sisters there had very timely, specific, and significant words to share with me. My heart was quickened by the Spirit for the labor to which He has called me in Kansas City. Thankfully, I had the grace to look past some of the “concerns”, to receive from the Lord.
“Isn’t it a bad well to draw from, though?” you ask.
Well, was Corinth? Paul never doubted the validity of their spiritual gifts, did he? He simply challenged them to get things into order, and I believe they were off in a lot more ways that Bethel.
I look at all of us through the lens of Paul in the context of Corinth. Did he address issues that needed challenging? Yes, as one sent to them, he did. Would Paul have criticized the church at Corinth on a blog that was mostly viewed by folks with the same critical views? I highly doubt it. He addressed those with whom he had immediate responsibility and relationship as an apostle, and aside from that he was occupied with seeing the Gospel revealed to hearts who were bound in darkness.
Does this mean we have to be an apostle to raise concerns? Certainly not. But to categorize other believers (no matter how immature, or incomplete in doctrine or practice) as mere counterfeits is simply the opposite of what the apostle demonstrated.
The Body of Jesus is mangled at present, and there is not much in that Body that we may look upon with a sense of completion. We need the sight of Joseph of Arimathea, a man of “high-position” who was able to go against the tide of bitterness, self-righteousness, and unbelief which flowed so powerfully through his religious colleagues. He was able to look upon that Body, mangled though it was, and to VALUE it, though it had not yet appeared in resurrection glory.
“It takes half a man to criticize,” said Sankey, who was Moody’s worship leader. It takes the resurrection life within to look upon the Body of Christ as Jesus presently is from the right hand of the Father.
Shall we be jealous for fullness? For a purging of bad teachings and doctrines? For a maturity to come to the Church again? Most assuredly. We must. But the only way for that maturity and depth to be restored in the last analysis is for us to go to the cross ourselves.
The mystery of Israel is the revelation that God is a God of mercy, and that His people are simply those who have received the grace to come under the rod of His Fatherhood and governance. When we think we’ve earned anything, we’ve removed ourselves from the grounds of the Gospel. If I realize that I haven’t earned anything (including insight into Scriptures or maturity of vision), I have the grace to look at the Church- in all of its various deficiencies- and to thank God for it, while crying out for mercy on Her behalf.
I want to be found in the counsel of the Lord, friends. He’s more jealous for the fullness of Christ than any of us. He’s wanting to raise up foundational servants, who will proclaim His heart to Israel and the nations. The Church does need to be called to repentance. The Church does need a higher vision of the standards of God. Ultimately, we need “the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God” Himself. That Word will only come from broken-hearted vessels who have been united with Him in the Holy Place.
Jesus is the ultimate revelation of this. There is no one more jealous for truth, purity, reality, and fullness than Him. And the way He set out to establish that was by laying His own life down for the very ones who were crucifying Him. He continues to demonstrate that today, interceding from the right hand of Majesty. Shall we follow Him, or a bag of opinions and ideals?
O, for the Spirit and nature of Christ Himself to permeate our lives today

"So you say. What defines fraudulent Christianity?"
The behavior of those who practice it. The Lord said that many would come in His name and would deceive many. I would also suggest reading 2Peter 2 and 3; and 2Timothy 3 and 4. The descerning believer will spot fradulent behavior every time.

This question was also asked by a curious inquirer:
"In light of the destructive things currently going on in the body (i.e. Todd Bentley, etc… ) you being a discerning Man of God would you characterize Todd Bentley as just immature or just incomplete in doctrine? How much worse would a ministry have to get to characterize it as a counterfeit?"
Here is my response:
I will give you what will likely be an unsatisfying answer. Whatever you do or say, let it come from a place of faith, humility, love, and the fear of the Lord. Do it in light of the Cross, in light of the coming Judge, in light of the Presence of God, and in light of the Scriptures.
The manner in which we view other souls (believing or unbelieving) has everything to do with our standing before God at the judgment seat, and Jesus said that the “second” commandment was “like the first.”
I have not the release from the Lord at this point to speak directly about Todd Bentley. I would only say that I believe Christ is interceding for him at the right hand of the Father. Indeed, the recent exposures are a mercy from God, in hopes that he might be brought onto the grounds of truth, reality and wholeness. Regardless of what I feel about his life and ministry, the Lord has glorious intentions for the man, and my highest hopes are that these recent events will help to lead him to a place in God that he never knew was available.
Oswald Chambers wisely noted that the Lord often shows us shortcomings and faults in others, and that the vast majority of the time it is for the purpose of intercession. There may be a time when you or I will be called by the Lord to speak out directly against “the dangerous and destructive” (as I myself have when under His direct leading), but until we are in the same place of priestly intercession that Jesus Himself is in, we are “dangerous and destructive” ourselves.
The sword of truth, when wielded without the Spirit and love of Jesus Himself, produces a premature and chaotic battle, and the ones found wielding it in that manner are underdeveloped & unprepared soldiers.
It is not enough to have a doctrine regarding mercy, we must be MEN OF MERCY. Such a Man is Christ Himself, and when the time comes for Him to deal out retribution, there is perfect justice and clear vision throughout.
The only safe place, then, is to abide with Him, hearing and following His counsel. Without abiding in Him in reality, we can do nothing.

I hope that he will mature now and learn what is a very deep lesson of the Lord. Todd is only human. He has stepped down, and hopefully is turning to the Lord in humility and brokenness. It would be good to see him get back together with his wife. We, as brethren should still wish the best for him. We are all vulnerable. The human soul can be very needy in times of great intensity. The human heart can deceive and be deceived so easily. It is the very mercy of God that we fail at times...that we may learn more deeply the way of Christ. Can we condemn Peter for denying Christ? I, for one, will not cast a stone at him. Lord, bring him into more of the truth. Illuminate his path.

Todd Bentely is a fraud and has been deceived by other leaders of the latter rain cults. His behavior can be forgiven, but his "christian" front is a total deception and this one is his own personal accountability.
have you writtten to fresh fire ministries and Todd Bently saying that he is a flake ?
its so easy to say this in forums like this but one thing i dont do is bring down a man who has fallen and then attack him openely
try do the decent thing and send fresh fire ministries a letter stating your concerns

you mention tattoos...
i have nothing against a tattoo that was received before becoming a christian but i do have a problem with a so called christian receiving tattoos AFTER he becomes one.
the bible is quite clear about marking ones body ...Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD
i can believe that getting one after conversion would be a lapse of judgement but to continue doing so?
has this man been doing the work of his father? the only fruit i have seen is confusion. and who is the author of confusion? lakeland has sown discord and discontent. even dutch sheets has come out and spoken adversly about it.
i have a friend going to the states next week to visit lakeland even after i have warned him. and he is no young immature christian either. so lakeland continues to deceive
if bentley is genuine i would not expect him to rise to the prominence he has hel again. it should be noted that many high profile preachers have failed for one reason or another and never risen to the prominence they had before.
my heart therefore does not go out to bentley the deceiver, intentional or not, but to the deceived and the many who will turn from christ because this was not stopped by the so called leaders who gave him sanction in the first place.

"So you say. What defines fraudulent Christianity?"
The behavior of those who practice it. The Lord said that many would come in His name and would deceive many. I would also suggest reading 2Peter 2 and 3; and 2Timothy 3 and 4. The descerning believer will spot fradulent behavior every time.

i dont know much about this man or weather he had these tattoos done while he was a christian
i am doing my own re search on this man and i tend not to join the band wagon and say i agree
i am from Australia and have never heard of this man but sevral of my friends know of todd bently and have had good things to say about him
i got my tattoos when i was a non believer and have not marked my body since i have been a christian
i have been going over the revival for my self i have down loaded some of the pod casts for my personal use
i prayed over my self so that nothing sticks to me that way i tend to find out what all the fuss is
i have not seen were he kicked a certain person with cancer but hay i have seen some weird and wacky things since i have been a christian but i tend not to judge because some one is doing some thing that i do not agree with
ok kicking and then hitting some one while praying for them is not off god and if i see any christian doing this i wil personaly take them to the side and rebuke them that is not off god but i heard that this was happening at lake land
i do understand why you are concerned and you are with in your rights to be concerned i too pray that no one has been deceived and taken for a ride
if todd has alowed him self to be deceived god wil deal with this its not up to me to point the finger at a man who i know nothing about
so this is why i am looking at this in a difrent light he is human and he is a brother
if he got these tattoos while in a ministry role then i would be writting a personal letter to fresh fire ministrys and asking why has a evanglist like todd bently been alowed to mark him self christians should not be doing this but christians do get tattoos and it puzzle me why its not cool you are marked for life
i warn the youth in my church not to do this i also have seen were christians have lied and takken on some one elses testimony god knows why some do this
i do hear you Brian G

The Scriptures are never wrong about the evaluation of false prophets and false teachers. Your question here is mute.

Once again, I find myself in Stephen's camp on the Lord's side.
Todd Bentley's problems streach a bit further than a desire for some strange.
Everything from the music to the overall spirit of his ministry is corrupt.
These men are tare gatherers, just as Rick Warren, Promise Keepers, Moral Majority, and every other false wind that has blown through in the last 100 years.
Just because some one wears a suit and hollers "JESUS" and "PRAISE THE LORD" and performs a sign or a wonder, everybody assumes he has been sent by God.
I got news for you, the Devil was in the religion business long, long ago. Why he will even call down fire from heaven and that will be alot harder to resist than some fat guy with tatoos testifying to the rebellion and contempt of this generation of his wrath.

And so is scriptures very clear about accusers of the bretren...
If you judge someone then you place yourself above others, this is pride. God resists the proud.
Lucifer placed himself above others by accusing the brethren day and night towards God...
Maybe some were turned off by Todd's actions but how many more were turned to Jesus because God working through Todd.
Again judge the saints of the bible by their actions and you'll be judging God for having chosen them.
Why did God chose imperfect vessels to write the bible Stephen, please explain to me WHY GOD USED IMPERFECT MEN TO WRITE THE BIBLE.
PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO US.

“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground. 9 But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.

The Lord's Word judges the false prophet and false teacher. Todd Bentely is both, and the scriptures expose his behavior .... not only his latter rain association and related theology, but his personal life. The latter rain pied pipers of the 50s and 80s were all judged by the Lord and Todd Bentely was produced and supported by these movements. These are cult movements led by aberrant teachers and they also have ambitions to make merchandise of those who engage in their folly. This kind of behavior continues to make a sham of Christianity and all should avoid association with them.

i went over one of the pod casts last night that i down loaded for my self
what i saw was this
shunnah benlty on stage while todd was praying he said to his kids that he asked to come on stage mummy is drunk and is drinking from the lords cup
was shunnah bently influenced by the spirit or was satan at work
i dont know much about the movements in America since i am from Australia
i gave my heart to the lord in 1988 so i dont know much about the movements stephen mentioned
also the guys playing in the back ground are they appart of fresh fire ministrys or do they belong to other churches ?
what i observed was this todd praying for the two leaders of god tv and then praying for certain folk his father could not be there but he was at home on line weighting to talk to those who support fresh fire ministrys
i am not affected by what i saw last night i prayed over my self before i watched the first session
the music was ok as we sing some of thes songs in our church
also todd prayed over his kids he just placed his hand gently on their heads and prayed for familys
i down loaded the pod casts i wanted and when i get back from church as its sunday in Australia i wil go over the other pod casts i got this from god tv i signed up on friday night
my friend also wants to see this as he has not heard off todd bently he is the dean of our bible collage so i wil send what i have saved to the dean
trust me when i say this nothing has stuck to me i heard sevral share how they felt something off when watching the revival on line
i do this when i come on this forum and when i sign of i pray over my self and ask the lord to take what is not off him

"If you feel he is a flake have the back bone and write to fresh fire ministrys and if fresh fire ministrys avoids what you have pointed out go above them"
>I have more back bone than you can imagine and I have no need to to converse with Fresh Fire. I have spent many years studying the christian cults and their leaders so I can tell you that Bentely is a product of William Brahnam, Rod Brown, Paul Cain, and a number of those who have deceived and mislead followers through false claims, prophecies, and teaching. The internet is repleate with the records of these self appointed prophets and their eventual demise. You must decide for yourself if you want to follow the likes of these men. The Church has been riddled by misleading error throughout its existence and these things are extremely present today. We are approaching the time of the Lord's coming judgment period and He said that many would come just before and deceive many while professing to be "christian" leaders. I must warn you that there are grave and dangerous underpinnings associated with this kind of pseudo-christian behavior. Study your Bible, ask the Lord to guide you, and stay on the straight and narrow road as the He requires of the believer.

I wish they'd all resign who hold to the same false doctrines as Todd Bentley. When will people recognize that spiritual perversion also displays itself physically?
We are not called to accept every wind of doctrine. Nor are we called to compromise the faith once delivered in order to appease grand ego's or to have the approval of man.
I believe these false ministers are being allowed in order to test the hearts of those who claim loyalty to Christ and His teachings...but those who are spiritually discerning have the mandate to expose the darkness in the hopes that those who are caught or bound by false doctrines will see the light and change their mindsets.
God bless you all,
Kim
and ps- If you want to know what Todd Bentley has taught which is false doctrines, there are plenty of studies online which shows the truth. Our standard should always be the word of God, not man.
