Once again if you can't stand the heat don't get involved in this discussion. I will hurt your feelings over the truth of God.
This is a wide open discussion of all false doctrines such as rapture, heaven, hell, angels man child, tongues and so on.

You posted verses that are partially translated, but you have not stated what false doctrine have they made from them. First let us fully translate the scripture.

Revelation 21:9 And there came one of the seven messengers who had the seven bowls, who were weighed down with the seven last plagues; and he spake with me, saying, Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.

I would agree because of these verses.

Ephesians 2:21 in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

They will not be complete until after all who are added during the thousand year reign.

How about "Judge Not, Lest You Be Judged!"

Matthew 7:1

I find that one to be a very big one these days. Probably more quoted than John 3:16, in this day and age.

Are you saying this is not a true statement? There is no clear way to misinterpret that scripture. If you are saying making judgment about others does not bring judgment upon yourself, then that would seem to be a false doctrine.
tsth
No, I'm saying that it is constantly misunderstood and used out of context. The teaching that this passage is a part of, is what needs to be understood, not just that passage alone. But, I'll reserve further explanation until endtime has had an opportunity to comment.

Hello Suzanne

Yes, this is the one that keeps those who love their sin safe from judgment. Here are some verses that speak otherwise.

Luke 12:57 "Yes, and why, even of yourselves, do you not judge what is right?

John 7:24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."

John 5:30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

If you are knowingly sinning and then judging others for the same type of thing. then you are in trouble. That is why this following verse follows that statement.

Matthew 7:1-3
1 "Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?

If you have put on Christ and are walking in His Spirit and seeking only His Will then the other scripture applies to you.

It means that what is being taught in the mainstream of Christianity under these titles is false doctrines. Some of the things I listed are not even in the verses of the bible at all. Some of the false doctrines are very old and have leavened the whole lump, over a very long time.
Don't get me wrong God has a remnant that is increasing in number daily who are straightening out His path before the return of the Lord.

Very good one used by homos, and lesbos for the most part. They claim GOD Says to judge not but forget that God tells us to Judge rightly that we may decsern from right and wrong. Since God tells us this wicked, vile permiscuous sin is unacceptable to be counted holy we can judge rightly and condemn the sin as GOd has already done so in his word. We can therefore judge rightly with GOd's stamp of approval. Look to be very unpopular though, as that will be the result.

For instance, in his word God tells us to separate ourselves from sinful behaviours and those that practice them. God gave us his holy judgement here to guide us;.1. II Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers
2. James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
3. James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin.
4. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you,21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
tsth
I would like to further clarify now. Yes, endtimes, we are in agreement, but I would also like to elaborate a bit on it, using The Word.

The problem with the phrase......used alone, without the whole context of the passages around it, is that it misses the point of what Jesus was teaching, which was in regard to "hypocrisy". The point was not about making judgments about certain issues, but rather about not being a professing Christian who is a hypocrite.

In regard to your post Gideon, it was a bit harsh, and somewhat in error, even though we should not be yoked together, we need to be a light to ALL those in sexual immorality, not just homosexual/lesbian lifestyles, but ALL sexual sins. Here is the accurate teaching on how we are to deal with these things (within the body):

1 Cor. 5:1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named* among the Gentiles--that a man has his father's wife! 2 And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3 For I indeed, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged (as though I were present) him who has so done this deed. 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6 Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

9 I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. 10 Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner--not even to eat with such a person. 12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore "put away from yourselves the evil person."

As the body, we are supposed to be able to make "right judgments" within the body (see endtimes verses listed with regard to making right judgments)

Delusional
I have read the passage in it's entire context. It is my favorite part of the bible. You cannot change what Jesus said based on something Paul said. Jesus is the Christ.

The context in the message is looking inward and accounting for your own path. Look to the plank in your own eye. Once that is accomplished you can help others and it will not be based on judgement, but wisdom, compassion, and understanding. Jesus spoke out mightily against hypocrites, scribes, and pharisees which seem to be what a lot of christians are although here are abundant good christians in this world. The loudest and condemning ones aren't necessarilly the correct ones. Why do you look to someone else to justify your position?

To point to this scripture as justification for sin is not appropriate, just as it is not appropriate to discount it's meaning in its original context. If I do not judge others, I will not be judged. I certainly am to consider my own actions as is stated in the context of this message.

I was born and raised into the church of christ denomination

I fell away from that teaching (prosperity and neo-republican)
I still consider myself a christian although I have studied or at least educated myself about other faiths.
I look to the teachings of Jesus above all.
I am looking into joining a unity church of christianity (at least their online sermons are free)

Yes, once he or she (in spite of paul's teachings) is free themselves. A bound person cant preach freedom. You quoted absolute truth in the context of false doctrine. I will not defend your position or wait for others to come to your defense as you have requested.

The sermon on the mount is the absolute teaching of Christ. Beleive it or don't belive it, that is your choice. You can talk about context all you want. We are good at legitimizing our own point of view. I should certainly care about the salvation of others, but the blind cannot lead the blind and if we are blind to the teachings of christ we are blind indeeed, whether or not someone named endtimes backs up our opinion or not.

The ignorance spoken by your flesh is not Christ. Your responses give you away. I will defend her and everyone like her to the death. In the flesh you are nothing and in the Spirit you are less. If you show the Spirit of God won't you be accepted?

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

Dear Delusional,

Your post doesn't even make sense. I did not ask for anyone to come to my defense. I don't require it, as I have the Word of God as my defense. That is sufficient. If anyone seems to you, to come to my defense, it is more accurately someone in agreement with the Word of God, the WHOLE counsel of God, rather than partial verses used out of context and as a cloak to hide behaviors that are not Christlike.

Again, I would examine 1 Cor. 5 and decide either ALL of the Word of God is inspired, OR, Delusional, you only have belief of the portions YOU agree with?

11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner--not even to eat with such a person. 12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore "put away from yourselves the evil person."

You are mistaken if you did not request endtimes to justify your position. Just re-read if you are as unsure as you are portraying. You questioned my position on the statements in context. I bow to no self righteous peer pressure. The words in context speak for themselves. I am not mistaken, I am graced by the infinite divine wisdon shared by Christ. You can change if it you like, but that doesnt bring you in line with the spoken doctrine of the messiah. You are well meaning I'm sure, just mistaken. Consider the fall of man. God created everything whether you like it or not.
Satan does not have such power. Give me the scripture where Satan has such power. I think deluision is his power and you judging others wihtout yourself beiing righteouss is a satanic delusionl

No, I think you were mistaken. I merely stated that I wanted to wait and see what endtimes posted in regard to the judge not verse, before I expounded. THAT was not asking for anyone to justify anything....I was merely curious as to what endtimes would post, as I am not real familiar with his/her postings? I guess you were referring to this post:

I was merely waiting to see what endtimes would add to the discussion, before I posted the reasons for thinking that the verse was constantly used out of context by those who don't want to hear about sin.

Good luck with that Delusional. You are definitely delusional.

Christs teachings through Paul are no different than through any of the other gospels.

But by badmouthing Paul you put no doubt but as to your delusion.

The sermon on the mount is good teaching but asking God for His Spirit and receiving His Spirit is Salvation.

4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

That would be a false doctrine to, even though I have never hear of it.

Here Am I
The false doctrine that baptism takes away original sin. Denominational churches which believe this false doctrine make it a practice... a "sacrament" to baptize infants so they would go directly to Heaven if they were to die.

That is another that I have not heard of, but it is false. The Grace of God and the blood of the Lamb take away the guilt of sin as long as you repent and sin no more.

John 5:14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, "See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you."

John 8:11 She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more."

The worst false doctrine is the rapture. It has killed and sent more would be christians into outer darkness than any other.

Another false doctrine is "Going to Heaven when you die". This removes the need for a resurrection from the dead and blasphemes what Christ did for those who Love Him.

Another false doctrine, that has leavened the Lump the Longest, is the trinity. The Father and God are the same Person and Christ said God is Spirit that makes God and the Holy Spirit the same person and Christ claimed to be the Father so this Verse from the Bible seems to tell the truth the way it should be spoken.

1 Tim. 1:[16] Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
[17] Now unto the King [eternal, immortal,] invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
There is NO satanic doubt cast in these Inspired Words of the Godhead. They are IMMORTAL and there has never been a time when They were not! Now lets go to the very first part of Their Word to us. We see below where Adam & Eve are to die. And that the tree of life was seen as giving Eternal Life only on CONDITION OF OBEDIENCE.Yet, of Prime Importance was that ONLY GOD has unconditional Immotality. Pay attention to the Word of 'become 'as' one of US.'
Gen. 3: [21] Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
[22] And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, [size="5"]and live for ever: (Again, as one of US! Also we see that we are created or made in the likeness of Their [Image]! Yet, it is documented that these two are Immortal! Compare Gen. 11:7 for this definition of 'US' again, Two Immortal ones!)

[23] Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
[24] So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
And in Rev. We see that the tree of life will again be restored to the ones who will 'then' have Eternal life. They will again eat of the Tree of Life to be conditionally Immortal. See Nahum 1:9

And the Holy [Spirit] or the [Holy Ghost] who is also the third person of the Godhead. He is exactly who & what He Inspires Himself as, Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost. When Christ the Word states that God IS A SPIRIT, it is speaking of the one that Christ said will not speak of HIMSELF, but will testify of ME.
