BARN VISION

I saw was a very large red barn set in the midst of a farm. The farm was surrounded by forest. There was a storm approaching, the clouds were getting darker and darker. I saw the Lord herding a large flock of sheep into an enclosure attached to the barn. He sent his disciples to gather in other animals. I could see them running throughout the farm gathering all the animals to bring them to the enclosure. I saw one disciple chasing after some chickens who wouldn't come to him. They were flapping their wings and clucking, and being entirely uncooperative. While the Lord was herding his sheep into the enclosure, I could see in the distance a cow up on a hill, grazing. She was black and white, and I especially noticed her glossy coat. A ray of light was shining on her, the sun had broken through the clouds and was shining right on her, while the rest of the scene was still under clouds. The Lord was looking at her, and was distressed that she wasn't aware of the coming danger. I sensed that it would take too long for someone to go and get her and bring her back in time before the storm. If only she would look up from her grazing, she would see the commotion and head for the barn, but she was too busy feeding on the tender grass. I looked towards the forest, and among the trees, hidden by the shade, I could see wolves gathering. Somehow I knew that the barn was full, up to the very rafters, with food and provision for the coming difficult days. I noticed that the sheep, though they were safe in the enclosure, had no roof over their heads.

The Lord is gathering His children to safety before the coming storms. Those who heed His voice and obey will be in a safe place, under His watchful eye, with all their needs completely provided for. Some of His children are being brought to a place of safety by the Lord's faithful ministers and prophets. These children haven't yet learned to hear His voice directly, but the Lord is speaking through his ministers to bring them in. Some of these children are too filled with fear, and have not learned obedience and trust in the Lord, [chickens]. The cow represents those ministries that are evangelistic [providers of the milk of the Word], but that have been corrupted [black and white]. The cow's glossy coat speaks of their growing rich for themselves. They have become distracted by their comforts and riches, and no longer have an ear to hear the voice of the Spirit. The cow could feel the sun on her back, and was standing in the sunlight, [to the eyes and senses of the flesh everything seems AOK] so she thought all was well. If she had stopped grazing for one moment, and looked up, she would have seen the Lord looking at her in the distance, and she would have known immediately of the coming dangers. Instead, she will probably be the first to be devoured.
I asked the Lord why the sheep in the enclosure had no covering, but were going to be exposed to the elements. He pointed out to me their thick woolly coats, and the provisions in the barn. Their coats had grown thick by their enduring the harsh winter [previous sufferings in the time of preparation]. The provisions are those things the Lord Himself will provide. He said His children would feel the coming difficulties to some extent, and see with their eyes the destruction of the wicked [those outside the enclosure] but no harm would come to them. He would be right there with them.

August 18, 2008: I am reminded of the scripture Matthew 17:20 If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Many of us have mountains before us, hindering forces arrayed against us that need to be removed. We must rise up in our most holy faith to believe God for those mountains to be removed, and they will be. Amen!

August 18, 2008: God is always faithful to give us signs to confirm His word. On 08/08/08, at our Friday night service (for those who were not here), we had an amazing demonstration of God's presence at exactly 8:00 p.m. a tremendously heavy rain came. We could hear it thunder on the church roof. It reminded me of Hosea 6:3 -- Let us know, let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, like the latter and former rain to the earth. Then, the rain lasted for a short time and when Jeanine held up the 8-minute card for the preacher, it stopped. It didn't just dwindle; it stopped as if a switch was thrown. I'm also reminded of the Olympic games and Phelps' new record of winning 8 gold medals. God is demonstrating in this time of new beginnings a re-establishment of faith and a time of victory. I keep being reminded of a vision I had at our last conference, which is usually a time when God sets a prophetic pattern of what is ahead. I remember seeing in this vision a high plateau before us with a river running down from the top of it. God's people were in the water down below and were trying to get to the new plateau; some were paddling and some were swimming, and we were really struggling to try to get there. The water was fast, rough, and turbulent, and we weren't making much headway and had to really fight. That's where we are now in transition. But, in the vision there was a point when the river changed the direction of its flow, and it began to carry us up to the plateau that God had prepared for us. I sense today that we are almost to that place. Don't quit. Continue to fight through to reach that point where there is a change in the flow of the river that will carry you to a new place in the Spirit.

WORD TO PONDER: FINDING BALANCE AMONG PEOPLE’S PROBLEMS 4/05/08

When surrounded in the midst of many people with problems, determine to stay where I have called you. Precious one, the world is full of many children all growing up into My stature. Each and every level has its own trials and sufferings that produce character and good fruit when coming into My image.



You can not carry all their problems and if you try, it will derail you on your own journey. I have not called you to be their source, be watchful of those who lean and drain life from you. Do your part by remaining simple when sharing the gifts I give to you. Learn how to balance the boundaries I have set for your life; be loving but firm with those who resist them. Teach them to lean on Me as their Source. And learn how to be a helping hand by dispatching the problems to the body who are to do the work of ministry. Many hands make light the work.



Eph 4:12 AMP

His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ's body (the church).

August 18, 2008. You are doing well these days in that you are learning neither to judge nor to speak curses. At one time in your life, this was a major weakness. But look at you now. Your growth curve took a steep upward turn. This makes Me proud of you. Also, you have become more and more of a blesser. You have virtually stopped running yourself down. This is good. You give blessings to others all the time. This is also good. As to cursing and judging, let your lips be closed and your tongue be stuck to the roof of your mouth. As to blessings, be the ever flowing fountain I have destined you to be.

August 18, 2008. You need to keep your mind on what I have said and what I have led you to do. You have let your mind wander to what others think of you, and your beliefs. You will always have people who question and maybe even misunderstand. Trying to please others will cause you to get off My track. Of course seek counsel, but in the end you will have to set your own mind on things I have said. Open your heart again to see if you heard Me correctly. You need to be sure. Then move full speed ahead with confidence. Not looking to the right or the left. Follow Me.

I was inside a beautiful house, It was in Biblical times. The house had marble floors and rich draperies and tapestries hanging on its doorways and walls. There were four or five men waiting in a front room, a sitting room. I saw the Lord enter the room, he was the son of the house, and they had come to consult with him regarding the management of his lands, and the bringing in of the harvest. I knew His Father was elsewhere, and had entrusted all matters to His son. The men were very eager to speak to Him, and tried to push each other out of the way to get the Lord to answer their questions and listen to them. The Lord was very calm, and I knew they respected and admired His wisdom. Even though he was obviously very important, and he exuded authority, there was not a trace of pride or arrogance in his demeanor. Any mortal man would have been puffed up by all this attention, and by having this wealth and position. He was very practical, frank, and straightforward in his answers and discussion with these men. While this meeting was taking place, I glanced over into the next room and I saw a maidservant kneeling there. She was actually semi-transparent and colorless, and she was kneeling because the Lord had shortly before walked by there. Beyond her I saw another servant also kneeling, and I understood that they were servants of the house, and knew all the private matters of the family, as faithful trusted servants do. They were kneeling not because they had to, but because they loved the Lord, the Son, so much, that they just couldn't help but fall down before Him out of the abundance of their great love for Him every time He came near. They all, and I sensed there were more servants in the house, had a debt of gratitude to Him. Being familiar with the private affairs of the family, they also loved him dearly and cherished him, as if they had seen Him grow up and knew His character well. They were 'invisible' to the men who were importuning the Lord in the front room, and I knew these men considered the servants to be of no importance, as mere servants, and that only their work could possibly interest the Lord and have any importance to Him. In contrast, however, I sensed that the Lord was wearied by these men, and grieved that they had not even given Him a chance to sit down to talk to them. They were standing between him and the couches, and He couldn't get by them to sit down, but kept pressing in on Him to answer them regarding the issues of interest to them, pushing themselves in front of His face in order to edge each other out. I could see out the windows, beyond the house, all the lands that had been entrusted to the care of these men, lands belonging to the Son and His Father. There were many fields, the harvest was truly 'great.'

There are those who serve the Lord in a visible way, and those who serve Him who are invisible, so to speak. I see the men as those who serve the Lord in a visible way, but who have allowed their 'great' ministries, or their 'work for the Lord' to take preeminence in their minds, and consider themselves of very great importance to the Lord. In their zeal they have forgotten to just rest in His presence, and delight in Him, and seek to serve His will and desires. They are overcome with concerns about 'the ministry.' the harvesting of souls, and their role in it. The 'invisible' servants are those who have come to the point in their spiritual walk where they really don't care what they do or how they are seen by men, or if they are ever seen at all, their only desire is to be near the Lord and to do whatever He might ask of them, just so long as they can be close to Him and get to see Him and be in His presence. Because of their great love they have been granted the privilege of dwelling in the House of the Lord, and gazing at the beauty of the Lord. They are humble because they perceive the enormity of the sacrifice the Son endured for them to be able to be there. They know their own worthlessness, or the worthlessness of their works in the eyes of the Master, and are eternally grateful for his gracious act of mercy in redeeming them from the world, and delivering them out of it into His own dwelling place.

May we all lay aside our 'oh so important concerns' and our appearance before man, and just seek to be with Him in the secret of His Presence, drinking in His beauty, breathing in the glorious fragrance of his Essence, and the light and loveliness of His Spirit, and resting from all our feeble futile works of soul and body. Let Him Be in us, let us ask for the grace to lay aside ourselves and allow Him to Be in us, allow His Spirit to rest in us, as we rest in Him.

APPEARANCES

I was in a garden, enclosed by a high wall. In the center was a well, which turned into a spring of water. The Lord was working on a flowerbed as I watched. He was explaining to me how He works on different aspects of our lives like one works on a garden's different flowerbeds. First clearing weeds, then turning soil over and enriching it, then planting and watering, tending and pruning. He would work on one flowerbed for awhile, then begin on another one, and so on. I was taking in the lessons, of the patience required before one sees growth and fruit, etc. when I happened to notice that He was wearing beautiful thick white garments, of a soft white. They were of a thick cotton. I then noticed he was wearing thick white socks and brown sandals. I giggled at the contrast of his Majestic demeanor, wearing nice garments but such clumsy looking footwear. He was very intent on His work on the flowerbed, digging, and did not notice my giggling.

I asked the Lord why He showed me this.
He said "Because I don't care how I appear to others, as long as get My work done."

UNDER THE EARTH- [Given, I think, sometime in 2006.]

I saw planet Earth and it was grayish and misty, like when you first can make things out in the early dawn. Drew closer and closer to the Earth, to where I could make out a city and surrounding countryside. I saw people that looked like medieval peasants lying face down on the ground, with a large flat plot of earth strapped to their backs. The plots of earth blended in with the ground, so the peasants were actually under the ground as it were.. People in the world would walk on these plots, busy with their affairs, coming and going. Some were oblivious to the people under the plots, some saw them but gave them no importance and continued on their way. A few wiped their feet on them. Then I saw the Lord and He was in a chariot enveloped in clouds. The chariot also looked like a cloud. It hovered close to the surface of the earth. It was fluorescent white and the Lord was in the midst of it. I could see Him from the waist up. It did not move, but gazing at it I heard thunder and had the impression of much movement and activity within the cloud. I heard the phrase "Christ is Risen!" repeated over and over again. The people under the ground began to stand up, slowly, but all at the same time, and the number of them was vast, for they had been covering much of the earth. They themselves did not know so many existed like themselves, they had been hunched up, under the earth, in isolation for so long. They had the appearance of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and were wearing yokes and shackles, but as they stood up the yokes split in half and fell to the ground, and the shackles fell off, and turned to dust as they hit the ground. The people straightened up, and I saw they were all wearing armor as the medieval soldiers did, with a coat of mail. They had no helmet, their hair was cut as a pageboy. It was a vast army and the Lord was in their midst. Their eyes were closed or just barely beginning to open, and they appeared torpid and slow, and unaware of what was happening. The earth was dark and these people only just discernible. The only light was the Lord and His chariot, but dawn was beginning to break on the horizon.

End of vision --

I think this speaks of the dawning of the Day of the Lord, when He will come in glory and raise up His Church. The hidden ones under the earth are those of His Body whom He has kept hidden. It shall be revealed who they are in Him, but the earthen vessel, the body, has kept them hidden from man's perception. They have been kept in spiritual shackles and yokes in a time of suffering and preparation. They have been 'men/women of sorrows and acquainted with grief'. Their appearance resembling the Hunchback shows how they have been perceived by the world. Wikipedia says this about the Hunchback of Notre Dame, named Quasimodo:

< During the 1482 Festival of Fools in Paris, Quasimodo, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, is elected the Pope of Fools for being the ugliest person in Paris. He is hoisted on a throne and paraded around Paris by the jeering mob.>
< He lives in the bell tower of Notre Dame and rings the bells, which have made him become deaf. >
<He ventures outside the Cathedral rarely, since people despise and shun him for his appearance.>

These people have known rejection, and have not found acceptance in the world. They have been perceived as 'fools' or foolish in the eyes of the world. Being trested as doormats speaks of their humility. They are situated throughout the whole earth, but hidden. I believe the rejection they have suffered has been for different reasons, but the effect on their souls has been the same. They have known servitude, powerlessness, and bondage, but like Quasimodo, have made their home the 'House of the Lord" [cathedral] and have grown deaf to the world in order to serve Him, and call others to Him.

However, this is now the dawning of a new day in the Lord, which many prophets are speaking about. This group is now being awakened out of their status quo, their slumber, their hiddenness, and being, or about to be, manifested. Instead of servants/slaves, they are being lifted up into a mighty army, a victorious army, and this is being brought about by the Lord. When night is darkest is when the dawn breaks, and I believe this means that the manifestation will take place just as things seem their worst, right before the dawn.

My explanation of the vision may be lacking or incorrect, but this is my impression of what it means. I submit it and trust you will seek the Holy Spirit to confirm it.
